IMPORTANT: RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS: Visually inspect

all components for shipping damage. If any shipping damage is
found, notify carrier at once.

Shipping damage is NOT covered by warranty. The carrier is
responsible for all repair or replacement costs resulting from
damage in shipment.

• KEEP THREADS CLEAN AND WELL
OILED!

Properly maintained tools are safer to use,
and they work better.

Model KOR-520 and KOR-14 are designed for
use on 10 gauge mild steel. Also for stainless
steel up to 12 gauge.

• ENGAGE THREADS FULLY!

Adapter screw should be firmly seated in
driver screw before beginning the punching
operation. Die and punch should be firmly
seated against the wall of the box before
beginning the punching operation.

STEP 1:

Mark correct center position for hole as shown
in figure 1. (If you are working within close tol­erances, mark center position with cross as
indicated at right. These cross lines can be
easily lined up with four markings on outer
surface of die).Then drill 1/8” pilot hole.
Enlarge hole with 7/16” drill so that pull stud
can pass easily though metal. (When pre­punched knockout plugs are located in desired
position, this step becomes unnecessary).

STEP 2:

Thread the proper adapter screw into the dri­ver head as shown in Fig. 2. (Caution: Adapter
screw thread is a left hand thread). To identify
the proper adapter screw refer to Fig.3 and
the associated chart on page four. Adapter
screw should be secured to a firm finger tight­ness.

STEP 3:

Slide proper size die (see chart on page 4)
over adapter screw and insert adapter screw
in predrilled hole as shown in Fig. 4.

STEP 5:

With all items in place, as described above,
and ratchet wrench inserted in driver; work
ratchet wrench-driver screw in a counterclock­wise direction while holding driver handle sta­tionary.

STEP 4:

Screw proper size punch (see chart on page

4) on to adapter screw from the other side, as
shown in Fig. 5, tightening to a snug fit against
the wall of box.

STEP 6:

When operation is complete; remove assembly
from the box, unscrew the punch, and remove
the knockout slug from the die.
(Caution: Always remove the slug from the die
after every knockout operation).

MAINTENANCE:

All components should be kept clean and free
from dirt and grit.
The adapter screws and ratchet wrench mov­ing parts should be kept well lubricated with a
#20 oil.

The driver unit screw, internal housing thread,
and steel balls should be lubricated periodical­ly with a molybdenum disulfide based lubricat­ing grease. Keeping the unit lubricated will not
only reduce wear but will also result in easier
operation.

WARRANTY: GB ELECTRICAL, INC. warrants its
products against defects in workmanship and materi­als for 1 year from date of delivery to user. Chain is
not warranted. Warranty does not cover ordinary wear
and tear, abuse, misuse, overloading, altered prod­ucts or use of improper fluid.

WARRANTY RETURN PROCEDURE: When ques­tion of warranty claim arises, send the unit to the
nearest GB Authorized Service Center for inspection,
transportation prepaid. Furnish evidence of purchase
date. If the claim comes under the terms of our war­ranty the Authorized Service Center will REPAIR OR
REPLACE PARTS AFFECTED and return the unit
prepaid.

repairs performed by an Authorized Service Center
displaying the official GB Authorized sign are backed
