FinePix 30i

Like its forerunner, the FinePix 40i, the FinePix 30i is equipped with an integrated MP3 player and is a truly
multimedia device. The camera thus has more than photographic talents. As a small, portable MP3 player, it
can also be used for music listening. A set of batteries is sufficient for 4.5 hours of listening enjoyment
using the headphones supplied. Special feature: the current title and name of the performer can be seen not
only on the camera display but also on a special display built into the headset control unit. Up to 20 minutes
of MP3 audio data will fit on the 16 MB SmartMedia card with ID function supplied. Software is supplied for
converting CD audio data to MP3 format on your own PC or Mac and can also be downloaded on the
Internet. For recording, too, the FinePix 30i is excellent. The recording data files are in WAV format. The 16
MB SmartMedia card is large enough for 33 minutes; using the optional 128 MB card and an AC power
adapter, the capacity is 272 minutes. The camera can also record 20-second video clips with sound and 30
seconds of speech notes to a picture. The multimedia genius has another trick up its sleeve: it has a USB
interface, allowing it to be used as a webcam.
