Quick Note:
The Getting Started Guide (GSG), CD, and adapter are included in you X720 retail packaging.
The GSG is on top of device tray, while the adapter is inserted into the device tray itself. Please find the adapter inside the inner tray and CD will be placed underneath of the inner tray.

About the X720 Data Card

1. Service Status LED Indicator: This LED indicates the device’s current status (i.e. when
connected to 3G, connected to 4G LTE, or when service is not available). Please see the LED indicator status on page 8 for more information.
External Antenna Port: LTE Antenna port (antenna not included)
ExpressCard Port: ExpressCard/34 (34 mm wide) port
4G LTE USIM Card Slot: See page5 for instructions on how to Insert your 4G LTE
capable USIM Card.

Getting Started
Insert the USIM Card
To open the device cover and install your new 4G LTE capable USIM Card, follow the steps below.
1. Remove the cover from the USIM card slot by placing your fingernail into the divot on
the cover.
2. Insert your 4G LTE capable USIM card (if one is not already inserted). The USIM card
contact points (gold colored) should face down toward the device. Insert the card with the notched corner positioned as shown above (blue circle) and slide the card in the slot.
3. Secure the card by pushing it into the slot firmly.
4. Re-apply the device back cover.
