MODEL G / MODEL B
Thank you for your purchase of a FISHMAN product. Please read these instructions carefully. If you have any questions or problems, contact our PRODUCT INFORMATION LINE at 508-988-9665.
Both units provide active gain and active boost and cut for Bass and Treble. The center frequencies of these controls have been selected for their relationship with acoustic instruments.
The tone controls are shelving style. The width of the Bass and Treble separation effectively provides a midrange control; boosting the Bass and Treble controls will simultaneously provide an effective midrange cut or vice-versa.
The preamp housing is made of rugged aluminum and weighs only seven ounces. For maximum portability and user convenience, it is equipped with a heavy duty stainless steel belt clip and four little black rubber feet.
The Model G is designed specifically for acoustic stringed instruments including guitars, violins, violas, cellos and mandolins.
The Fishman Model B Acoustic Bass Preamp offers the same features as its general purpose counterpart, but has specially selected frequencies specifically chosen for the acoustic bass and the Fishman BP-100 Bass Pickup.
