ACOUSTIC EFFECTS
Demo Tips
• Whenever possible, demonstrate AFX pedals in stereo for maximum impact
• Emphasize the natural tone of the instrument before cranking up the effect. Then, turn the
pedal on and off to show that the natural guitar sound isn’t buried or overly colored, even
with the effect all the way up.
• When demoing an AFX Delay: Set a delay to “Long” mode, press and hold the switch until
the light flashes. Play a short rhythm phrase, release the switch. Improvise over the loop
you just created.
• Develop a repertoire of appropriate licks to highlight each type of AFX effect
