Description
The model EHDL1 converts any Fieldpiece accessory head into a stand alone meter. Plug the EHDL1 into the bottom of any Fieldpiece accessory head, select the appropriate range, and read the display.
! WARNING
Use only with Fieldpiece accessory heads. Accessory heads deliver low voltage (under 10V) to the EHDL1. Voltages higher than 30VDC or 24VAC can damage the EHDL1.
DO NOT CONNECT EHDL1 TO LINE VOLTAGE!
How to use
1.Connect any of the Fieldpiece accessory heads to the EDL1 by sliding it onto the top of the handle.
2. Turn on and select either 200mV range or 2000mV to best suit your measurement.
3. Select AC for current clamp or DC for the rest of the accessory heads.
4. Follow any specific instructions to the paticular head you are using and measure as usual.
5. Press hold to hold current measurement.
How to use MAX/MIN button
1. Press MAX/MIN to begin recording MAX and MIN. MAX will be displayed.
2. Press MAX/MIN to alternate between displaying the current MAX and MIN.
3. Press MAX/MIN and hold for 1 second to erase MAX and MIN and display current reading.

Warranty
The EHDL1 is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, Fieldpiece Instruments will, at its option, replace or repair the defective unit.
This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from abuse, neglect, accident, unauthorized repair, alteration, or unreasonable use of the instrument. Any implied warranty arising out of the sale of Fieldpiece's products including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantibility, and fitness for purpose, are limited to the above.Fieldpiece shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
State laws vary, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Service
There are no user serviceable parts inside. Send any defective EHDL1 to Fieldpiece Instruments for warranty service along with proof of purchase.
Warranty service will typically be made within 24 hours after receipt of defective unit. Any non-working out-of-warranty product may be sent to Fieldpiece Instruments for service. Send the EHDL1 along with a check or money order for $15 to Fieldpiece Instruments. Your repaired or replaced EHDL1 will be returned to you with a 6 month warranty.
