THE FENDER®HERITAGE
Since 1946, Fender realized the importance of your amplifier. You see, your amplifier is more than a combination
of dials, wires and speakers. Your amplifier IS a musical instrument. And like any fine musical instrument, it
should be treated with special care and attention to detail.
At Fender, we know what building amplifiers is all about. For over half a century, we have been designing and
producing some of the world’s best amplifiers helping shape the face of music. In fact, many of the world's most
classic and best sounding amplifiers have proudly worn the Fendername.
Whether you're after that classic Fender tone, a clean crisp sound for your Bass or Keyboard or the raw driving
power of modern distortion, your decision to purchase a Fender amplifier is one you will appreciate with each
passing note for years to come.
Wishing you years of enjoyment and a heartfelt thank you.

THE FENDER PROFESSIONAL TUBE AMPLIFIER SERIES
Designed for the discriminating musician, Fender Professional Tube Amplifiers cater to the artist who appreciates
the full-bodied, rich tones that only tube amplifiers can create. Professional Tube Amplifiers combine that classic
Fender sound with a perfect touch of modern, "real world" player conveniences.
Fender Professional Tube Amplifiers feature welded, all-steel chassis capable of handling the most extreme conditions. Covered in genuine Tolex for long life and lasting good looks, our cabinets are constructed from premium, handselected birch/maple plywood and employ rugged corner joinery. Only the most road-worthy and musical components
are used in the all-tube circuitry. This and much more enables each amplifier to withstand the most demanding performance situations, day in and day out. And last, but certainly not least, Fender's classic all-tube reverb adds that touch
of depth and tone that has kept guitarists smiling for generations.
Professional gear for the professional musician. The serious amplifier choice is Fender. So whether you
want your blues to "cry like a baby" or your heavy metal leads to "scream like a madman", Fender has a Professional
Tube Amplifier for you.

PROSONIC™ REFERENCE AND OWNER'S MANUAL
INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of a Fender Prosonic Professional Tube Amplifier. The Prosonic is a unique amplifier
offering endless possibilities and numerous features, setting it apart from any other amplifier. Each Prosonic amplifier is
individually hand-crafted from the finest components at our Fender amplifier factory in Lake Oswego, Oregon, USA.
The All-Tube Prosonic is available in 2 models, the 2-10” speaker Combo with Reverb and the Prosonic Head amplifier.
Both versions feature a 3-way bias/rectifier switch, allowing the player a choice between class A cathode bias, class AB
grid bias, as well as the sounds of both tube and solid state rectifiers. The Prosonic is rated at 60 Watts R.M.S. and
includes, among its many features, 2 gain controls. Gain 1 functions as a standard gain stage whereas Gain 2 functions
similar to a compressor, adding sustain while reducing “Edge” when the volume is increased. This channel produces
great high gain sound at any volume - from bedroom to stadium.
The Prosonic combo is designed for the guitarist who requires a portable, medium powered amplifier with reverb capable of
producing tones ranging from the crystal clean to a super gain crunch. Equipped with 2 channels, the Prosonic combo
offers the flexibility of accessing each channel via the front panel A/B switch or the two button footswitch (provided).
The Prosonic head is designed for the guitarist who requires a medium Wattage head with a wide variety of great tones.
Like the Prosonic combo, the Prosonic head features 2 channels with the flexibility of accessing each channel via the front
panel A/B switch or the footswitch (also enclosed).
In order to thoroughly understand the operation, features and functions of your amplifier, please read and refer, as needed, to this operation manual. By doing so, your amplifier is sure to provide you with years of trouble-free music making
and maximum playing enjoyment.
