Theabsenceofdisruptionsinthesourceofthe
upper-midfrequencies(inevitableinmulti­enclosuresarrayapplications)andthedefinitionof
theverticalanglecoverageattheproject
developmentphase,allowimprovedevennessand
coherenceofthewavefrontthroughthewaveguide,

speaker'swavefrontfromsphericaltocylindrical.
Themethodsofformingasubstantiallyisophase
wavefrontadoptedbythemajormanufacturers
involvescreatingmultiplepathsbetweenthe
compressiondriverexitandtheradiationslot,
causingdifferentarrivaltimes.Thiscauses
reflectionsandstaticwavesthatdegradethequality
ofthesound,addingrippleinthefrequencyresponse
