The Extron MLP 101, MLP 101 AAP, and MLP 101 D are compact microphone
preamplifiers that allow a dynamic or condenser microphone to be connected
to any device with a line level input. Featuring 48 volt phantom power and wide
input gain adjustment range, they are ideal for presentation environments as well
as distribution and recording.

The Extron MLP 101, MLP 101 AAP, and MLP 101 D Mic to Line
n Selectable 48 volt phantom power – Provides voltage for
Preamplifiers are compact mic preamps for applications where a
microphone must be connected to a line level audio input on a device
such as a switcher or line level mixer. Mic level signals are boosted up
n Precise mic input gain adjustment – A continuous, rotary trim
to balanced or unbalanced line level signals. These preamps also allow
a microphone to be connected to the Aux/Mix input on the Extron
MediaLink™ series of switchers.
MLP 101
The front panel of the MLP 101 features a continuous gain control
for precise adjustment of input microphone level. Toggle switches are
n Remote volume and mute control capability – Allows volume
provided to engage 48 volt phantom power for compatibility with
condenser microphones, and a switchable low cut filter at 75 Hz to
reduce rumble and wind noise picked up by the microphone. Input
n Selectable 75 Hz low cut filter – Rolls off frequencies below
and output connections are provided on the rear panel using captive
screw connectors. The MLP 101’s output can be remotely controlled
for microphone level adjustment via a 10k potentiometer, and muting
via contact closure using the VCM 100 AAP, VCM 100 MAAP, or a
