Tools ‘HULK’ Compaction Plate. Please complete and mail
your product guarantee card or this can be completed online.
Doing so will validate your machine’s warranty period and
ensure prompt service if needed. We sincerely thank you

GENERAL SAFETY RULES
WARNING: For Your Own Safety. Read Instruction Manual Before
Operating the equipment.
• Take the ‘HULK’ to where it is required. Caution should be used whilst
lifting and carrying (minimum of two persons required).
NEVER leave the engine running whilst moving or transporting the
‘HULK’, even if it is only a short distance.
• Having carried out the checks listed in the 'pre start' section, you may
start the engine.
• NOTE:- Once the machine has been started, the ‘HULK’ should
start vibrating and therefore the machine will also move in a forward
direction. Always check the machine for any unusual noises. If
any of these occur, stop the machine immediately and refer to the
troubleshooting section.
• Use the control handle to steer or turn the ‘HULK’.
• The vibrator not only causes the plate to vibrate but also causes the
machine to travel forward.
• The speed of travel will be determined by the condition of the surface
being compacted.
• If the surface to be compacted is on a slope, great care must be taken
when controlling the ‘HULK’ direction of travel. Work up and down a
slope not across.
• Work the ‘HULK’ over the surface in an organised pattern until the
required compaction has been achieved.
• Where there are a number of different layers to be compacted on top
of each other, compact each layer individually.
Improper maintenance can be hazardous. Repairs and servicing should
only be conducted by an Evolution Power Tools’ approved engineer.
Improper repairs and / or maintenance will invalidate your warranty.
CAUTION
This equipment is heavy and extreme caution should be used while lifting
(minimum of two person lift or use suitable lifting equipment).
Cordon off the work area and keep members of the public and unauthorized
personnel at a safe distance.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn by the operator
whenever this equipment is being used (see Health & Safety).
Make sure you know how to safely switch this machine OFF before you
switch it ON in case you get into difculty.
Always switch OFF the engine before transporting, moving it around the
site or servicing it.
During use the engine becomes very hot, allow the engine to cool before
touching it. Never leave the engine running and unattended.
Never remove or tamper with any guards tted, they are there for your
protection.

Always check guards for condition and security, if any are damaged or
missing, DO NOT USE THE MACHINE until the guard has been replaced
or repaired.
Do not operate the MACHINE when you are ill, feeling tired, or when under
the inuence of alcohol or drugs.
Fuel Safety
WARNING! Fuel is ammable. It may cause injury and property damage.
Shut down the engine, extinguish all open ames and do not smoke while
lling the Fuel Tank. Always wipe up any spilled fuel.
Before refuelling, switch off the engine and allow it to cool.
When refuelling, DO NOT smoke or allow naked ames in the area.
Spilt fuel must be made safe immediately, using sand. If fuel is spilt on your
clothes, change them.
Store fuel in an approved, purpose made container away from heat and
ignition sources.

Operating Instructions
Before you operate or carry out any maintenance on this machine YOU
MUST READ and STUDY this manual.
Vibration
Some vibration from the compaction operation is transmitted through the
handle to the operator's hands. The Evolution ‘HULK’ has been specically
designed to reduce hand/arm vibration levels. Refer to Technical Data
section for vibration levels and usage times (recommended maximum daily
exposure time). DO NOT exceed the maximum usage times.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Suitable PPE must be worn when using this equipment i.e. Safety Goggles,
Gloves, Ear Defenders, Dust Mask and Steel Toe capped footwear (with
anti-slip soles for added protection). Wear clothing suitable for the work
you are doing. Always protect skin from contact with concrete.
Dust
The compaction process can produce dust, which may be hazardous to
your health. Always wear a mask that is suited to the type of dust being
produced.
Fuel
Do not ingest fuel or inhale fuel vapours and avoid contact with your
skin. Wash fuel splashes immediately. If you get fuel in your eyes, irrigate
with copious amounts of water and seek medical attention as soon as
possible.
WARNING! Exhaust Fumes
The exhaust fumes produced by this equipment are dangerous and can
kill!
WARNING!
Do not operate your ‘HULK’ indoors or in a conned space, make sure the
work area is adequately ventilated.

MANUTENZIONE
Si consiglia di afdare tutte le principali operazioni di manutenzione e
riparazione. a un rappresentante autorizzato Evolution. Utilizzare sempre
parti di ricambio autentiche Evolution.
Prima di effettuare qualunque operazione di manutenzione della macchina,
spegnere il motore e staccare il cavo HT dalla candela.
Collocare sempre 'HULK' su un appoggio piano per accertarsi che i livelli
dei uidi vengano rilevati in modo corretto. Servirsi esclusivamente degli
oli consigliati.
Periodo di Rodaggio
Al primo utilizzo di un 'HULK' nuovo, occorre cambiare l'olio motore dopo il
periodo di rodaggio iniziale come indicato nella scheda di Manutenzione
Ordinaria.
Occorre controllare la tensione della cinghia dopo 4 ore di utilizzo. Se sono
state montate delle cinghie nuove, la tensione dev'essere controllata 30
minuti.
Cinghia di Trasmissione Tensionamento
Smontare la protezione e controllare la tensione della cinghia esercitando
una leggera pressione con un dito sulla cinghia stessa, in posizione
centrale rispetto alla trasmissione e alla puleggia condotta. La cinghia
deve ettersi di circa 5mm.
Qualora occorra regolare la tensione, allentare i quattro dadi di regolazione
della cinghia in modo tale da permettere lo spostamento del motore.
Regolare la posizione del motore facendolo scorrere in avanti o all'indietro
sulla piastra d'appoggio. Una volta effettuata la correzione, stringere
nuovamente i dadi di regolazione della cinghia e ricontrollare la tensione.

PRE START CHECKS
CAUTION! Your ‘HULK’ is shipped with NO oil in the engine, a 0.5ltr
container of oil is supplied with the machine. You MUST add the correct
amount of 0.25ltr of this oil to the engine BEFORE rst use, otherwise
the engine will be damaged and will not be covered by warranty.
Pre start-up inspection.
The following Pre start up inspection must be performed before the start
of each work session or after every four hours of use. Please refer to the
service section for detailed guidance. If any fault is discovered, the ‘HULK’
must not be used until the fault is rectied.
1. Thoroughly inspect the ‘HULK’ for signs of damage. Make sure that
the belt guard is secure before using the machine.
2. Check hoses, ller openings, drain plugs and any other areas for
signs of leakage. Fix any leaks before operating.
3. Check the engine oil level and top up as necessary.
4. Check the engine fuel level and top up as necessary.
5. Check for fuel and oil leaks.
Stopping the engine
1. Reduce the engine speed to minimum.
2. Turn the engine ON / OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.
3. Turn the fuel off.
Starting the engine
1. Open the fuel tap.
2. If starting the engine from cold, move the choke lever to the CLOSED
position. To restart a warm engine leave the choke lever in the OPEN
position.
3. Turn the engine ON / OFF switch to the ‘ON’ position.
4. Taking a rm hold of the control handle with one hand, grasp the
recoil starter handle with the other. Pull the recoil starter until engine
resistance is felt, then let starter return.
5. Pull the starter handle briskly.
6. Repeat until the engine res. NOTE: Once the engine res it will run
on it's preset engine RPM.
7. IF the choke lever was moved to the CLOSED position to the start the
engine, gradually move it to the OPEN position as the engine warms
up.
8. If the engine fails to re after several attempts, follow the trouble-
shooting guide.
Setting the engine speed
To increase the speed, move the throttle lever towards the LEFT.
To decrease the speed, move the throttle lever towards the RIGHT.
Idle speed
The engine Idle speed is factory preset and should not need adjustment.

COMPACTION
Soil, which has been disturbed or new inll, sub base and blacktop, will
have small voids or air pockets which, if not compacted, will lead to one or
more problems occurring.
1. As trafc crosses the surface of an uncompacted area, the material
is compressed. This leads to subsidence of the top surface as the
material lls the voids.
2. A similar situation occurs with static loads on uncompacted ground.
The load (e.g. a building) will sink.
3. Materials with voids are more susceptible to water seepage, leading
to erosion. Water ingress may also cause the soil to expand during
freezing temperatures and contract during dry spells. Expansion and
contraction is a major cause of damage to building foundations and
normally leads to the structure requiring underpinning.

Compaction increases the density of the material and therefore increases
its load bearing capacity. Reduces air voids and therefore reduces the risk
of subsidence, expansion and contraction, due to ingress of water.

MAINTENANCE
It is recommended that an approved Evolution dealer carries out all major
maintenance and repairs. Always use genuine Evolution replacement
parts.
Before any maintenance is carried out on the machine, switch off the
engine and disconnect the HT lead from the sparkplug.
Always set the ‘HULK’ on level ground to ensure any uid levels will be
correctly read. Only use recommended oils.
Running In Period
When the ‘HULK’ is rst used from new, the engine oil must be changed
after the initial running in period as specied in the Routine Maintenance
chart on the following page.

The belt tension should be checked after 4 hours use. If new belts have
been tted, the belt tension should be checked after 30 minutes.
Drive Belt Tensioning
Remove the belt guard and check the belt tension by placing light nger
pressure on the top of the belt, as near central between the engine drive
and driven pulley. The belt should deect by approximately 5mm.
If the belt tension requires adjustment, loosen the four drive belt adjustment
bolts enough to allow the engine to be moved. Adjust the engine's position
by sliding the engine assembly forwards or backwards on the baseplate.
Once set, re-tighten the drive belt adjustment bolts and re-check the belt
tension.

Evolution Power Tools will, within twelve (12) months from the
original date of purchase, repair or replace any goods found to
be defective in materials or workmanship, provided the product
Guarantee information has been returned to Evolution Power Tools.
This warranty is void if the product being returned has been used
beyond the recommendations in the Instruction Manual or if it
has been damaged by accident, neglect, or improper service. This
warranty does not apply to machines and / or components which
have been altered, changed, or modied in any way, or subjected
to use beyond recommended capacities and specications. Engine
components are subject to respective manufacturers’ warranties. All
goods returned defective shall be returned prepaid freight to Evolution
Power Tools. Evolution Power Tools reserves the right to optionally
repair or replace it with the same or equivalent item. In no event shall
Evolution Power Tools be liable for loss or damage resulting directly
or indirectly from the use or merchandise or from any other cause.
Evolution Power Tools is not liable for any costs incurred on such
goods or consequential damages. No ofcer, employee or agent of
Evolution Power Tools is authorised to make oral representations of
tness or to waive any of the foregoing terms of sale and none shall
be binding on Evolution Power Tools.

Sicurezza del Carburante
PERICOLO! Il carburante è inammabile. Può provocare infortuni o danni
alle cose. Spegnere il motore, estinguere ogni amma libera e non fumare
durante il rifornimento di carburante. Detergere sempre il carburante
eventualmente versato.
Prima del rifornimento, spegnere il motore e attendere che si raffreddi.
Durante il rifornimento, NON fumare o lasciare amme libere nella zona.
Il carburante eventualmente versato dev'essere immediatamente messo in
sicurezza, servendosi di sabbia. In caso di versamento di carburante sui
vestiti, occorre cambiarsi.
Conservare il carburante in un idoneo recipiente approvato e lontano da
fonti di calore e di amme.
Salute e Sicurezza

Prima di azionare questa macchina o procedere con qualunque operazione
di manutenzione, È OBBLIGATORIO LEGGERE e IMPARARE il presente
manuale.
Vibrazioni
Parte delle vibrazioni dovute alle operazioni di costipazione vengono
trasmesse attraverso l'impugnatura alle mani dell'operatore. Evolution
‘HULK’ è stato appositamente progettato per ridurre i livelli di vibrazione a
mani e braccia. Consultare il capitolo Dati Tecnici per i livelli di vibrazioni
e i tempi di utilizzo (esposizione massima giornaliera consigliata). NON
superare i tempi di utilizzo massimi.
Equipaggiamento Protettivo Personale (EPP)
Durante l'utilizzo dell'apparecchiatura occorre indossare un EPP adeguato,
ad es. occhiali protettivi, guanti, cufe antirumore, maschera antipolvere e
calzature antinfortunistiche con punta d'acciaio (con suole antiscivolo per
una maggiore protezione). Indossare un abbigliamento idoneo al lavoro
svolto. Proteggere sempre l'epidermide dal contatto col cemento.
Polvere
Il processo di costipazione può produrre polvere che può risultare nociva
per la salute. Indossare sempre una maschera idonea al tipo di polvere
prodotta.
Carburante
Non ingerire carburante o inalarne i vapori, evitare il contatto con
l'epidermide. Detergere immediatamente eventuali schizzi di carburante.
(In caso di contatto del carburante con gli occhi, lavare) con abbondante
acqua e ricorrere al più presto all'assistenza medica.
PERICOLO! Fiumi di Scarico
I fumi di scarico prodotti dall'apparecchiatura sono pericolosi e possono
risultare fatali!

Non azionare 'HULK' al coperto o in spazi chiusi, accertarsi che

• Plaats de ‘HULK’ waar nodig. Wees voorzichtig bij het opheffen en
dragen (minimum twee personen nodig).
Laat de motor NOOIT draaien tijdens het verplaatsen of transporteren
van de ‘HULK’, zelfs voor een korte afstand.
• Na de 'pre-start' controles uitgevoerd te hebben, mag u de motor
starten.
• OPMERKING:- Zodra de machine opgestart is, zou de ‘HULK’ moeten
beginnen trillen en de machine zal daarom ook vooruit bewegen.
Let altijd op ongewone geluiden. Indien deze zouden optreden, stop
de machine onmiddellijk and refereer u naar de problemen sectie.
• Gebruik de bedieningshandgreep om de 'HULK' te sturen of the
draaien.
• De vibrator doet de plaat trillen en doet de machine vooruitgaan.
• De snelheid zal bepaald worden door de toestand van het oppervlak
dat gecompresseerd wordt.
• Als het oppervlak dat gecompresseerd moet worden hellend is, dient
u heel voorzichtig te zijn met de stuurrichting van de ‘HULK’. Werk op
een helling steeds van boven naar beneden en niet diagonaal.
• Beweeg de ‘HULK’ over het oppervlak in een georganiseerd patroon
tot de gewenste compressie bereikt is.
• Als een aantal verschillende lagen op elkaar moeten gecompresseerd
worden, dient u elke laag afzonderlijk te compresseren.
Incorrect onderhoud kan gevaarlijk zijn. Herstellingen en onderhoud
mogen alleen uitgevoerd worden door ofciële Evolution Power Tools
servicetechniekers. Ongepaste herstellingen en/of onderhoud maken uw
waarborg ongeldig.
LET OP!
Dit apparaat is zwaar en moet met uiterste zorg getild worden (ten minste
twee personen of geschikte henrichting).
Sluit de werkplaats af en hou het publiek en onbevoegd personeel op
veilige afstand.
De operateur moet een Persoonlijke Beschermingsuitrusting dragen bij het
gebruik van dit apparaat (zie Veiligheid- en Gezondheidsregels).
Zorg ervoor dat u weet hoe u deze machine veilig AF kunt zetten, voor u ze
AAN zet, om moeilijkheden te vermijden.
Zet de motor steeds AF voor het verplaatsen, transporteren op de
werkplaats of onderhoud.
De motor wordt zeer warm tijdens gebruik, wacht tot de motor afgekoeld is
voor u hem aanraakt. Laat de motor nooit draaien zonder supervisie.
Nooit de geïnstalleerde beschermers verwijderen of eraan knutselen, ze
zijn er voor uw veiligheid.
Controleer steeds of de beschermers in goede staat en stevig vast staan.
Indien er ontbreken of beschadigd zijn, DE MACHINE NIET GEBRUIKEN
tot de beschermer vervangen of hersteld is.
Gebruik de MACHINE niet als u zich ziek, vermoeid voelt of u onder de
invloed van alcohol of drugs bent.
Benzine Veiligheid
LET OP! Benzine is ontvlambaar. Het kan verwondingen en schade aan
eigendommen veroorzaken.
Zet de motor af, doof alle open vuur en rook niet tijdens het vullen van de
Benzinetank. Gemorste benzine steeds afvegen.
Voor het bijvullen, dient u de motor af te zetten en wachten tot hij afkoelt.
Rook NIET of laat geen open vuur toe in de nabijheid van het bijtanken.
Gemorste benzine moet steeds onmiddellijk beveiligd worden met het
gebruik van zand. Als er benzine op uw kleding terechtgekomen is dient u
ze te veranderen.
Bewaar benzine in een aangepaste, speciaal daarvoor bestemde container,
ver verwijderd van warmtebronnen en ontvlambare producten.

Vibraties
Enige trillingen van de compressie worden via de handgreep naar de
handen van de operateur doorgezet.
De Evolution ‘HULK’ werd speciaal ontworpen om de hand/arm vibraties te
beperken. Refereer naar de Technische Details sectie voor vibratieniveaus
en gebruikstijden (aanbevolen dagelijkse tijd).
De maximum gebruikstijden NIET overschrijden.
Persoonlijke Beschermingsuitrusting
De juiste Persoonlijke Beschermingsuitrusting moet gedragen worden
bij het gebruik van dit apparaat, b.v. Beschermende Bril, Handschoenen,
Oorbeschermers, Stofmasker en laarzen met staaltips (met anti-slip zolen
voor extra bescherming). Draag aangepaste kledij voor het werk.
Bescherm steeds de huid bij contact met beton.
Stof
De compressie kan stof veroorzaken, wat gevaarlijk kan zijn voor uw
gezondheid. Draag steeds een masker dat aangepast is aan het type
stof.
Benzine
Nooit benzine inslikken of dampen inademen en contact met uw huid
vermijden. Was gespatte benzine onmiddellijk af. Als benzine in uw ogen
terechtkomt, onmiddellijk uitwassen met overvloedige hoeveelheden water
en zo snel mogelijk medische verzorging zoeken.

Período de rodagem
Quando a placa compactadora 'HULK' é utilizada pela primeira vez após a
expedição de fábrica, o óleo do motor deve ser mudado após o período de
rodagem conforme indicado na Tabela de Manutenção de Rotina.
Vericar a tensão da correia após cada 4 horas de operação. Se as
correias forem novas, a tensão deve ser vericada após 30 minutos de
operação.
Correia de accionamento Tensionamento
Remover o resguardo de protecção da correia e vericar a sua tensão,
aplicando uma ligeira pressão com o dedo colocado a meio-vão no tramo
superior da correia (entre a polia do motor e a polia movida). Com esta
força, a echa da correia deve ser cerca de 5 mm.
Se a tensão da correia necessitar de ser ajustada, desapertar os 4 parafusos
de ajustamento da correia de accionamento apenas o suciente para
permitir a deslocação do motor. Ajustar a posição do motor, deslocando-
o para a frente ou para trás na placa de montagem. Após a regulação,
reapertar os parafusos de ajustamento da correia de accionamento e
vericar novamente a tensão da correia.

PRE START CONTROLE
LET OP! Uw ‘HULK’ wordt geleverd ZONDER olie in de motor, een
0,5l oliecontainer wordt met de machine bijgeleverd. U MOET de juiste
hoeveelheid van 0,25l van deze olie in de motor gieten VOOR het eerste
gebruik, omdat de motor anders zal beschadigd worden en niet gedekt zal
zijn door de waarborg.
Pre Start inspectie
De volgende Pre start inspectie moet voor het starten van elk gebruik
uitgevoerd worden of na elke vier uren gebruik. Raadpleeg a.u.b. de
service sectie voor gedetaileerd advies. Als u een fout ontdekt, mag de
‘HULK’ niet gebruikt worden tot de fout hersteld is.
1. De ‘HULK’ zorgvuldig nakijken op sporen van beschadiging. Zorg
ervoor dat de riembeschermer stevig zit voor het gebruik van de
machine.
2. Controleer slangen, vulleropeningen, afvoerstoppen en andere
elementen op lekken. Herstel alle lekken voor gebruik.
3. Controleer het motoroliepeil en vul bij indien nodig.
4. Controleer het benzineniveau en vul bij indien nodig
5. Kijk na of er benzine- en olielekken zijn.
De motor afzetten
1. Verminder de motorsnelheid tot het minimum.
2. Draai de ON / OFF schakelaar van de motor naar 'OFF' stand.
3. De benzine afzetten.
De motor starten.
1. Open benzinekraan.
2. Als de motor koud moet opgestart worden, draai de choke hefboom
naar GESLOTEN (“CLOSED”)
Om een warme motor te herstarten laat de choke hefboom in OPEN
positie staan.
3. Draai de ON / OFF schakelaar van de motor naar 'ON' stand.
4. Houd de bedieningshandgreep stevig vast met een hand, grijp de
terugslag starter met de andere. Trek aan de terugslag starter tot u
de motorweerstand voelt, laat de starter teruggaan.
5. Trek hard aan de terugslag starter.
6. Herhaal tot de motor aanslaat. OPMERKING:Zodra de motor aanslaat
zal hij draaien op de ingestelde motor RPM.
7. Als de choke in GESLOTEN (“CLOSED”) was om de motor op te
starten draai het geleidelijk naar OPEN terwijl de motor opwarmt

aanwijzingen in Problemen sectie
De motorsnelheid instellen
Om de snelheid te versnellen, draai de gasklep hefboom naar LINKS.
Om de snelheid te vertragen, draai de gasklep hefboom naar RECHTS.
Neutrale snelheid De neutrale snelheid van de machine is vooringesteld
en behoeft geen bijstelling.

COMPRESSIE
Grond die verstoord werd of nieuw gevuld, sub basis en zwarte top, zal
kleine leegten of luchtzakken hebben die indien ze niet gecompresseerd
worden zullen aanleiding geven tot één of meerdere problemen.
1. Als verkeer boven een ongecompresseerd oppervlak rijdt, wordt het
materiaal gecompresseerd. Dit leidt naar het bezinksel van het top
oppervlak wanneer het materiaal de leegten vult.
2. Een gelijkaardige situatie ontstaat met statische ladingen op
ongecompresseerde grond.
De lading (bv. een gebouw) zal verzinken.
3. Materialen met leegten zijn gevoeliger voor waterdoorsijpeling, wat tot
erosie leidtWater insijpeling kan ook veroorzaken dat de grond uitzet
bijvorst en samentrekt tijdens droogte. Uitzetting en samentrekking
zijn de belangrijkste oorzaken van schade aan funderingen van
gebouwen en vereisen meestal een versteviging van de structuur.

COMPACTAÇÃO
Os solos trabalhados ou de aterros, as sub-bases e as camadas de
desgaste, apresentam pequenos vazios ou bolsas de ar, que, se não
forem compactados conduzem à ocorrência de um ou mais problemas.
1. A circulação dos veículos na superfície de uma área não compactada
provoca a compressão do material da via. Esta compressão conduz
à cedência da superfície superior da via, como resultado do
preenchimento dos vazios pelo material circundante.
2. Uma situação semelhante ocorre com a aplicação de cargas estáticas
em solos não compactados. Nestas condições, a carga (como, por
exemplo, um edifício) afundar-se-á no terreno.
3. Os materiais com vazios são mais susceptíveis à inltração da água
e, como consequência, à erosão. A entrada da água nos solos pode
também provocar a sua expansão durante a ocorrência de baixas
temperaturas e à sua contracção durante os períodos de seca. A
expansão e a contracção dos solos é uma das principais causas
da danicação das fundações dos edifícios e da exigência da sua
pregagem ou consolidação com estacas.
A compactação aumenta a densidade aparente do material e, por esta
razão, a sua capacidade de suporte de cargas. A compactação reduz
também a quantidade dos vazios e o risco de cedência e de expansão e
contracção provocadas pela inltração da água.

ONDERHOUD
We bevelen aan dat een ofciële Evolution dealer alle belangrijke
onderhouds- en herstellingswerken uitvoert. Gebruik altijd oorspronkelijke
Evolution vervangingselementen
Voor enig onderhoud dat aan de machine uitgevoerd wordt, moet de
machine afgezet worden en de HT kabel van de bougie uitgeschakeld
worden.
Plaats de ‘HULK’ steeds op een waterpas bodem om ervoor te zorgen
dat de vloeistofniveau's correct gelezen kunnen worden. Gebruik enkel
aanbevolen olie.
Inloop Periode

Bij het eerste gebruik van de nieuwe ‘HULK’, moet de olie vervangen
worden na de initiële inloopperiode zoals aangegeven in Regelmatig
Onderhoud.
De riemspanning moet na 4 uren gebruik nagekeken worden. Indien
nieuwe riemen geplaatst werden, moet de riemspanning na 30 minuten
nagekeken worden.
Riemaandrijving Spanning
Verwijder de riembescherming en controleer de riemspanning door
lichte vingerdruk uit te oefenen op de riem, zo centraal mogelijk tussen
de motoraandrijving en de gedreven schijf. De riem zou ongeveer 5mm
moeten afwijken.
Als de riemspanning moet aangepast worden, maakt u de vier riemaandrijving
instellingsschroeven genoeg los om de motor te verplaatsen. Plaats de
motor door de motorinstallatie naar voren of naar achteren te schuiven
op de bodemplaat. Zodra in de juiste plaats, schroeft u de riemaandrijving
instellingsschroeven vast en controleert u de riemspanning.

van materialen die buiten de aanbevelingen in de Gebruikshandleiding
vallen of indien de zaag beschadigd werd door ongeluk, verwaarlozing of
incorrect onderhoud. Deze waarborg is niet van toepassing op apparaten
en/of elementen die werden gewijzigd, veranderd of op enige wijze
omgevormd, of onderworpen aan gebruik dat aanbevolen vermogen
en eigenschappen overschrijdt. Elektrische componenten vallen onder
hun respectieve fabrikantenwaarborg. Alle defecte productendienen per
voorbetaalde verzending naar EvolutionPower Tools teruggestuurd te

0,5 l de óleo lubricante. ANTES da primeira utilização, DEITAR 0,25 l
deste óleo no motor; a não observação desta recomendação conduz à
danicação do motor e à invalidação da garantia em caso de danicação.
Inspecção pré-arranque.
Efectuar as vericações pré-arranque indicadas a seguir, antes do início de
cada sessão de trabalho ou após 4 horas de operação. Para informações
mais pormenorizadas, consultar o parágrafo relativo à manutenção do
equipamento. Se for detectada alguma anomalia, a placa compactadora
'HULK' não deve ser utilizada, antes de a anomalia ser recticada.
1. Inspeccionar completamente o equipamento, de modo a vericar se
apresenta sinais de danicação. Antes de utilizar a máquina, vericar
se o resguardo de protecção da correia se encontra bem xado.
2. Vericar as mangueiras, bocais de enchimento, bujões de drenagem
e quaisquer outras áreas em que exista o risco de fugas. Antes da
operação da máquina, reparar quaisquer fugas detectadas.
3. Vericar o nível do óleo do motor e atestar, conforme
necessário.
4. Vericar o nível do combustível e atestar, conforme necessário.
5. Vericar se existem sinais de fugas de combustível ou óleo
lubricante.
Paragem do motor
1. Reduzir a velocidade do motor até ao mínimo.

GÉNÉRALES
AVERTISSEMENT : Pour votre propre sécurité. Veuillez lire le manuel
d’utilisation avant d’utiliser.
• Amenez le ‘HULK’ jusqu'à l'endroit où il doit être utilisé. Procédez avec
la plus grande attention, lorsque vous soulevez et portez la machine
(cette opération exige la présence de deux personnes minimum).
Ne laissez JAMAIS le moteur tourner lorsque vous déplacez ou
transportez le ‘HULK’, même sur une très courte distance.
• Ne démarrez le moteur qu'après avoir effectué les contrôles indiqués
à la section 'Avant de démarrer'.
• REMARQUE :- Une fois démarré, le ‘HULK’ commence à vibrer
mais également à se déplacer vers l'avant. Vériez toujours que la
machine ne fait pas de bruits suspects. Si vous constatez un bruit
inhabituel, arrêtez immédiatement le moteur et reportez-vous au
chapitre Dépannage.
• Utilisez toujours la poignée de commande pour diriger ou manœuvrer
le ‘HULK’.
• Le système de vibration provoque non seulement la vibration de la
plaque mais également le déplacement de la machine vers l'avant.
• La vitesse de déplacement sera dénie en fonction de l'état de la
surface à compacter.
• Si la surface à compacter est en pente, il convient de faire preuve de
la plus grande vigilance pour diriger la machine. Travaillez toujours
dans le sens de la pente et jamais perpendiculairement à celle-ci.
• Utilisez le ‘HULK’ sur la surface à traiter, de façon méthodique, jusqu'à
l'obtention du compactage requis.
• Si vous devez compactez plusieurs couches superposées, procédez
par couche, en traitant chacune d'elle individuellement.
Un entretien défectueux peut s'avérer dangereux. Ne conez la réparation
et l'entretien qu'à un technicien agréé Evolution Power Tools. Toute
réparation et/ou entretien incorrects entraîne l'annulation de la garantie
ATTENTION
Cette machine est lourde et doit être soulevée avec la plus grande
précaution (cette opération exige la présence de deux personnes minimum
ou l'utilisation d'appareils de levage adaptés).
Délimitez et fermez la zone de travail à l'aide d'un cordon et maintenez
le public ainsi que le personnel non autorisé éloigné, en ménageant une
distance de sécurité.
Portez impérativement des équipements de protection individuels (EPI)
lors de l'utilisation de l'outil (voir le § Santé et Sécurité).
Assurez-vous que vous savez bien éteindre l'outil avant de le mettre en
marche, au cas où vous vous trouveriez dans une situation difcile.
Veillez toujours à bien ARRETER le moteur avant de transporter ou de
déplacer la machine sur le chantier ou de procéder à une intervention
d'entretien.
