Distributed dimming that doesn’t drown out the applause

ETC believes that good dimming shouldn’t be seen or heard. That’s why the Source Four Dimmer

operates completely silently, without any fan drone or filament buzz. It attaches to any ETC Source

®

to provide convenient yet powerful per-fixture distributed dimming. And thanks to ETC’s

Four

Electronic Silent (ES) technology, the Source Four Dimmer can go anywhere your fixtures go, even

in the most acoustically sensitive venues. With noise levels of 0dBA at one meter, you can put 100

Source Four Dimmers on a rig and still hear a pin drop.

Layers of light: Tungsten and LED

Going green doesn’t have to mean abandoning quality of light or overspending on new fixtures. A

Source Four with an attached Source Four Dimmer brings to your rig the brightness and quality of

light that only tungsten can provide, working seamlessly alongside your LED luminaires.

The Source Four Dimmer gives you the same level of security that you get from an ETC Sensor

system, in a distributed dimming model.

You can configure your rig from your desk, thanks to onboard controls for local operation and RDM for remote setup. Find and set DMX

addresses, change curves, and receive status information.

Reinventing power distribution

Now you can send simple switched power to your lighting positions to run all of your LEDs and tungsten loads at the same time. Use your

existing distributed data network to control Source Four Dimmers, LEDs and moving lights. This new power-distribution system makes your

venue more flexible, with an infrastructure that can adapt to new requirements and layouts.
