Due to safety and admission reasons (CE) it is not allowed to arbitrarily reconstruct and/or change the solar light. Therefore, please keep to the operating manual. The accident prevention rules of the association of the industrial trade cooperative association for electric plants and working material are to be considered in industrial environments.
3. Intended Use and Function
The solar underwater spotlight is designed for outdoor operation. The 6 spotlights are designed in protection class IP 68 and may therefore be used under water. The solar module is designed in protection class IP 44 (splashproof) and may also be used outdoors. Immersing the solar module into water is not
permitted. The individual cable splices shall always be connected rmly and
the respective protective cap shall always be closed tightly. The spotlights have to be taken out of the water during the winter and in case of frost. This product is constructed in protection class III (protective extra-low voltage).
The light is automatically switched on at darkness and is switched off in the morning light or when the batteries are discharged. The maximum duration of illumination with a full battery and without recharging amounts to approx. 8 hours. The solar module installed in the upper part of the housing charges the integrated storage battery. The illumination may be switched on and off via a switch on the back side of the solar module. This product is not a toy and is designed for use in a private environment.
Note: Make sure that the solar module is preferably faced to the South and that shadows are avoided. The product can not be used when faced to the North.

4. Now connect the spotlights, T-pieces according to the drawing below. Note: The plugs are moisture-proof. Firmly connect the plugs, pay
attention to a secure seat of the gasket at the plug and rmly close the
screw cap.
5. Now insert the plug into the socket on the back side of the solar module.
6. Now put the switch (1) on the back side of the solar module into the position “ON”. The solar spotlights are now activated.

5. LED Display
A red LED is installed apart from the ON-/OFF-switch on the back of the
solar module. In position “ON”, the red LED ashes if the integrated batteries
are charged by the solar module. At darkness and when the underwater spotlight is switched on, the LED will change into a permanent light.
This LED display serves for the function check of the solar module.
6. Exchange of the Storage Batteries
The capacity of the batteries will become weak after one to two years which requires an exchange of the batteries. The batteries are available from your (local) dealer or the manufacturer.
1. Unscrew the 4 screws on the back of the battery compartment an remove the cover.
2. Remove the batteries from the holders.
3. Insert the new batteries with correct polarity and close the housing in reverse order.
Note: Used batteries have to be disposed of in an environmentally sound way and do not belong into the household waste. Your dealer is required by law to take back old batteries.
7. Malfunctions
Lamp is not activated/switched on at darkness
- Is the lamp switched on? Are the plugs of the spotlights inserted rmly?
- A source of extraneous light (e.g. street lamp) simulates daylight on the
solar module and prevents the activation. Place the lamp at a darker place.
At darkness, the lamp is not activated at all or only for a short time.
- Incorrect polarity when exchanging the batteries?
- Battery weak or defective? Exchange the batteries or charge them with
a commercially available battery charger!
- Are the plug connections of the spotlights inserted tightly?

- Leaking or damaged rechargeable batteries can cause chemical burns when they come into contact with skin. For this reason, please make use of suitable protective gloves.
- Rechargeable batteries should only be replaced by structurally identical rechargeable batteries from the same manufacturer. Normal batteries must not be used since these are not rechargeable.
- Make sure the rechargeable batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.
- For long periods of time of non-use (for example, storage), remove the inserted rechargeable batteries to avoid damages via the leaking rechargeable batteries.
