Battery take-back

Batteries must not be discarded into domestic waste.

Rechargeable battery notes

- Rechargeable batteries should not be played with by children. Never
leave rechargeable batteries lying around; they could be swallowed
by children or pets.

- Rechargeable batteries must never be short-circuited, disassembled
or thrown into fire. This leads to a danger of explosion!

- Leaking or damaged rechargeable batteries can cause chemical
burns when they come into contact with skin. For this reason, please
make use of suitable protective gloves.

- Rechargeable batteries should only be replaced by structurally iden­tical rechargeable batteries from the same manufacturer. Normal bat­teries must not be used since these are not rechargeable.

- Make sure the rechargeable batteries are inserted with the correct
polarity.

- For long periods of time of non-use (for example, storage), remove
the inserted rechargeable batteries to avoid damages via the leaking
rechargeable batteries.

3. Usage in Accordance with Requirements

This party lights are for the atmospheric lighting in outdoor use. They are
designed for year-round outdoor use. The product is waterproof and should
not be exposed to direct water jets or immersed in water.

4. Function

In sunshine the internal battery is charging. At night, the light turns on auto­matically. As a light source there 4-color LEDs are installed.

Note: Please change battery every 2 years. The solar module shall always
be free of snow in the winter.

. Assembly and initiation

1. Take the pieces carefully from the packaging.

2. Unscrew the transparent front part of the light and turn on the slide
switch to the "ON" position (ON).

3. Find a suitable location for the lamp. They can be hung on the clip on a
string or on trees or bushes.

Note: During the winter months the duration of illumination will generally
be shorter. If the lamp should not shine on the first evening, please wait for
a sunny day.

6. Exchange of Accumulators

After one to two years, the capacity of the accumulator will decrease. It is
then required to exchange the accumulators. The accumulator is available
in the shops (NiMh 1,2 V/ 600 mA) or from the manufacturer.

Disposal:

Dear customer,
please cooperate in avoiding waste. When you intend to dispose of the
product in future, please consider that it contains valuable raw materials
suited for recycling.
Therefore, do not dispose it of with domestic waste but bring it to a col­lection point for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equip­ment.

1. Unscrew the transparent front part of the light

2. Slide the battery cover on and remove the battery.

3. Slide the new battery again observing correct polarity (+ pole to the out­side) and worn the light again.

Note: Use batteries or accumulators must be disposed of in a non-pollu­ting way and do not belong into the domestic waste. Your dealer is legally
obliged to take back the old accumulators.

7. Malfunctions

Lamp does not turn on in the dark

- Light is switched on?

- An outside light source (such as streetlight) simulates natural light to the
solar module and prevents switching on the light. Place the lamp in a
dark place.

- Weak or defective battery? Replacing the battery pack at least every 2
years!
