Prior to making a connection, read and follow the full instruction sheet IPRNS, the full
instruction sheet IPP, the full instruction sheet shipped with CADWELD (IPX), and

®

special instructions below.

Strip approximately 1.38” [34.9 mm] of insulation from end of cable 1.

Cut connector as shown above. 2.

Insert stripped cable end into connector. Cable should not extend past center of 3.
hole with insulation butted against connector. If cable is loose in connector, it
should be wrapped with wire to prevent leaks.

Place connector and cable in mold with drilled hole directly under tap hole and 4.
lock with "E-Z" clamp.

Wait approximately 30 seconds until metal has solidified. Open mold and 5.
plunge weld into water to prevent insulation from being damaged by heat.
