2-1 Assembly (Stand)

It is recommended to assemble the stand by a group of three.

Give the screws shown
in the figure a couple of
turns to fasten the
parts temporarily. The
items in the following
steps can not be
attached if the
screws are too tight.

Before using the
printer, be sure
the stand is
fixed in place.
When moving
the printer,
unlock the
casters.

Set Plate A to the Stand Right

You must set this plate before placing main unit on the stand.

Set hex bolts temporarily.

When carrying the printer, use at least 4 persons.

When lifting the printer unit, only hold the highlighted area. Otherwise, it may
affect normal operation and printing.

4-1 Fill ink into ink tank

1. Shake all ink packs before ink filling ink tank.
（Horizontal :5cm (both side) 15times/5sec.

2. Cut the pour spot of ink pack by scissors.

Don’t cut deeply. Because
this position is guide when
pure the ink.

4-1 Fill ink into ink tank

5-1 FW update

After filling all ink as pictures, please turn on printer by FW update mode.

Please do NOT turn on printer before filling all inks!

1)Please check the CURRENT FW version.

2)Please update the latest FW. (Printer turn off automatically.)

3)Please turn on the printer by FW update mode again.

4)Please check the FW version which you updated. If OK, please turn off printer.

6-1 Ink charge

1. Power ON (Normal mode) 2. Set the printer setting (Language, Calendar etc.)

3. Starting Ink Charge

While Ink charging, don’t touch the printer.
Because some bad influence for ink charge process.

Reference :When you can not proceed ink charge,

check the ILS sensor.

1. Turn ON “Service man mode” [Menu]+[ ]+[OK]

2. [SELF TESTING] Æ [Mecha Adjustment] Æ[Sensor Check] ILS

All Color ILS “OFF” OK

C ILS is “ON “Æ C Ink Tank position is NG

7-1 Replace the Maintenance box

After Ink charge, “Replace
maintenance box soon”
message appear on the panel.

(Right side maintenance box
is near full)

Replace the maintenance box of right side
and left side.

(Left side maintenance box is not consume
while printing and will not reach end till
product life.)

level from bottom of the tank becomes

Ink level is more than 70mm:
Recommends to continue using the printer until
the ink level reaches 70mm from the bottom.
