The DC AC Car Adapter powers your PictureMate
a car’s cigarette lighter socket or DC power outlet.
Caution:
This power adapter has been tested and approved by Epson
use with PictureMate. Epson does not and cannot recommend the
compatibility of PictureMate with any other DC AC adapter.
WARNING:
Do not operate PictureMate while driving.
Caution:
To avoid damaging your PictureMate, keep it out
of the sun and don’t leave it in your car or other
location where it can get too hot. High heat may
deform the printer plastic and ink could leak.

Important Safety Guidelines
WARNING:
This product contains chemicals, including lead, known to the State
of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Wash hands after handling.
Do not operate PictureMate while driving.
■ Do not use this adapter with any product except
PictureMate and don’t connect an additional device using
a splitter.
■ Do not attempt to open, service, or repair the adapter.
■ Do not expose the adapter to moisture, or expose it to heat
for extended periods.
■ If the adapter is damaged or fails to operate, contact APC
directly. Epson does not handle servicing of this product.

1. Turn the car’s ignition key to On or Accessory.
2. Remove the car’s cigarette lighter from its socket or open
the cover on the car’s DC power outlet.
3. Make sure the adapter’s lighter tip is installed.
4. Insert the adapter into the cigarette lighter socket or DC
power outlet. The adapter light comes on green. (If the
light doesn’t come on, adjust the position of the adapter in
the socket. If it comes on red, there is insufficient voltage
or the adapter is too hot; allow it to cool before using.)
5. Flip open the dust cap covering the outlet on the other end
of the adapter and secure it in its retaining hole.
6. Connect PictureMate’s power cable and power adapter to
PictureMate, as described in its documentation.
7. Plug PictureMate’s power cable into the outlet on
the adapter.
8. Press the
P On button to turn on PictureMate.
9. When you finish printing, turn off PictureMate first to
allow it to shut down properly.
10. Turn off your car’s ignition, unplug the adapter, and close
the dust cap that covers the outlet to protect it from dust.
Operating Guidelines
■ To avoid damaging your PictureMate or this adapter, keep
them out of the sun and don’t leave them in your car or
other location where they can get too hot.
■ The PictureMate plastic casing may deform and ink could
leak if PictureMate is left in direct sun or in a hot car.
■ Do not leave the adapter connected to the cigarette lighter
socket or DC power outlet when PictureMate is not in use.
■ Always operate PictureMate on a flat surface.

Warranty
APC offers a 1 year product warranty (worldwide) on the APC
Travel Power 75 DC/AC Inverter. APC warrants its product
to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under
normal use and service for 1 year of the original purchase.
APC’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or
replacing, at APC’s sole option, any such defective products.
To obtain service under warranty, a Return Material
Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from APC
(www.apc.com, 800-800-4APC) or an APC service center.
The APC Travel Power 75 must be returned with an RMA
number accompanied by a brief description of the problem
and proof of date and place of purchase. The customer pays
shipping charges to APC. Shipping charges back to the
customer are paid by APC. This warranty applies only to the
original purchaser.
