The purpose of this document is to inform the consumer and retailer that the buffer
size on the 32K Serial (C823021) and Parallel (C823032) Interface Boards,
CANNOT be expanded. The current C323021 and C823032 User’s Manuals

indicate that the buffer CAN be increased and the current interface boards HAVE

sockets for additional RAM chips. However, any attempt to expand the buffer may

result in data loss. As of October 1991, all C823021 and C823032 interface boards
will be manufactured WITHOUT the RAM expansion sockets. Also, the C823032
and C823021 User’s Manuals will be amended to delete all references to expanding
the buffer size. Existing inventories ARE NOT being modified to reflect this change.
