Supplemental Information for CD-ROMs
This sheet contains supplemental information about the EPSON Stylus Scan
Software CD -ROM and other application software CD-ROMs. It is divided
into the following sections:
1. About the online manuals
2. Software Installation Instructions
The applications come with either an online manual or an introductory guide
that contains information you should read before installing the software.
An explanation of how to read PDF files is in “1. About the online manuals
for the software”. Please note that some of the software manuals include
instructions for the retail version of the software. There may be some minor
differences between the software described and what is on the CD-ROMs.
Please read “2. Software Installation Instructions” for supplemental
information about the installation procedure.

How to install Acrobat ® Reader
It is necessary to have Acrobat Reader installed to view a PDF file. Please
install

For Windows
Load the EPSON Stylus Scan Software CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive. Then
select Acrobat Reader to install it from the EPSON Software Setup which
starts automatically.
For Macintosh
1. Load the EPSON Stylus Scan Software CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive.

EPSON SMART PANEL (for Windows)

After the software has been installed, select the On-line Manual in the
EPSON SMART PANEL in the Start Menu in the lower left corner of the
Windows screen.
Presto! PageManager for EPSON (for Macintosh)

Insert the EPSON Stylus Scan Software CD-ROM into your CD-ROM
drive, and install Presto! PageManager. The user's guide for
PageManager, “PageManager User’s Manual”, appears in the "Presto!
PageManager for EPSON" folder.
2. Software Installation Instructions
The following instructions explain how to install the software included on
the EPSON Stylus Scan Software CD-ROM and other CD-ROMs. Installation
instructions are included in the software manuals or the affiliated online
guides. Be aware that some software manuals include instructions for the
retail version. There may be minor differences between the software
described and what is on this CD-ROM. If the instructions in the software
manual differ from the following, please follow the instructions below:
How to install software
Software on the EPSON Stylus Scan Software CD-ROM

Load the EPSON Stylus Scan Software CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive.
Then install the application using the EPSON Software Setup,which
starts automatically. For details, please see the
EPSON Scan! 2 is not installed by the EPSON Software Setup Utility.
Install it by the following method.
1. Load the EPSON Stylus Scan Software CD-ROM in the CD-ROM
drive to display the contents of the CD-ROM.
2. Double click on the Language folder under EPSCAN2 and open it,
then double click
