Point of Entry, Two Stage Cartridge Filtration Unit
Model: CS-BB-FUGAC200A-1 application for 3/4” to 1” lines
For any larger service lines - see the EWS or CWL Series of whole home water ltration for proper ow rates to the home and longevity of ltration media instead of routine lter cartridge replacements.
Point of entry cartridge ltration unit contains a string wound pre-sediment lter which prevents premature clogging and a Radial Flow Carbon post-lter. For the initial budget conscious consumer looking for the benets of water ltration throughout the home with yearly lter replacements**.
Improves taste, clarity and odor by removing chlorine and other volatile organic compounds. The 50 micron pre-sediment lter serves to remove suspended matter, dirt, rust and sediment and improves performance of the post-lter. Meets or complies with NSF Standard 42 and 61.

SET-UP, INSTALLATION OF UNIT & BYPASS AND START-UP:
(1) Shut off main water supply.
(2) Install at main, point of entry or designated water line using proper plumber supplied pipe, ttings,
unions and ball (shut-off) valves to the inlet, outlet and bypass of the unit.
(3) Install a bypass with proper ball valves before inlet and after outlet of unit and on bypassed line. (Note) Make sure unions are installed between the inlet and outlet of the unit and the installed ball valves for future unit servicing.
(4) Once unit installation and bypass is complete, open main water supply.
(5) Slowly open (less than 1/2 regular ow rate or less than 5 gpm) inlet of unit and close bypass. Keep outlet of
unit closed and allow unit to ll slowly. Check unit at inlet connections, housings, bracket and housing connections.
(6) Once lled, open inlet and outlet of unit completely. Check all connections.
(7) Flush unit of carbon nes. Find nearest faucet to the unit, remove aerator or any restriction, and open cold side
only. Allow carbon nes to ush through faucet until water runs clear. Open all faucets to clear air in lines.
(8) Afx a plumber service label or card on unit and record installation date. Leave this booklet and warranty booklet with unit and/or consumer. Replace lters up to one year after initial installation and/or at regular or needed intervals.**
