R66B Series non-connectorized quick-clip blocks
are designed for quick and easy termination of
solid insulated copper wire.

Description

The R66B Series non-connectorized quick-clip blocks are designed for quick and
easy termination of solid insulated copper wire. These blocks are available in
either 2, 25 or 50-pair count configurations, with common clip configurations of
either 3 or 6-clips.

Unstripped solid 20 to 26-gauge (.4 to .8 mm) conductors can be easily terminated
using an industry standard 714-type punch-down tool (Emerson R714B). Each block
is supplied with integral fanning strips molded on each side of the base, notched
every five rows to simplify pair identification.

The R66B Series blocks are available either with or without a housing. The gray
colored housings are manufactured of the same UL rated 94 V-0 impact-resistant
molded plastic as the blocks.

Application

R66B Series blocks are used in equipment rooms to cross-connect key telephone
and data equipment. They are also used in satellite closets, as well as office areas,
to provide daisy chains, star, or multiple connections.
