bitte lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch, bevor Sie Ihr Gerät ans Netz
anschließen, um Schäden durch nicht sachgemäßen Gebrauch zu vermeiden. Beachten Sie
besonders die Sicherheitshinweise. Sollten Sie dieses Gerät an Dritte weitergeben, muss
diese Bedienungsanleitung mit ausgehändigt werden.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

• Falsche Bedienung und unsachgemäße Behandlung können zu Störungen am Gerät und zu
Verletzungen des Benutzers führen.

• Das Gerät darf nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck benutzt werden. Bei nicht
bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch oder falscher Handhabung kann keine Haftung für evtl.
auftretende Schäden übernommen werden.

• Vor Anschluss ans Netz prüfen, ob Stromart und Netzspannung mit den Angaben auf dem
Typenschild am Gerät übereinstimmen.

• Gerät und Netzstecker nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten tauchen. Sollte das Gerät
dennoch einmal ins Wasser gefallen sein, sofort den Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät vor
erneutem Gebrauch von einem Fachmann überprüfen lassen. Es besteht Lebensgefahr

durch Stromschlag!

• Niemals selbst versuchen, das Gehäuse zu öffnen!

• Keinerlei Gegenstände in das Innere des Gehäuses führen.

• Das Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen, auf feuchtem Boden oder wenn es nass ist benutzen.

• Den Netzstecker nie mit nassen oder feuchten Händen anfassen.

• Netzkabel und Netzstecker regelmäßig auf evtl. Beschädigungen überprüfen. Im Falle von
Beschädigungen müssen Netzkabel und Netzstecker vom Hersteller bzw. einem
qualifizierten Fachmann ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

• Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen, wenn Netzkabel oder Netzstecker Schäden aufweisen
oder falls das Gerät auf den Boden gefallen sein sollte oder anderweitig beschädigt wurde. In
solchen Fällen das Gerät zur Überprüfung und evtl. Reparatur in die Fachwerkstatt bringen.

• Nie versuchen, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren. Es besteht Gefahr durch Stromschlag!

• Das Netzkabel nicht über scharfe Kanten hängen lassen und von heißen Gegenständen und
offenen Flammen fernhalten. Nur am Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.

• Einen zusätzlichen Schutz bietet der Einbau einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung mit einem
Nennauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA in der Hausinstallation. Lassen Sie sich von
Ihrem Elektroinstallateur beraten.

• Das Kabel sowie ein evtl. benötigtes Verlängerungskabel so verlegen, dass ein
unbeabsichtigtes Ziehen daran bzw. ein Darüberstolpern nicht möglich ist.

• Wird ein Verlängerungskabel benutzt, muss dieses für die entsprechende Leistung geeignet
sein, ansonsten kann es zu Überhitzung von Kabel und/oder Stecker kommen.

• Dieses Gerät ist weder für den gewerblichen Gebrauch noch für den Gebrauch im Freien
geeignet.

• Während des Gebrauchs das Gerät nie unbeaufsichtigt lassen.

•

• Vor Ziehen des Netzsteckers das Gerät ausschalten.

• Vorsicht! Das Gerät steht unter Strom solange es ans Stromnetz angeschlossen ist.

BESONDERE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

• Achtung! Das Gerät nicht bei Temperaturen unter 5 °C betreiben, um eine Eisbildung
innerhalb des Gerätes zu vermeiden.

• Um das Gerät muss zu allen Seiten ein Freiraum von 10 cm eingehalten werden.

• Beim Betrieb des Gerätes sollten Türen und Fenster geschlossen werden, um den besten
Nutzen aus dem Gerät zu ziehen.

• Das Gerät immer aufrecht betreiben.

• Das Gerät nach dem Transport oder wenn es geneigt wurde (z. B. bei der Reinigung) für
mindestens eine Stunde aufrecht stehen lassen, bevor es an das Stromnetz angeschlossen
wird.

• Die Lufteinlass- und Luftauslassöffnungen (5, 10) müssen immer frei gehalten werden.

• Das Gerät nur über den Drehregler HUMIDISTAT OFF/MAX (3) ein-/ausschalten, nie über
den Netzstecker.

• Bevor das Gerät bewegt wird, Gerät ausschalten, den Netzstecker ziehen und den
Wassertank leeren.

• Niemals Sprays oder andere entflammbare Reiniger auf das Gerät sprühen.

• Alle Verpackungsmaterialien entfernen.

• Das Gerät, wie unter

Reinigung und Pflege

beschrieben, reinigen.

• Wenn der mitgelieferte Aktiv-Kohlefilter verwendet
werden soll, den Wassertank (6) mit dem Griff an der
Unterseite des Wassertanks aus dem Gerät ziehen.

Filter reinigen

• Der Filter des Gerätes muss regelmäßig gereinigt werden. Nehmen Sie hierzu den
Wassertank ab und ziehen Sie den Filter heraus (s.

Vor erster Inbetriebnahme

).

• Plastikfilter: Den Plastikfilter vorsichtig ausklopfen oder mit einem Staubsauger absaugen.
Wenn der Filter sehr verschmutzt ist, den Filter in warmen Wasser mit einem schwachen
Reiniger auswaschen und trocknen. Setzen Sie den Filter erst wieder ein, wenn er komplett
trocken ist.

• Aktiv-Kohlefilter: Der Aktiv-Kohlefilter kann nicht gereinigt werden. Seine Lebensdauer
hängt von den Umgebungsbedingungen ab, aber er sollte alle 6 Monate überprüft werden.

• Zum Austauschen des Aktiv-Kohlefilters (zuschneidbare Filter sind z.B. in Baumärkten
erhältlich) nehmen Sie den Filterhalter ab und setzen Sie einen neuen Aktiv-Kohlefilter ein.
Den Filterhalter wieder einsetzen, dabei darauf achten, dass alle Haltenasen den Filterhalter
halten.

Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den normalen
Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden, sondern muss an einem Sammelpunkt für das
Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden. Das
Symbol auf dem Produkt, der Gebrauchsanleitung oder der Verpackung weist darauf
hin.

Vor Auslieferung werden unsere Geräte einer strengen Qualitätskontrolle unterworfen. Sollte
trotz aller Sorgfalt bei der Produktion oder beim Transport ein Schaden entstanden sein, bitten
wir Sie, das Gerät zu Ihrem Händler zurück zu bringen. Neben den gesetzlichen
Gewährleistungs-ansprüchen hat der Käufer nach seiner Wahl folgenden Garantieanspruch:
Für das gekaufte Gerät leisten wir 2 Jahre Garantie, beginnend mit dem Verkaufstag. In
diesem Zeitraum beseitigen wir kostenlos alle Mängel, die nachweislich auf Material- oder
Fabrikationsfehler zurückzuführen sind, durch Instandsetzung oder Umtausch. Mängel, die
infolge unsachgemäßer Behandlung des Gerätes und Fehler, die durch Eingriffe und
Reparaturen Dritter oder den Einbau fremder Teile entstehen, fallen nicht unter diese Garantie.

Anschließend den Filter nach unten herausziehen (siehe Abbildung).

• Den Filterhalter vom Filter abnehmen und den Aktiv-Kohlefilter einsetzen. Den Filterhalter
wieder einsetzen, dabei darauf achten, dass alle Haltenasen den Filterhalter halten.

• Den Filter soweit nach oben in das Gerät schieben bis er einrastet. Den Wassertank (6)
wieder einsetzen.

BEDIENUNG

• Das Gerät an einer möglichst zentralen Stelle oder gegebenenfalls an einer besonders
feuchten Stelle aufstellen.

• Netzstecker (8) mit einer Steckdose verbinden.

• Den Drehregler HUMIDISTAT OFF/MAX (3) auf die gewünschte Entfeuchtungsstufe
einstellen. Die Kontrollleuchte (1) leuchtet auf. Je weiter der Drehregler in Richtung MAX
gedreht wird, desto mehr Wasser wird der Luft entzogen. Sobald die Luftfeuchtigkeit unter
den eingestellten Wert sinkt, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus und die Kontrollleuchte

(1) erlischt.

• Wenn der Drehregler HUMIDISTAT OFF/MAX (3) auf MAX gestellt wird, läuft das Gerät
ununterbrochen.

• Das aus der Luft entzogene Wasser wird im Wassertank (6) gesammelt. Wenn der
Wassertank voll ist bzw. nicht richtig in das Gerät eingesetzt ist, leuchtet die Kontrollleuchte

(2) auf.

• Das Gerät ist mit einem 2-stufigen Ventilator ausgestattet. Zum normalem Betrieb den Schalter

/ (4) in die Stellung schalten. Falls ein leiserer Betrieb erforderlich ist, den Schalter
/ (4) in die Stellung schalten.

• Um das Gerät auszuschalten, den Drehregler HUMIDISTAT OFF/MAX (3) auf OFF stellen.

Entleeren des Wassertanks

• Wenn der Wassertank voll ist bzw. nicht richtig in das Gerät eingesetzt ist, leuchtet die
Kontrollleuchte (2) auf.

• Zum Entleeren den Wassertank (6) mit dem Griff an der Unterseite des Wassertank aus dem
Gerät ziehen.

• Den Wassertank entleeren und wieder in das Gerät einsetzen. Nach dem Einsetzen muss
die Kontrollleuchte (2) erlöschen, das Gerät ist jetzt wieder betriebsbereit.

Stetiger Abfluss

Wenn das Gerät bei sehr hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit betrieben wird, muss der Wassertank sehr
häufig geleert werden. Um das zu vermeiden, kann das Gerät an einen Abfluss angeschlossen
werden.

• Das Gerät ausschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen.

• Den Gummistopfen aus der Abwasseröffnung (9) herausziehen. Den Gummistopfen für eine
spätere Verwendung gut aufbewahren.

• Einen Abwasserschlauch (nicht mitgeliefert) mit einen Innendurchmesser von 6 mm an die
Abwasseröffnung (9) anschließen.

• Es muss sichergestellt sein, dass das Wasser gut abfließen kann. Bei kaltem Wetter müssen
Maßnahmen getroffen werden, damit der Abwasserschlauch nicht einfriert.

• Um das Gerät wieder ohne Abfluss zu betreiben, den Abwasserschlauch entfernen und den
Gummistopfen wieder in die Abwasseröffnung (9) einsetzen.

REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

• Das Gerät regelmäßig mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen.

• Keine scheuernden Reinigungsmittel oder harte Reinigungsutensilien benutzen.

Dear customer,
Please read these Operating Instructions through carefully before connecting your device to
the mains, in order to avoid damage due to incorrect use. Please pay particular attention to the
safety information. If you pass the device on to a third party, these Operating Instructions must
also be handed over.

SAFETY TIPS

• Wrong operation and improper handling can cause problems with the appliance and injury to
the user.

• The unit may be used only for the intended purposes. No liability is accepted for damages
arising from improper use or faulty handling.

• Before connecting to the mains, please check whether the type of supply and the mains
voltage match with the details given on the nameplate on the inner unit.

• Do not immerse the appliances and mains plug in water or other fluids. Should the appliance
still fall in water some time, pull out the power plug immediately and have the appliance
checked by an expert before using it again. There is danger to life from electrical shock!

• Do not try to open the appliance casing yourself!

• Do not introduce any kind of objects into the appliance casing.

• Do not use the appliances with wet hands, on moist floor or when the ambience is humid.

• Do not hold the mains plug with wet or moist hands.

• Check the mains plug and mains adapter regularly for damages. In case of damages, have
the power cord and mains plug changed by the manufacturer, or a qualified expert, in order
to avoid danger.

• Do not operate the appliance, if power cable or the mains plug shows damage or the unit
falls to the floor or has been damaged otherwise. In such cases, bring the unit to the
workshop for checking and repairs, if necessary.

• Do not ever try to repair the appliance yourselves. There is danger from electrical shock!

• Do not let the power cord hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and
open flames. Pull the plug itself to remove it from the plug socket.

• Installation of a leakage current protector unit will offer additional protection with a nominal
release current of not more than 30 mA in the house installation. Please consult your
installing electrician.

• The cable as well any extension cable required should be laid such that there will not be any
risk of anyone tugging on it inadvertently or tripping over it.

• If an extension cable is used, it must be suitable for the power, otherwise it can cause
overheating of the cable and/ or the plug.

• This appliance is suitable neither for commercial use nor for use outdoors.

• Do not let the unit run unsupervised, while it is operating.

•

Switch the appliance off before disconnecting from the mains.

• Caution! The appliance is on power so long as it is connected to the power circuit.

SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Caution! Do not operate the dehumidifier at temperatures lower than 5 °C in order to avoid
the ice formation in the interior of the device.

• Keep a free space of 10 cm around the device.

• Doors and windows should be closed while the device is running in order to use the device
at the highest level.

• Always operate the device in upright position.

• Let the device in upright position after transport or when it has been inclined (e. g. during
cleaning) for at least an hour before you connect it to the power supply system.

• Always keep the air intakes and the air exhausts (5, 10) clean.

• Connect and disconnect the device by means of the regulator HUMIDISTAT OFF/MAX (3)
only, never connect it by means of the power plug.

• Before moving it, disconnect the device, pull out the power plug and empty the water tank.

• Never squirt sprays or other flammable cleaning agents on the device.

BEFORE OPENING

• Remove all packing materials.

• Clean the device as described in

Cleaning and care

.

• When you must use the provided active carbon filter
remove the water tank (6) with the grip underside the
water tank from the device. Then pull the filter
downwards (see figure).

• Detach the filter retainer from the filter and insert the
active carbon filter. Reinsert the filter retainer and make sure that all retaining collars hold the
filter retainer.

• Push the filter upwards in the device until it locks in place. Reinsert the water tank (6).

HANDLING

• Install the device in a place as central as possible or, if necessary, in a particularly humid
place.

• Stick the power plug (8) into the socket.

• Turn the regulator HUMIDISTAT OFF/MAX (3) on the dehumidifying level you want. The
control lamp (1) lights up. The farther you turn the regulator in the direction MAX, the
more water will be removed from the air. As soon as the air humidity decreases under the
selected value, the dehumidifier shuts down automatically and the control lamp (1)
extinguishes.

• If you turn the regulator HUMIDISTAT OFF/MAX (3) on position MAX, the device will run
continuously.

• The water removed from air will be collected in the water tank (6). In case the water tank is
full respectively in case it is improperly inserted in the device, the control lamp (2) lights
up.

• The device is provided with a 2-phase ventilator. During normal operating turn the switch /

(4) in the position . In case a lower operating is required, turn the switch / (4) in

the position .

• In order to shut down the device turn the regulator HUMIDISTAT OFF/MAX (3) on position

OFF.

Emptying the water tank

• In case the water tank is full respectively in case it is improperly inserted in the device, the
control lamp (2) lights up.

• For emptying remove the water tank (6) with the grip underside the water tank from the
device.

• Empty the water tank and reinsert it in the device. After reinserting the control lamp (2)
must extinguish, the device is now ready for use.

Continuous drainage

In case the device will be operated in very high air humidity conditions, the water tank must be
emptied very often. In order to avoid this, the device can be connected to a drainage system.

• Turn the device off and pull out the power plug.

• Remove the rubber stopper from the water disposal opening (9). Keep the rubber stopper for
future use.

• Connect a water disposal tube (not provided) with an inside diameter of 6 mm to a water
disposal opening (9).

• Make sure that water runs off properly. Under wintry weather conditions you must take
actions in order to keep the water disposal tube unfrozen.

• In order to operate the device without drainage again, remove the water disposal tube and
reinsert the rubber stopper in the water disposal opening (9).

CLEANING AND CARE

• It is essential to observe also the

• Before cleaning turn off the device and empty the water tank.

• Wipe regularly the device with a wet cloth.

• Do not use any scrubbing cleaning materials or hard cleaning tools.

• It is forbidden to use gas or solvent cleaning substances for cleaning.

Filter cleaning

• The filter of the device must be cleaned regularly. Remove the water tank and pull out the
filter (see

Before opening

).

• Plastic filter: Beat the plastic filter carefully or clean it with the vacuum cleaner. In case the

filter is very dirty, wash the filter in warm water using a mild cleaning agent and dry it.
Reinsert the filter only when it is completely dry.

• Active carbon filter: The active carbon filter can not be cleaned. Its useful life depends on

the environmental conditions, but it should be proved every 6 months.

• To replace the active charcoal filter (sliceable filters are available in home improvement
stores, for example) remove the filter holder and insert the new active charcoal filter. Replace
the filter holder while making sure that all of the retaining collars are holding the filter holder.

Before delivery our devices are subjected to rigorous quality control. If, despite all care,
damage has occurred during production or transportation, please return the device to your
dealer. In addition to statutory legal rights, the purchaser has an option to claim under the
terms of the following guarantee:
For the purchased device we provide 2 years guarantee, commencing from the day of sale.
During this period we will remedy all defects free of charge, which can be demonstrably
attributed to material or manufacturing defects, by repair or exchange.
Defects which arise due to improper handling of the device and malfunctions due to
interventions and repairs by third parties or the fitting of non-original parts, are not covered by
this guarantee.

INFORMATIONS CONCERNANT LA SÉCURITÉ

• Une mauvaise utilisation ou manipulation peut engendrer un dysfonctionnement de l’appareil
et blesser l’utilisateur.

• Ne pas utiliser l’appareil à d'autres fins que celles pour lesquelles il a été conçu. Nous
déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dommages occasionnés par une utilisation non
conforme aux prescriptions ou une mauvaise manipulation.

• Avant de procéder au branchement électrique, vérifier si la nature du courant et la tension
correspondent aux indications figurant sur la plaque signalétique de l'unité intérieure.

• Ne pas plonger les appareils et la prise de courant dans l‘eau ou tout autre liquide. Si les
appareils devaient tomber accidentellement dans l'eau, débrancher immédiatement la prise
de courant et faire contrôler les appareils par un spécialiste avant de les réutiliser. Il y a

risque d'électrocution!

• Ne jamais essayer d’ouvrir soi-même le boîtier des appareils !

• Ne jamais introduire d’objets à l’intérieur des appareils.

• Ne pas utiliser les appareils avec des mains mouillées, si vous vous trouvez sur un sol
mouillé ou lorsqu'il fait humide.

• Ne jamais toucher la prise de courant avec des mains mouillées ou humides.

• Vérifier régulièrement l'état du fil électrique et de la prise de courant. En cas de dommages,
le fil électrique et la prise de courant doivent être remplacés par le fabricant ou un spécialiste
afin d'éviter tout danger.

• Ne pas utiliser l’appareil si le fil électrique ou la prise de courant présentent des dommages,
si l'appareil est tombé par terre ou s’il a été endommagé d’une manière quelconque. Dans
ces cas de figure, faire vérifier et éventuellement réparer l’appareil par un spécialiste.

• Ne jamais essayer de réparer soi-même l’appareil. Il y a risque d'électrocution!

• Ne pas suspendre le fil électrique à un rebord coupant et le tenir éloigné des objets chauds
et des flammes ouvertes. Pour procéder au débranchement, tirer uniquement au niveau de
la fiche électrique.

• L'installation dans l'habitation d'un disjoncteur de sécurité d'une intensité de déclenchement
maximale de 30 mA apporte une protection supplémentaire. Demandez conseil à votre
installateur électrique.

• Disposer le câble et l'éventuelle rallonge de manière à éviter que l'on ne tire ou trébuche
dessus par inadvertance.

• Si vous utilisez une rallonge, veillez à ce qu'elle soit adaptée à la puissance correspondante.
Sinon, cela pourrait engendrer une surchauffe du câble et/ou de la prise.

• Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour une utilisation commerciale ou en plein air.

• Ne pas laisser l'appareil sans surveillance lorsqu'il est en cours d'utilisation.

• Les enfants ne connaissent pas les dangers liés à une utilisation mal appropriée des
appareils électriques. C’est pourquoi il ne faut jamais laisser un enfant utiliser sans
surveillance un appareil électrique.

• Arrêtez/éteignez l'appareil avant de le débrancher du secteur.

• Attention! L'appareil reste sous tension tant qu'il est relié au réseau électrique.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ PARTICULIÈRES

• Attention! Ne pas utiliser l'appareil si la température est inférieure à 5°C afin d'éviter la
formation de glace dans l'appareil.

• Respecter un espace libre de 10 cm tout autour de l'appareil.

• En cours d'utilisation, fermer les portes et les fenêtres afin d'obtenir le meilleur de l'appareil.

• L'appareil doit toujours rester droit lorsqu'il fonctionne.

• En cas de transport ou d'inclinaison de l'appareil (lors de son nettoyage par ex.), le laisser
droit durant une heure minimum avant de le brancher.

• Les orifices d'entrée et de sortie d'air (5, 10) ne doivent en aucun cas être obstruées.

• Allumer/éteindre l'appareil en utilisant le bouton rotatif HUMIDISTAT OFF/MAX (3) et jamais
en le débranchant.

• Avant de bouger l'appareil, l'arrêter, débrancher la prise de courant et vider le réservoir.

• Ne jamais utiliser d'aérosols ou d'autres produits de nettoyage inflammables en direction de
l'appareil.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE MISE EN MARCHE

• Retirer tous les emballages.

• Nettoyer l‘appareil conformément à la description faite
dans la partie

Nettoyage et entretien

.

• Pour utiliser le filtre à charbon actif fourni, retirer le
réservoir (6) de l'appareil à l'aide de la poignée située
sous le réservoir.
