EINSETZEN DER BATTERIEN

KUNDENINFORMATION: ADRESSE BITTE AUFBEWAHREN.

Das Batteriefach befindet sich auf der Geräterückseite.

• Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach (siehe Anleitung auf der Geräterückseite).

• Setzen Sie 4 x C (UM-2) Batterien ein, wie im Batteriefach dargestellt (nicht mitgeliefert).

• Achten Sie bitte auf die Polarität.

• Achtung!!! Verkehrt eingesetzte Batterien können zu Beschädigungen des Geräts führen.

Hinweis:

Bitte achten Sie auf die und Pole der Batterien.
Bei verkehrt eingesetzten Batterien funktioniert das Gerät nicht.
Verringert sich die Lautstärke oder erscheint der Klang verzerrt, dann sind die Batterien erschöpft.
Tauschen Sie alle vier Batterien gleichzeitig aus.
Entnehmen Sie die Batterien, wenn das Gerät für einen längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt wird
(einige Wochen), um ein Auslaufen zu vermeiden.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE ZUR BENUTZUNG VON BATTERIEN

• Mischen Sie keine alten und neuen Batterien.

• Mischen Sie keine Alkali- und Standard (Zink / Kohle) Batterien und Akkus.

• Batterien dürfen nicht aufgeladen werden.

• Akkus zum Laden aus dem Kassettengerät entnehmen.

• Akkus nur unter Aufsicht Erwachsener laden.

• Nur Batterien gleicher Bauart wie empfohlen benutzen.

• Batterien mit der korrekten Polarität einsetzen.

• Erschöpfte Batterien aus dem Kassettengerät entnehmen.

• Batteriepole nicht kurzschließen.

BEDIENUNGSHINWEISE

• Öffnen Sie das Kassettenfach mit der Auswurftaste.

• Legen Sie eine Kassette mit der abzuspielenden Seite nach rechts ein.

• Schließen Sie das Kassettenfach.

• Stellen Sie die Lautstärke ein.

• Ihnen stehen folgende Funktionen zur Verfügung:
EJECT: Kassette auswerfen.
STOP: Anhalten der Wiedergabe.
FAST FORWARD: Schnelle Vorwärtssuche auf der Kassette.
PLAY: Abspielen der Kassette.

• Während der Wiedergabe schieben Sie den EIN / AUS-Schalter des Mikrofons auf ON und
können nun zur Kassette mitsingen. Musik und Gesang werden gleichzeitig über die
Lautsprecher übertragen.

• Am Ende der Kassette drücken Sie STOP zum Ausschalten des Geräts.

geeignet. Vorsicht mit Kleinteilen und
Batterien, nicht in den Mund nehmen, das ist
gesundheitsschädlich. Kleinteile und
Batterien kindersicher aufbewahren.

REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

• Gerät nur mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen.

• Keine Scheuermittel benutzen.

• Entnehmen Sie die Batterien, wenn das Gerät für einen längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt wird, um
ein Auslaufen zu vermeiden.

Um das Kassettengerät in gutem Zustand zu halten, müssen Tonkopf und Andruckrollen regelmäßig
gereinigt werden. Hier sammeln sich während des Betriebs Staub und Abrieb vom Tonband an.
Regelmäßige Reinigung etwa alle 10 Betriebsstunden lässt diese Verunreinigungen nicht zum
Problem werden.

1. Batterien entnehmen.

2. Kassettenfach öffnen.

3. Staub auf Tonkopf und Andruckrollen mit Q-Tip und etwas Alkohol entfernen.

4. Batterien zurücksetzen und Kassettenfach wieder schließen.

Sie können ebenfalls eine Reinigungskassette benutzen (nicht mitgeliefert). Sie wird wie eine
normale Kassette eingelegt. Mit PLAY lassen Sie das Reinigungsband durchlaufen. Prüfen Sie den
Tonkopf anschließend auf Sauberkeit.

Dispose batteries environmentally acceptable

Batteries do not belong into the domestic waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the
applicable collection points for used batteries. Never throw batteries into the fire.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Keep the device away from water and moisture such as bathtubs, shower areas or even persons
taking a bath! Such situations constitute a DANGER TO LIFE through electric shock.

Only connect the device to a properly installed wall outlet. Ensure that the rated voltage corresponds
with the mains power.

When using external mains supply, ensure correct polarity and voltage. Always place the batteries in
the correct direction (refer to the information in the battery compartment).

Use the device in such way that ventilation openings and the unit are not covered.

Never open the housing of the device. Incorrect repairs can constitute a considerable risk for the

HOW TO INSERT BATTERIES

CUSTOMER INFORMATION: PLEASE KEEP ADDRESS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

The battery compartment is located on the back of the device.

• Open the battery compartment (as indicated on the back of the device).

• Insert 4 x size C batteries as shown inside the compartment (batteries are not included).

• Pay attention to the battery polarity.

• Attention!!! Incorrectly inserted batteries may damage the device.

Note:

Observe carefully the and poles of the batteries.
If the batteries are not installed correctly the set will not work.
If the sound becomes weak and unclear, the batteries may be exhausted.
Replace all four batteries at the same time.
Remove the batteries if the unit is not to be used for a longer period of time
(a few weeks or more) to prevent battery leakage and possible damage to the unit.

PRECAUTIONS FOR BATTERY USE

• Do not mix old and new batteries.

• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (Nickel-Cadmium) batteries.

• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged (if removable).

• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision (if removable).

• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.

• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.

• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.

• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

USING THE DEVICE

• Open the cassette door by pressing the eject button.

• Insert a cassette with the side to be played facing right.

• Close the cassette door.

• Set the desired volume with the volume knob.

• The following functions can be activated:
EJECT button: Ejects the cassette.
STOP button: Stops the playback.
FAST FORWARD button: Fast forward search.
PLAY button: Plays the cassette.

• While a cassette is playing, slide the switch on the microphone to ON position. Now you can sing
along while the music is playing. Your voice and the music are playing simultaneously through
the loudspeakers.

• Once the cassette is finished, press the STOP button. The player will stop and the device is
switched off.

Note:

If the PLAY button does not latch when pressed, check to be sure the cassette is not at the end of
the tape.
Pressing STOP stops playback of the cassette.

Warning! Not suitable for children under 3
years. Beware of small pieces and batteries;
do not swallow. It may be hazardous to your
health. Keep small parts and batteries out of
the reach of children.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Clean the device only with a moist cloth.

• Do not use abrasive detergents.

• If the device is not used for a longer periods remove the batteries from the battery compartment
to avoid battery leakage.

To maintain your cassette player in high performance, head, capstan and pinch roller should be
cleaned periodically. They pick up dirt and residue from cassette tapes during normal operation.
Cleaning after approximately every 10 hours of operation will minimize this problem.

1. Remove batteries.

2. Open cassette door.

3. Remove dust on head, capstan and pinch roller with a cotton swab dampened with alcohol.

4. Replace batteries and battery compartment door.

Cleaning cassettes are commercially available (not included). These are inserted like a common
cassette. The PLAY button is depressed and the tape will play through its cycle. The heads should
still be inspected as described above to see that they have been properly cleaned.

Ne gênez pas la ventilation du dispositif. Assurez-vous que rideaux, journaux,

La ventilation doit être assurée à tout moment! La surchauffe peut causer à l’appareil
des dommages sérieux et réduire sa performance et sa durée de vie.

Chaleur

Ne pas exposer le lecteur à la lumière directe du soleil ni à des sources de chaleur
tellels que radiateurs ou flammes. S’assurer que les ouvertures de ventilation ne sont
pas bloquées.

Ce lecteur n’est pas étanche. Ne pas le mettre en contact avec de l’eau. Nettoyer
uniquement avec un chiffon légèrement humide. Ne pas utiliser d’agents nettoyant
contenant de l’alcool, de l’ammoniac, du benzène ou des éléments abrasifs.

Le compartiment à piles est situé à l'arrière de l'appareil.

• Ouvrez le compartiment à piles (comme indiqué à l'arrière de l'appareil).

• Insérez 4 piles de type C comme représenté à l'intérieur du compartiment (les pile ne sont pas
inclues).

• Faites attention à la polarité des piles.

• Attention!!! Des piles insérées incorrectement peuvent endommager l'appareil.

Note:

Faites attention aux pôles et des piles.
Si les piles ne sont pas installées correctement, le combiné ne fonctionnera pas.
Si le son devient faible et pas clair, les piles peuvent être épuisées.
Changez les quatre piles en même temps.
Retirez les piles si l'appareil n'est pas utilisé pendant une période prolongée (quelques semaines ou
plus) pour éviter des fuites et d'éventuels dégats à l'appareil.

PRÉCAUTIONS D'UTILISATION POUR LES PILES

• Ne mélangez pas de vieilles piles avec des neuves.

• Ne mélangez pas les piles alcalines, standard (carbone-zinc) ou rechargeables
(Nickel-Cadmium).

• Les piles non-rechargeables ne sont pas conçues pour être rechargées.

• Les piles rechargeables doivent être retirées du jouet avant d'être chargées (si retirables).

• Les piles rechargeables doivent être chargées sous la surveillance d'un adulte (si retirables).

• Seules les piles de même type devraient être utilisées.

• Les piles doivent être insérées avec la bonne polarité.

• Les piles épuisées doivent être retirées du jouet.

• Les bornes d'alimentation ne doivent pa être court-circuitées.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

• Nettoyez l'appareil uniquement avec un chiffon humide.

• N'utilisez pas de nettoyants abrasifs.

• Si vous n'utilisez pas l'appareil pendant un certain temps, retirez les piles du compartiment à
piles pour éviter des fuites.

Pour maintenir votre lecteur de cassette à hautes performances, la tête, le cabestan et le rouleau de
pincement devraient être nettoyés périodiquement. Ils prennent la saleté et le résidu des bandes des
cassettes pendant l'utilisation normale.
Nettoyez après approximativement 10 heures d'utilisation minimisera ce problème.

1. Retirez les piles.

2. Ouvrez le porte-cassette.

3. Retirez la poussière sur la tête, le cabestan et le rouleau de pincement avec un coton-tige imbibé
d'alcool.

4. Replacez les piles et le capot du compartiment à piles.

Des cassettes nettoyantes sont disponibles dans le commerce (non incluse). Elles se positionnent
comme des cassettes normales. La touche PLAY est enfoncée et la cassette sera lue. Les têtes
devraient être inspectées comme décrit ci-dessus pour vérifier si elles ont été correctement
nettoyées.

UTILISER L'APPAREIL

• Ouvrez le porte-cassette en appuyant sur la touche EJECT.

• Insérez une cassette avec la face que vous voulez écouter vers la droite.

• Fermez le porte-cassette.

• Réglez le volume grâce au bouton volume.

• Les fonctions suivantes peuvent être activées:
Touche EJECT : ÉJECTE la cassette.
Touche STOP : Arrête la lecture.
Touche FAST FORWARD : Recherche en avance rapide.
Touche PLAY : Lit la cassette.

• Pendant que la cassette est lue, faites passer l'interrupteur coulissant du microphone sur la
position 'ON'. Maintenant, vous pouvez chanter pendant que vous écoutez la musique. Votre
voix et la musique seront audibles simultanément grâce au haut parleur.

• Lorsque la cassette est finie, appuyez sur la touche STOP. Le lecteur s'arrêtera et l'appareil se
mettra hors tension.

Note:

Si la touche PLAY ne se verrouille pas lorsqu'elle est enfoncée, vérifiez que la cassette n'est pas en
fin de bande. Appuyez sur la touche STOP pour arrêter la lecture de la cassette.

ATTENTION:

SI VOUS VOULEZ UTILISER UN ADAPTATEUR SECTEUR AU LIEU DE PILES,VOUS DEVEZ
POSSÉDER UN ADAPTATEUR (NON INCLUS) QUI PEUT ALIMENTER EN COURANT CONTINU
UNE TENSION DE 6 VOLT AVEC UN COURANT DE 300mA ET EN ACCORD AVEC LA NORME 15
DE LA CEE.
IL EST IMPORTANT DE RECHERHER RÉGULIÈREMENT TOUTE SORTE D'ENDOMMAGEMENT
DU CORDON, DU CÂBLE, DE LA PRISE OU DES AUTRES PIÈCES DE L'ADAPTATEUR POUR
ÉVITER TOUT DANGER POTENTIEL.

BRANCHEZ TOUJOURS L'ADAPTATEUR AU LECTEUR DE CASSETTE EN PREMIER ET
ENSUITE À LA PRISE MURALE. VÉRIFIEZ QUE LES POLARITÉS DE LA BROCHE DE SORTIE
DE L'ADAPTATEUR CORRESPONDE AU LECTEUR DE CASSETTE.

Attention: Lorsque vous utilisez un adaptateur, un adulte devrait toujours brancher le transformateur.

Si vous avez un doute consultez votre revendeur ou le personnel d'entretien qualifié.

ATTENTION: NE CONVIENT PAS À UN ENFANT DE MOINS DE 3 ANS À CAUSE DES PETITES PIÈCES.

JOUETS AVEC TRANFORMATEUR :

Le jouet n'est pas prévu pour un enfant de moins de 3 ans.
N'utilisez le jouet qu'avec le transformateur recommandé.
Le transformateur n'est pas un jouet.
Des jouets destinés à être nettoyés avec des produits liquides doivent être débranchés du
transformateur avant le nettoyage.
