Perimeter Ventilation Creates 40% More Power without Using More Energy

Our Puccini and Umbria hoods feature an innovative “face board” placed over the lter and blower. Airow into the ventilation system is

intentionally restricted...directed around the perimeter of the face board. This actually increases suction power by 40% without increas-

ing blower speed, which would increase energy consumption. And the aerodynamic shape and position of the face board produces less

turbulence and noise than traditional ventilation systems.

Ducted and Recirculating Systems

Most Elica kitchen ventilation products are designed as

Ducted Systems

through a grease lter and then vented through a duct, directly

into the outside air. This is the most powerful and eective

ventilation method. Our one-way no-return valve, standard on

all models, eliminates outside air drafts.

Filter Options

Most Elica Ventilation Systems are equipped

with dishwasher-safe Anodized Aluminum

Mesh Filters to capture grease particles owing

These lters are more durable than traditional aluminum

mesh lters. Plus the stainless steel frame and grid

Hole or Stainless Steel Bae Slot

Filters, which are standard equipment or available as an accessory on

most models. The Patented micro hole technology within holds larger

quantities of grease and captures with higher eciency, without aecting

blower performance or noise levels. The lters are more durable and the

lever latches make lter removal and cleaning a snap. The shiny decorative

micro hole pattern or semi-pro slot design enhance hood appearance.

When installation of a ducted system is not possible or

cost-eective, most Elica models can also operate as a

Recirculating System

grease and charcoal lters, which remove grease, moisture,

smoke and odors. The “puried” air is then recirculated back into

the kitchen, instead of being vented outside.

Wall Mount CHIMNEY HOODS

Elica oers a particularly broad selection of wall mount chimney hoods and we should, since

we invented the design back in 1987. From contemporary design splashes to simple classics,

Elica has the style, features and performance to complement any kitchen.

Striking designs like Puccini and Tiziano provide a centerpiece for the contemporary kitchen

and at the same time perform at a very high level. Como and Siracusa both incorporate an

element of glass, which resemble wings and provide a light and airy breeze in the kitchen.

Minimalist, low prole tapered shapes found in Mezzano and Lugano are both artistic and

loaded with valuable features. And if traditional is on the menu, the choices are wide ranging,

from the classic chimneys of Varna and Pilato to the bold lines of Rimini and Calabria.
