OmniMantle MKII Quick Start Guide. M7892 iss 2.2.

Set-Up

Place the Dry Block or Mantle into the
Omnimantle ensuring the connection plug and socket align. (Fig 1).

(Fig 1).



Place the Omnimantle in its required location. Insert the mains lead into the
socket. (Fig 2)

(Ensure the correct voltage).

Place charged glassware into the Mantle.



(If required). Fit Reflux Unit over the Dry Block with glassware protruding
through the ports. Fit Reflux caps and connect the purge tubing.

Refer to operator guide for reflux use.

Turn on the Omnimantle by pressing the I/O switch on the front of the unit.

After ‘Power –on’ the keyboard will illuminate and the front screen will perform
a ‘self-check’ before displaying the module type fitted. (Fig3 ). Press the

key to enter the main menu.
The LCD display menu on front screen will show the current operating

condition. (Fig4).

Set Temperature.

 Touch the left hand key zone button

to move into temperature

selection mode.

The following display will be seen

 Touch the right hand key zone button

to activate the temperature selection

mode.

The following display will be seen

 Touch the left or right hand

key zone buttons to
move the display curser to select
a change in the hundreds, tens or
unit temperature values.

Touch the up and down key
zones buttons to select the
temperature value.

Continue pressing right button to
return to front screen menu.

 With the desired temperature set,

touch the ‘heater on’ key zone
button.

(The key zone symbol will now flash
red to show the heating function is
operational, once the set temperature is
reached flashing will stop and the key
will remain illuminated red).

To turn off the heating facility, touch
the temperature key zone once any
time during operation.

Set Stir speed

 From the front screen menu, touch
the right hand key zone button to

move into the speed selection mode.

The following display will be seen

Touch the right hand key zone button

to activate the agitation speed

selection.

The following display will be seen

 Touch the left or right hand

key zone buttons to
move the display curser to select

a change in the 100’s or 10’s

agitation values.

Touch the up and down key
zones buttons to select the
agitation value.

Continue pressing right button to
return to front screen menu.

 With the desired agitation speed set,

touch the ‘speed on’ key zone
button.

(The key zone symbol will now
flash red to show the agitation function is
operational, once the set speed is
reached flashing will stop and the key
will remain illuminated red).

To turn off the agitation facility, touch
the speed key zone once any time
during operation.
