2 length folds (longitudinal) and 1 cross fold (transversal).

Production:

! Hourly production: More than 1000 items, according

to selected model, items’ dimensions and operator’s skill. Type of items: Medium-size and small flat items

(Minimum dimensions: 500 x 500 mm and maximum: 1200 x 1800 mm)

Operation:

! FLAP-FOLDER makes “Trad itional” fol ding (1/2 + 1/2)

of terry towels or similar items (terry towel, bathmat, hand towel etc.). Items are manually feed on the conveyor belts and

transfer directly to the folding system. Each item will get 2 length folds and one cross fold.

! Folding section are divided as fo llow:

- Length folding: done by air jets between reverse rotating rollers.

- Cross folding: carried out by air blasts between reversing conveyors.

! Items dimensions after folding : from 250 x 250 mm to

600 x 450 mm.

Features:

! Automatic lateral stacker for folded items. Pre-

selected number of stacked items and conveyor belts for front or back delivery (under request).

! Robust steel chassis. ! Feeder and conveyor belts. ! Transmission done by asynchronous motor

managed by frequency control and electromagnetic clutches. Electrical and pneumatic connections done

according to CE standard.

! Easy to use control system managing up to 20

folding programs. Automatic selection of folding programs.

Automatic torn/dirty item rejection.

! Buzzer and flashing light alarms in case of jam. ! Right or left hand side exit of folded items.
