• If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
• WARNING: Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle.
• WARNING: Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
• The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.
• CAUTION: Insure that the kettle is switched off before removing it from its stand.
• The appliance must not be immersed.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
• Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.

• Be careful when opening the lid immediately after the water has boiled, the steam coming out of the kettle is very hot constituting a risk of scalding.
• Make sure the bottom of the kettle and the power base are dry before placing the kettle onto the power base.

Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 to 3 times following the instructions below. This will remove any dust or residues remaining from the manufacturing process.

Place the power base on a dry, flat and stable surface. |

Open the lid by pressing the lid release button. |

Fill the kettle with cold water up to the MAX 1.0L marking. |

Close the lid by pressing it down until it clicks into place. |

Place the kettle on the power base and insert the plug into the mains socket. |

Press the power switch. The water is being heated. |

The indicator light on the power switch will illuminate. |

The kettle will switch off automatically when the water has boiled. |

You can stop the boiling process by setting the power switch to the 0 (Off) position. |

Lift the kettle from the power base and then slowly pour the boiling water. |

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ IMPORTANTES

•L’utilisation d’accessoires autres que ceux recommandés par le fabricant peut être à l’origine d’un incendie, de blessures ou de chocs électriques.
•Ne pas utiliser en extérieur.
•Les jets de vapeur sont très chauds et constituent un risque de brûlure, faites très attention lors de l'ouverture du couvercle une fois l'eau portée à ébullition.
•Avant de mettre la bouilloire sur son socle, assurez-vous que le dessous de la bouilloire et le socle lui-même sont secs.
