TUBE DISTORTION/SUSTAINER

-OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS-

The Hot Tubes is the most extreme Tube Distortion/Sustainer ever
developed for the electric guitar. From the classic sweet sustain of the Big
Muff Pi to searing tube-driven screams, the Hot Tubes delivers the finest in
distortion and sustain. Hot Tubes uses two premium 12AX7WB vacuum
tubes.

Your Hot Tubes comes with a 12V AC/1000mA adaptor. Only use the
supplied adaptor. Using any other adaptor can cause harm to you and the
Hot Tubes.

WARNING: There are extremely high voltages in the Hot Tubes
even when it is unplugged.

DO NOT OPEN UP THE HOT TUBES!

Some things to keep in mind when experimenting with Hot Tubes:

Due to the high gain of the filter circuit, in certain positions the Bass and
Treble knobs will cause the Hot Tubes to oscillate or feedback. If this
happens, adjust the treble knob or the Bass knob. This is the way the unit is
designed and enables you to get the over-the-top tones that makes the Hot
Tubes unique.

Also, the controls are extremely interactive and sensitive – slight changes in
a knobs position can produce radically different tone.

MASTER- Sets output level.

GAIN- Adjusts the gain of the input signal. Turning this knob clockwise will

increase distortion.

Again, these oscillation points are NOT defects.

-CONTROLS-

DRIVE- Adjusts the amount of overdrive. Turning this knob clockwise will

give you even more distortion. Volume will decrease, as the Drive control is
turned clockwise past 12 o’clock.

BASS- Adjusts the low-end response. Turning this knob clockwise will
increase the low end.

TREBLE- Adjusts the high-end response. Turning this knob clockwise will
increase high end.
