4-1 Test Equipment Needed
- PC support HDTV resolution & Independent graphic card
- Blue- ray DVD player support “S-Video”,“3D source files”,”HDMI” and “Video”
- Minolta CL-200
- Quantum Data 802B or CHROMA2327 (Color Video Signal & Pattern Generator)
4-2 Test Condition

Circumstance brightness: Dark room less than 2 lux.
- Product must be warmed up for 3 minutes.
- Screen size: 60 inches diagonal.

4-3 Auto Waveform and Fan Calibration
After replacing main board, fan, or upgrading the firmware, please follow steps as below:
1.Hold “power”key, then Plug in the power cord.Plug in the power cord.
2.Release the “power” key until the “power” LED flashed red 2s to enter into auto waveform fan calibration.
3.When waveform download and Fan calibration is complete,the projector power on automatically.
Note:- If the factory fan value don’t show in service mode, please repeat the step 1,2 again.
- Make sure the “Blower Factory RPM “is 1705~2307.
4-4 Keystone Calibration
Procedure - Please put the projector on a horizontal surface.
- Please press "power", “up”,”right”,
“up”,”left”,”menu”, buttons sequentially
to get into service mode.
- Choose "Clibration" , press "Enter" button then choose “Auto Keystone Calibration”
- Test the projected image under 30 degree
Inspection item - the projected screen
Criteria - Automatically adjust the shape of the projected image according to the angle at which the projector is positioned.

4-5 Re-write Lamp Hours Usage
1. Get into service mode
- Press power→up→right→up→left→menu
to get into service mode.
2. Re-write Lamp Hours
-Select Lamp Hours and use “left” or “right” buttons to re-write the
lamp hours.
3. Choose “Exit”, press “Enter” to exit
Note: left key = decrease lamp hour right key =increase lamp hour
4-6 OSD Reset
1.Press "menu" to get into OSD mode.
2.Use “left” or “right” buttons to select "OPTIONS",
then use “up” or “down” buttons to select "Reset"
press "enter" to do OSD Reset.

Check pattern -Test signal: 1920*1200@60Hz
-Test pattern: 64 gray RGBW
Procedure -Test equipment: video generator
-Press power→up→right→up →left→left
→menu to get into service mo�emode.
-Select “2X CW Index” or “3X CW Index”.CW Index”.
-Adjust “2X CW Index” and “3X CWCW
Index” to correct the test pattern.
Inspection item -Color saturation
Criteria -There should not have any lack of
RGBW.
-Color levels should be sufficient and
normal.
Note: Color Wheel Index should be adjusted when the
test pattern appears flashing, abnormal color, or
missing color.

5-1-3 Firmware Upgrade
Procedure
1. Download the firmware from website, unzip the
"DDP442X Firmware Downloader.zip" file.
2. Execute “DDP442X Firmware Downloader.exe”
3. Click "Browse" to choose the firmware ,then click
"Open".
4. Connect projector and computer by USB
cable (USB A to mini USB B).
5. Get into firmware download mode.
Hold on "Power" button and plug in the
power cord.
Release the "Power" button until all LEDs
light red.

6. The “Projector found” will appear, then click
“Down Load Image”.
7. The firmware will be upgraded automatically .
8. Finish.
"Download Complete" will appear, click "OK".
9. Check the system firmware version.
Unplug the power cord and USB cable, then
re-plug the power cord to power on the
projector .
Press "power->up->right->up->left->menu"
sequentially to get into service mode to check
system firmware version.

5-2-2 Network Setting
1. Double click the "Local area connection", choose "Properties".
2. Select "Internet protocol (TCP/IP)", then click "Properties".
3. Modify the IP address to 192.168.0.101, and modify Subnet mask to 255.255.255.0.
Note: - The IP address (192.168.0.XXX) of PC IP address must be different from the projector IP address written down in 5-3-3.
4. Click "OK".
5. Click "Close" to quit the setting screen.

5-2-3 Write Down Projector IP
1. Connect projector with PC by LAN cable.
2. Turn on the projector, then press "Menu" button to get into OSD menu.
- Use "right" button to select "SETUP".
- Use "down" button to remove the light mark to "Network Settings", then press "Enter" button to select "LAN Setting", press "Enter"button.
- Remove the light mark to "DHCP", then press "Enter" button to select "Off", press "Enter" button.
- The IP address will be shown on screen.
- Write down the IP address: 192.168.0.100.
- Select "Exit" to OSD.
3.Shut down the projector.

5-2-4 Upgrade Procedure
1. Execute "Internet Explorer".
2.Visit "http://192.168.0.100/firmwareUpdate.htm"
to get into firmware update screen.
3. - Click "Update".
- Click "Browse" button to select the network firmware file (*.bin) which you saved.
- Click "Open".
- Click "Update" to start updating.
