These instructions will describe how to install a support for the log splitter.

DRILL TWO HOLES IN LOG SPLITTER BASE

1. Drill two holes in the log splitter base that are .34" in diameter. The dimensions from the edges are shown below.

Before inspecting or servicing any part of this machine,
shut off power source, remove key, disconnect the
battery cables and make sure all moving parts have
come to a complete stop.

INSTALLATION

1. Bolt the leg support base underneath
the log splitter with two (2) 5/6 x 1" bolts
and nuts as shown.

2. Bolt the nylon lanyard to the support
base with the 1/4 x 3/4" hex head bolt,
1/4" washer, and 1/4" nut.

3. Attach the support leg to the support
base with the snapper pin and adjust
as necessary.

4. Secure the snapper pin with the nylon
lanyard.

OPERATION

• Use the support base to keep the log
splitter from tipping over while splitting
logs.

• Always put the support leg up as high as
possible before towing the log splitter.

• Remove the support leg before rotating
the splitter into the vertical position to
split logs or store.
