Using headphones (not supplied)

For private listening, you can connect headphones with a 1/8" plug to the headphone jack on the left side of the TV. Connecting headphones automatically mutes the built-in speakers.
To protect your hearing, follow these guidelines when you use headphones:
• Set the volume to the lowest setting before you begin listening.
• After you begin listening, adjust the volume to a comfortable level.
• Do not listen at extremely high volume levels. Extended high-volume listening can lead to permanent hearing loss.
• After you set the volume, do not increase it. Over time, your ears adapt to the volume level. A volume level that does not cause discomfort may still damage your hearing.

Using an external antenna (not supplied)

If you are in an area with weak TV signals or inside a concrete building, you may need an external antenna to improve reception.
To connect an external antenna:
• Connect the external antenna to the RF IN jack on the right side of the TV. Use the supplied L-shaped F-connector adapter if necessary.
