2.1 General safety
WARNING!

Do not operate the product if it is visibly damaged.

If the power cable for this product is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified person in
order to prevent safety hazards.

This product may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Inadequate
repairs may cause serious hazards.
•
This product can be used by children aged 8 years or over, as well as
by persons with diminished physical, sensory or mental capacities or a
lack of experience and knowledge, providing they are supervised or
have been taught how to use the product safely and are aware of the
resulting risks.

If the refrigerated container is connected to the battery: Disconnect
the refrigerated container and other power consuming devices from
the battery before connecting the quick charging device.

If the refrigerated container is connected to the battery: Disconnect
the cooler or switch it off when you turn off the engine. Otherwise the
battery may discharge.

2.2 Operating the product safely

Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands. This applies espe-

CAUTION!
Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line and the plug
are dry.
NOTICE!

Do not use electrical devices inside the product unless they are recommended by the manufacturer for that purpose.
•
Do not place the product near naked flames or other heat sources
(heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
•
Danger of overheating!
Always ensure sufficient ventilation so that the heat generated during
operation can dissipate. Make sure that the product is sufficiently far
away from walls and other objects so that the air can circulate.
•
Ensure that the ventilation openings are not covered.
•
Protect the product and the cable against heat and moisture.
3 Intended use
The TL200, TL450, TL600 refrigerated containers are ideal for refrigerating and
freezing food items at a constant temperature of +4 °C or –18 °C.
The FO200, FO450, FO600, FO800, FO1000 refrigerated containers are ideal for
refrigerating food items at a constant temperature of +4 °C.
The refrigerated containers are designed for operating with direct current (standard:
12 Vg; on request: 12/24 Vg) and alternating current versions.
The refrigerated container has a lock on the lid (not FO800, FO 1000) and a fastening
strap.
CAUTION! Health hazard!

Please check if the cooling capacity of the device is suitable for storing
the food you wish to cool or freeze.

6 Technical description
The refrigerated container can cool and freeze goods at a constant temperature of
+4 °C and –18 °C (TL200, TL450, TL600) or cool at +4 °C (FO200, FO450,
FO600, FO800, FO1000). A maintenance-free refrigerant circuit with compressor
provides the cooling.
Depending on the model, the refrigerated container can operate on a AC or DC
power supply.
The refrigerated container has a battery monitor which protects the vehicle battery
from excessive discharging:

Switch-on voltage = 12.3 V
•
Switch-off voltage = 11.7 V

7 Installing and connecting the

➤ Observe the minimum clearances for the place of installation (fig. 4, page 5).
➤ Place the refrigerated container on a stable and even floor.
7.1 Operating with AC power supply
➤ Plug the AC connection cable into the AC power supply connection (fig. 3 2,
page 4).
➤ Connect the refrigerated container to the AC power supply.

7.2 Operating with DC power supply
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the device!

For safety reasons, the refrigerated container is equipped with an electronic system
to prevent the polarity being reversed. This protects it against reversed polarity when
connecting to a battery and against short circuiting.
A
Disconnect the refrigerated container and other electric consumers
from the battery before you connect the battery to a quick charging
device.
Overvoltage can damage the electronics of the device.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the device!
To avoid voltage drops and loss of performance, keep the cable as short
as possible and avoid joins.
Therefore avoid additional switches, plugs or power strips.
➤ Determine the required cross section of the cable in relation to the cable length
according to fig. 5, page 5.

Make sure that the polarity is correct.

➤ Before starting up the device for the first time, check whether the operating
voltage and the battery voltage match (see type plate).
➤ Make sure that the cable at the positive battery terminal (fig. 6 1, page 6) is pro-
tected with a 25 A fuse (fig. 6 3, page 6).
➤ Plug the DC connection cable into the DC socket of the refrigerated container
(fig. 3 1, page 4).

➤ Connect the red cable (fig. 6 rd, page 6) to the positive terminal of the battery
(fig. 6 1, page 6).
➤ Connect the black cable (fig. 6 blk, page 6) to the negative terminal of the
battery (fig. 6 2, page 6).
Notes on the battery monitor
The product is equipped with a battery monitor that protects your vehicle battery
against excessive discharging when the device is connected to the on-board supply.
If the refrigerated container is operated when the vehicle ignition is switched off, it
switches off automatically as soon as the supply voltage falls below a settable level.
The refrigerated container will switch back on once the battery has been recharged
to the restart voltage level.
NOTICE! Risk of damage!
A
When switched off by the battery monitor, the battery will no longer be
fully charged. Avoid starting repeatedly or operating electric consumers
without longer charging phases. Make sure that the battery is
recharged.
8 Operating the refrigerated container

8.1 Storing food items
I
Food may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable
containers.
NOTE
•
The key in the key switch for temperature selection can be removed
in any position. The container continues to refrigerate.
•
Before starting your refrigerated container for the first time, you
should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic
reasons (see also chapter “Cleaning and maintenance” on page 19).
NOTE
At a temperature setting of –18 °C: Only put goods in the refriger-
ated container which are already frozen at –20 °C. The refrigerated container is not suitable for freezing.

8.2 Energy saving tips
•
Choose a well ventilated position which is protected from direct sunlight.
•
Allow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the product to freeze.
•
Do not open the refrigerated container more often than necessary.
•
Do not leave the refrigerated container open for longer than necessary.
•
Defrost the refrigerated container once a layer of ice forms.
8.3 Selecting the temperature (for TL200, TL450, TL600
only)
➤ Turn the key switch to the required position (fig. 7, page 6).
➤ Remove the key and store in a safe place.
8.4 Switching on the refrigerated container

➤ Set the on/off switch (fig. 3 3, page 4) to the “I” position.
➤ Insert the key into the key switch.
➤ Turn the key to the required temperature.
✓ The compressor switches on and the refrigerated container starts to cool.
Only put food items in the refrigerated container which may be kept
at the selected temperature.
•
Ensure that your refrigerated container is well ventilated so that any
heat created can dissipate. Otherwise proper functioning cannot be
ensured. The air vents may not be covered up.
8.5 Mounting the rollers (accessory)
Not for FO800, FO1000
You can fit block rollers or casters instead of the stands:
➤ Remove the four stands and screw on the four block rollers or casters into the
same position (fig. 8, page 7).

8.6 Using the lock for the lid
Not for FO800, FO1000
➤ Close the sliding doors on both sides.
➤ Slide the catch into the inlet provided so that it clicks into position (fig. 9 1,
page 7).
8.7 Defrosting the refrigerated container (for TL200,
TL450, TL600, FO800, FO1000 only)
➤ Remove the layer of ice at a thickness of 2 mm using a plastic scraper.
➤ Defrost the refrigerated container.
➤ Remove the thawed water.
NOTE
I
TL200, TL450, TL600: The refrigerated container has an opening on
the back that you can connect a drain hose to for draining the condensate.
FO800, FO1000: The refrigerated container has a drain hose on the
back for draining condensate.
9 Cleaning and maintenance
NOTICE! Risk of damage!
A
➤ Occasionally clean the refrigerated container interior and exterior with a damp
cloth.
➤ Remove the base plates occasionally and clean these with a damp cloth.
➤ Make sure that the air vents on the refrigerated container are free of any dust and
dirt, so that heat can be released and the refrigerated container is not damaged.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning as
these can damage the refrigerated container.

2.2 Sicherheit beim Betrieb des Produktes

Achten Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme darauf, dass Zuleitung und Stecker
trocken sind.
ACHTUNG!

Benutzen Sie keine Elektrogeräte innerhalb des Produktes, außer
wenn diese Elektrogeräte vom Hersteller dafür empfohlen werden.

Stellen Sie das Produkt nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen oder
anderen Wärmequellen (Heizung, starke Sonneneinstrahlung,
Gasöfen usw.) ab.

Überhitzungsgefahr!
Achten Sie stets darauf, dass beim Betrieb entstehende Wärme ausreichend abgeführt werden kann. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Produkt

3 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die Kühlcontainer TL200, TL450, TL600 eignen sich zum Kühlen und Tiefkühlen von
Lebensmitteln bei einer konstanten Temperatur von +4 °C oder –18 °C.
Die Kühlcontainer FO200, FO450, FO600, FO800, FO1000 eignen sich zum
Kühlen von Lebensmitteln bei einer konstanten Temperatur von +4 °C.
Die Kühlcontainer sind für den Betrieb an Gleichstrom (Standard: 12 Vg; auf
Anfrage: 12/24 Vg) und Wechselstrom ausgelegt.
Der Kühlcontainer verfügt über eine Deckelsicherung (nicht FO800, FO1000) und
einen Spanngurthalter.

6 Technische Beschreibung
Der Kühlcontainer kann Waren bei einer konstanten Temperatur von +4 °C und
–18 °C (TL200, TL450, TL600) kühlen und tiefgekühlt halten oder bei +4 °C
(FO200, FO450, FO600, FO800, FO1000) kühlen. Die Kühlung erfolgt durch
einen wartungsfreien Kühlkreislauf mit Kompressor.
Der Kühlcontainer kann je nach Modell am Wechselstromnetz oder am Gleichstromnetz betrieben werden.
Der Kühlcontainer verfügt über einen Batteriewächter, der die Fahrzeugbatterie vor
zu tiefer Entladung schützt:

➤ Beachten Sie die Mindestabstände für den Aufstellort (Abb. 4, Seite 5).
➤ Stellen Sie den Kühlcontainer auf einen stabilen und ebenen Boden.
7.1 Betrieb mit Wechselstrom
➤ Stecken Sie das Wechselstrom-Anschlusskabel in den Wechselstromanschluss
(Abb. 3 2, Seite 4).
➤ Schließen Sie den Kühlcontainer an das Wechselstromnetz an.
7.2 Betrieb mit Gleichstrom
ACHTUNG! Gefahr von Geräteschäden!

Zur Sicherheit ist der Kühlcontainer mit einem elektronischen Verpolungsschutz ausgestattet, der den Kühlcontainer gegen Verpolung beim Batterieanschluss und
gegen Kurzschluss schützt.
Klemmen Sie den Kühlcontainer und andere Verbraucher von der
Batterie ab, bevor Sie die Batterie mit einem Schnellladegerät aufladen.
Überspannungen können die Elektronik der Geräte beschädigen.
