2 Safety instructions
2.1 General safety
WARNING! Failure to obey these warnings could result in death
or serious injury.

Electrocution hazard
• Do not operate the cooling device if it is visibly damaged.
• If this cooling device's power cable is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified person in
order to prevent safety hazards.
• This cooling device may only be repaired by qualified personnel.
Improper repairs can lead to considerable hazards.
Health hazard
• This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the device in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the device.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
• Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload
cooling devices.

• Do not store any explosive substances such as spray cans with a
flammable propellant in the cooling device.

NOTICE! Damage hazard
• Check that the voltage specification on the type plate corresponds to
that of the energy supply.
• Only connect the cooling device as follows:
– With the DC connection cable to a DC power supply in the vehicle
– Or with the AC connection cable to an AC power supply
• Connect the cooling device with an AC connection cable to the AC
power supply.
• Never pull the plug out of the socket by the cable.
• If the cooling device is connected to a DC outlet: Disconnect the
cooling device and other power consuming devices from the battery
before connecting a quick charging device.
• If the cooling device is connected to a DC outlet: Disconnect the
cooling device or switch it off when you turn off the engine. Otherwise
you may discharge the battery.
• The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic materials or
materials containing solvents.
2.2 Operating the cooling device safely
CAUTION! Failure to obey these cautions could result in minor or
moderate injury.

• Before starting the cooling device, ensure that the power supply line
and the plug are dry.
Health hazard
• Opening the cooling devicefor long periods can cause significant
increase of the temperature in the compartments of the device.

TL, FO Scope of delivery
• Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and
accessible drainage systems.
• Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the device, so that it is
not in contact with or drip onto other food.
• If the device is left empty for long periods:
– Switch off the device.
– Defrost the device.
– Clean and dry the device.
– Leave the door open to prevent mould developing within the
device.

• Do not use electrical devices inside the cooling device unless they are
recommended by the manufacturer for the purpose.
• Do not place the cooling device near naked flames or other heat
sources (heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
• Risk of overheating!
Ensure at all times that there is a minimum of 50 mm ventilation on all
four sides of the cooling device. Keep the ventilation area free of any
objects that could restrict the air flow to the cooling components.
Do not place the cooling device in closed compartments or areas with
none or minimal air flow.
• Ensure that the ventilation openings are not covered.
• Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluids.
• Never immerse the cooling device in water.
• Protect the cooling device and cables against heat and moisture.

5 Intended use
The TL200, TL300, TL450 and FO650 refrigerated containers are ideal for refrigerating and freezing food items at a constant temperature of +4 °C or –18 °C.
The FO200NC, FO450NC, FO800NC, FO850NC and FO1000NC refrigerated
containers are ideal for refrigerating food items at a constant temperature of +4 °C.
The refrigerated containers are designed for operating on a DC (12 Vg) and AC
power supply.
Refrigerated containers with integrated heating DT-32 (optional) are designed for
operating on a DC (12/24 Vg) and AC power supply.
The refrigerated container has a lock on the lid (not FO800NC, FO1000NC) and a
holder for the fastening strap.

Please check if the cooling capacity of the device is suitable for storing
the food you wish to cool or freeze (chapter “Models” on page 12).
6 Technical description
The refrigerated container can cool and freeze goods at a constant temperature of
+4 °C and –18 °C (TL200, TL300, TL450, FO650) or cool at +4 °C (FO200NC,
FO450NC, FO800NC, FO850NC, FO1000NC). A maintenance-free refrigerant
circuit with compressor provides the cooling.
Depending on the model, the refrigerated container can operate on an AC or DC
power supply.
The refrigerated container has a battery monitor which protects the vehicle battery
from excessive discharging:
• Switch-on voltage = 12.3 V
• Switch-off voltage = 11.7 V
Refrigerated containers with integrated heating DT-32 (optional):
• Switch-on voltage = 16 V
• Switch-off voltage = 32 V

• When positioning the device, ensure the supply cord is not trapped
or damaged.
• Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power
supplies at the rear of the device.
➤ Observe the minimum clearances for the place of installation (fig. 4, page 4).
➤ Place the refrigerated container on a stable and even floor.
7.1 Operation with AC power
➤ Plug the AC connection cable into the AC power supply connection (fig. 3 2,
page 4).
➤ Connect the refrigerated container to the AC power supply.

7.2 Operation with DC power

For safety reasons, the refrigerated container is equipped with an electronic system
to prevent the polarity being reversed. This protects it against reversed polarity when
connecting to a battery and against short circuiting.

➤ Determine the required cross section of the cable in relation to the cable length
as follows:

Disconnect the refrigerated container and other electric consumers
from the battery before you connect the battery to a quick charging
device.
Overvoltage can damage the electronics of the device.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the device!
To avoid voltage drops and loss of performance, keep the cable as short
as possible and avoid joins.
Therefore avoid additional switches, plugs or power strips.

➤ Before starting up the device for the first time, check whether the operating volt-
age and the battery voltage match (see type plate).
➤ Make sure that the cable at the positive battery terminal (fig. 5 1, page 5) is pro-
tected with a 25 A fuse (fig. 5 3, page 5).
➤ Plug the DC connection cable into the DC socket of the refrigerated container
(fig. 3 1, page 4).
Make sure that the polarity is correct.

➤ Connect the red cable (fig. 5 rd, page 5) to the positive battery terminal
(fig. 5 1, page 5).
➤ Connect the black cable (fig. 5 bk, page 5) to the negative battery terminal
(fig. 5 2, page 5).
Notes on the battery monitor
The product is equipped with a battery monitor that protects your vehicle battery
against excessive discharging when the device is connected to the on-board supply.
If the refrigerated container is operated when the vehicle ignition is switched off, it
switches off automatically as soon as the supply voltage falls below a settable level.
The refrigerated container will switch back on once the battery has been recharged
to the switch-on voltage level.

If the refrigerated container switches itself off, the food contained inside
it will not be cooled.
NOTICE! Risk of damage!
When the refrigerated container is switched off by the battery monitor,
the battery will no longer be fully charged. Avoid starting repeatedly or
operating power consumers without longer charging phases. Make
sure that the battery recharges.

Food may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable
containers.
NOTE
• The key in the key switch for temperature selection can be removed
in any position. The container continues to refrigerate.
• Before starting your refrigerated container for the first time, you
should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic reasons (see also chapter “Cleaning and maintenance” on page 19).

8.1 Storing food items

• Choose a well ventilated position which is protected from direct sunlight.
• Allow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the product to freeze.
• Do not open the refrigerated container more often than necessary.
• Do not leave the refrigerated container open for longer than necessary.
• Defrost the refrigerated container once a layer of ice forms.
8.3 Selecting the temperature (only TL200, TL300,
➤ Turn the key switch to the required position (fig. 6, page 5).
➤ Remove the key and store in a safe place.
At a temperature setting of –18 °C: Only put food in the refrigerated
container that is already frozen at –18 °C. The refrigerated container is
not suitable for freezing food.

8.4 Switching on the refrigerated container

➤ Set the on/off switch (fig. 3 3, page 4) to the “I” position.
➤ Insert the key into the key switch.
➤ Turn the key to the required temperature.
✓ The compressor switches on and the refrigerated container starts to cool.
• Only put food items in the refrigerated container which may be kept
at the selected temperature.
• Ensure that your refrigerated container is well ventilated so that any
heat created can dissipate. Otherwise proper functioning cannot be
ensured. The air vents may not be covered up.

8.5 Installing the wheel set (accessories)
Not for FO800NC, FO650NC, FO1000NC
You can install wheels in place of the stands:
➤ Remove the four stands and install the wheels in the same position. To do so, use
two fixed wheels and two movable wheels in the longitudinal direction to make
maneuvering easy (fig. 7, page 6).
8.6 Using the lock for the lid (fig. 8, page 6)
Not for FO800NC, FO1000NC
➤ Close the sliding doors all the way to the stop.
➤ Insert the knob into the opening until it clicks into place to lock the sliding doors.
➤ Pull the knob upwards to unlock the sliding doors.
8.7 Removing condensation (fig. 9, page 7)
During operation of the refrigerated containers, condensation is generated, which is
then discharged to the outside.
➤ Make sure that the condensation can drain freely.
TL200, TL300, TL450, FO200NC, FO450NC
The refrigerated container has a drain fitting on the back where you can connect a
drain hose.
FO600, FO800NC, FO850NC, FO1000NC
The refrigerated container has a collection container on the rear for draining condensation water.
NOTE

Ensure that the collection container is regularly emptied. An overfilled
collection container can impair the function of the refrigerated
containers.

8.8 Defrosting the refrigerated container
➤ Remove the layer of ice at a thickness of 2 mm using a plastic scraper.
➤ Place the open refrigerated container in an environment of approximately 20 °C.
➤ Remove the condensation.
9 Cleaning and maintenance

➤ Occasionally clean the refrigerated container interior and exterior with a damp
cloth.
➤ Remove the base plates occasionally and clean these with a damp cloth.
➤ Make sure that the air vents on the refrigerated container are free of any dust and
dirt, so that heat can be released and the refrigerated container is not damaged.
• Do not use harsh detergents, hard objects or high-pressure cleaners
for cleaning.
10 Warranty
The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please contact the
manufacturer's branch in your country (see back page) or your retailer.
For repair and warranty processing, please include the following documents when
you send in the device:
• A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
• A reason for the claim or description of the fault
11 Disposal

Before disposing of your old refrigerator:
• Take off the doors.
• Leave storage shelves in the refrigerator so that children cannot
climb inside.

2.1 Allgemeine Sicherheit

Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag
• Wenn das Kühlgerät sichtbare Beschädigungen aufweist, dürfen Sie
es nicht in Betrieb nehmen.
• Wenn das Anschlusskabel dieses Kühlgerätes beschädigt wird, muss
es durch den Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich
qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
• Reparaturen an diesem Kühlgerät dürfen nur von Fachkräften durchgeführt werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren entstehen.
Gesundheitsgefahr
• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und Personen mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder
einem Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen verwendet werden, wenn sie
beaufsichtigt werden oder eine Anleitung zur sicheren Benutzung des

Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag
• Trennen Sie das Kühlgerät von der Stromversorgung
– vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege
– nach jedem Gebrauch
Gesundheitsgefahr
• Lebensmittel dürfen nur in Originalverpackungen oder geeigneten
Behältern eingelagert werden.
ACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr
• Vergleichen Sie die Spannungsangabe auf dem Typenschild mit der
vorhandenen Energieversorgung.
• Schließen Sie das Kühlgerät nur wie folgt an:
– mit dem Gleichstrom-Anschlusskabel an das Gleichstromnetz im
Fahrzeug
– oder mit dem Wechselstrom-Anschlusskabel an das
Wechselstromnetz
• Schließen Sie das Kühlgerät mit dem Wechselstrom-Anschlusskabel
an das Wechselstromnetz an.
• Ziehen Sie den Stecker nie am Anschlusskabel aus der Steckdose.
• Wenn das Kühlgerät an der Gleichstrom-Steckdose angeschlossen
ist: Klemmen Sie Ihr Kühlgerät und andere Verbraucher von der
Fahrzeugbatterie ab, bevor Sie ein Schnellladegerät anschließen.
• Wenn das Kühlgerät an der Gleichstrom-Steckdose angeschlossen
ist: Trennen Sie die Verbindung oder schalten Sie das Kühlgerät aus,
wenn Sie den Motor ausschalten. Sonst kann die Fahrzeugbatterie
entladen werden.
• Das Kühlgerät ist nicht geeignet für den Transport ätzender oder
lösungsmittelhaltiger Stoffe.

2.2 Sicherheit beim Betrieb des Kühlgerätes
VORSICHT! Nichtbeachtung dieser Sicherheitshinweise kann zu
leichten oder mittelschweren Verletzungen führen.

Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag
• Achten Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme darauf, dass Zuleitung und Stecker
trocken sind.
Gesundheitsgefahr
• Das Öffnen des Kühlgerätes über einen längeren Zeitraum kann einen
erheblichen Temperaturanstieg in den Fächern des Gerätes verursachen.
• Reinigen Sie regelmäßig Oberflächen, die mit Lebensmitteln und
zugänglichen Entwässerungssystemen in Berührung kommen
können.
• Lagern Sie rohes Fleisch und Fisch in geeigneten Behältern im Gerät,
damit sie nicht mit anderen Lebensmitteln in Berührung kommen oder
auf diese abtropfen.
• Wenn das Gerät für längere Zeit leer steht:
– Schalten Sie das Gerät aus.
– Tauen Sie das Gerät ab.
– Reinigen und trocknen Sie das Gerät.
– Lassen Sie die Tür offen, um Schimmelbildung im Gerät zu
verhindern.

ACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr
• Benutzen Sie keine Elektrogeräte innerhalb des Kühlgerätes, außer
wenn diese Elektrogeräte vom Hersteller dafür empfohlen werden.
• Stellen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen oder
anderen Wärmequellen (Heizung, starke Sonneneinstrahlung, Gasöfen usw.) ab.
• Überhitzungsgefahr!
Achten Sie stets darauf, dass die Belüftung auf allen vier Seiten des
Kühlgeräts mindestens 50 mm beträgt. Halten Sie den Lüftungsbereich frei von jeglichen Gegenständen, die den Luftdurchfluss zu
den Kühlkomponenten behindern können.
Platzieren Sie das Kühlgerät nicht in geschlossenen Fächern oder
Bereichen, die keinen oder nur einen minimalen Luftstrom aufweisen.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht abgedeckt
werden.
• Füllen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten oder Eis in den Innenbehälter.

5 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die Kühlcontainer TL200, TL300, TL450, FO 650 eignen sich zum Kühlen und Tiefkühlen von Lebensmitteln bei einer konstanten Temperatur von +4 °C oder –18 °C.
Die Kühlcontainer FO200NC, FO450NC, FO800NC, FO 850NC, FO1000NC eignen sich zum Kühlen von Lebensmitteln bei einer konstanten Temperatur von +4 °C.
Die Kühlcontainer sind für den Betrieb an Gleichstrom (12 Vg) und Wechselstrom
ausgelegt.
Kühlcontainer mit integrierter Heizung DT-32 (optional) sind für den Betrieb an
Gleichstrom (12/24 Vg) und Wechselstrom ausgelegt.
Der Kühlcontainer verfügt über eine Deckelsicherung (nicht FO800NC,
FO1000NC) und einen Spanngurthalter.
VORSICHT! Gesundheitsgefahr!

Prüfen Sie bitte, ob die Kühlleistung des Gerätes den Anforderungen
der Lebensmittel entspricht, die Sie kühlen oder tiefkühlen wollen

Technische Beschreibung TL, FO
6 Technische Beschreibung
Der Kühlcontainer kann Waren bei einer konstanten Temperatur von +4 °C und
–18 °C (TL200, TL 300, TL450, FO 650) kühlen und tiefgekühlt halten oder bei +4 °C
(FO200NC, FO450NC, FO800NC, FO 850NC, FO1000NC) kühlen. Die Kühlung
erfolgt durch einen wartungsfreien Kühlkreislauf mit Kompressor.
Der Kühlcontainer kann je nach Modell am Wechselstromnetz oder am Gleichstromnetz betrieben werden.
Der Kühlcontainer verfügt über einen Batteriewächter, der die Fahrzeugbatterie vor
zu tiefer Entladung schützt:
• Einschaltspannung = 12,3 V
• Ausschaltspannung = 11,7 V
Kühlcontainer mit integrierter Heizung DT-32 (optional):
• Einschaltspannung = 16 V
• Ausschaltspannung = 32 V
