Ihre Augen können geschädigt werden, wenn Sie direkt in das Licht schauen,
das diese Lampen erzeugen. Sorgen Sie während der Wartung für Schutzmaßnahmen gegen UV-Strahlung für das Personal, um das Risiko der UVStrahlung zu verringern.
Ultraviolette Lampen können Verletzungen verursachen
Ultraviolette Lampen bestehen aus Glas und sind zerbrechlich. Tragen Sie
einen Augenschutz und schnittfeste Handschuhe beim Umgang mit ultravioletten Lampen.

Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur, wenn die Abdeckung vollständig montiert ist.
Die Gesundheitsaspekte, die die Benutzung dieses Gerätes betreffen sowie
seine Fähigkeiten, die Desinfektion der Umgebungsluft zu unterstützen, wurden von der UL (Underwriters Laboratories) nicht untersucht.
Die Wirksamkeit des Gerätes wurde durch das Environmental Diagnostics
Laboratory getestet und nachgewiesen, ein von der AIHA (American Industrial Hygiene Association) anerkanntes und der SBA (Small Business Administration) zertifiziertes Labor.

5 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Dometic Breathe Easy™ (SKU: 9108680632) ist ein Luftreiniger, der mit
photokatalytischer Nano-Mesh-Technologie und UV-Licht die Luftqualität
verbessert, indem die Luft mehrfach durch das Gerät zirkuliert.

HINWEIS
Beachten Sie, dass das Gerät nicht die Quelle anhaltender
Geruchsbelästigung beseitigt. Beispielsweise muss ein Leck, das
Schimmel und damit Geruchsbelästigung verursacht, abgedichtet
werden und der Schimmel muss beseitigt werden.
Das Gerät wird mit 12 Vg betrieben. Es darf nur mit dem mitgelieferten
Netzadapter am 100–240-V-Wechselstromnetz betrieben werden.

7 Breathe Easy™ montieren
Beachten Sie folgenden Hinweise bei der Auswahl des Montageortes:
Das Gerät ist ausgelegt für Räume mit einer Grundfläche von bis zu
46 m².
Wählen Sie einen Platz, an dem der Luftdurchfluss nicht behindert wird.
Montieren Sie das Gerät nicht in Räumen, in denen feuergefährliche
Stoffe lagern oder sich brennbare Gase bilden können.
Montieren Sie das Gerät nicht neben die Luftzufuhr oder -abfuhr einer
Klimaanlage.
Halten Sie das Anschlusskabel von heißen Oberflächen fern.
Montieren Sie das Gerät auf eine flache, glatte Oberfläche.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor, um das Gerät zu montieren:
➤ Befestigen Sie das Gerät mit Hilfe der Saugnäpfe auf einer flachen,
glatten Oberfläche.
➤ Notieren Sie das aktuelle Datum auf dem Wartungsaufkleber (Abb. 2 3,
Seite 3). Sie wissen so, wann Sie die UV-Lampe im folgenden Jahr
ersetzen müssen.

➤ Verbinden Sie eine Seite des 12-V-Anschlusskabels mit der Anschluss-
buchse (Abb. 2 2, Seite 3).
➤ Verbinden Sie die andere Seite des Anschlusskabels mit einer 12-V-
Steckdose.

➤ Stellen Sie den Schalter (Abb. 2 1, Seite 3) auf die gewünschte
Position:
– II (höchste Reinigungsstufe, empfohlen): Der Lüfter arbeitet mit
höchster Geschwindigkeit. Die UV-Lampe leuchtet (Sie sehen ein
blaues Leuchten durch die Lüftungsöffnungen).
– I: Der Lüfter arbeitet mit niedriger Geschwindigkeit. Die UV-Lampe
leuchtet (Sie sehen ein blaues Leuchten durch die Lüftungsöffnungen).
– 0: Lüfter und UV-Lampe sind ausgeschaltet.

VORSICHT! Ultraviolette Lampen können Verletzungen verursachen
Ultraviolette Lampen bestehen aus Glas und sind zerbrechlich.
Tragen Sie einen Augenschutz und schnittfeste Handschuhe beim
Umgang mit ultravioletten Lampen.
UV-Lampen haben eine begrenzte Lebensdauer. Nach ca. 9000 Betriebsstunden (entspricht etwa einem Jahr Dauerbetrieb) verlieren UV-Lampen
ihre keimtötende Wirkung. Ersetzen Sie die UV-Lampe deswegen nach
dieser Zeit, auch wenn sie noch Licht erzeugt.

HINWEIS
Jedes Ein- und Ausschalten verkürzt die Lebensdauer der UVLampe um ca. eine Stunde.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor, um die UV-Lampe und den auswechselbaren NanoMesh-Streifen zu ersetzen:
➤ Trennen Sie das Gerät von der Spannungsversorgung.
➤ Lösen Sie die vier Schrauben an den vier Ecken der Gehäuseunterseite.
➤ Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung.
➤ Lassen Sie das Gerät 5 min abkühlen.
➤ Ziehen Sie die UV-Lampe (Abb. 1 3, Seite 3) aus dem Lampensockel
(Abb. 1 5, Seite 3).

ACHTUNG!
Fassen Sie die neue UV-Lampe nicht mit bloßen Händen an, da
das verbleibende Körperfett die Lebensdauer verkürzt.
➤ Setzen Sie die neue Dometic UV-Lampe in den Lampensockel
(Abb. 1 5, Seite 3).
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lampenstifte richtig im Sockel sitzen.
➤ Kleben Sie einen neuen Wartungsaufkleber mit dem aktuellen Datum
über den alten, damit Sie wissen, wann Sie die UV-Lampe ersetzen
müssen.
➤ Nehmen Sie den Nano-Mesh-Streifen (Abb. 1 2, Seite 3) aus der
Halterung.
➤ Stecken Sie den neuen Nano-Mesh-Streifen längs in die Halterung.
Es ist egal, welche Seite zur UV-Lampe gerichtet ist.
➤ Falls notwendig, reinigen Sie das Gerät (siehe Kapitel „Breathe Easy™
pflegen und reinigen“ auf Seite 14).
➤ Setzen Sie die Abdeckung auf.
➤ Befestigen Sie die Abdeckung mit den vier Schrauben.
➤ Schließen Sie das Gerät an die Spannungsversorgung an.

WARNUNG!

Augen schädigen.
➤ Prüfen Sie, ob die UV-Lampe leuchtet.
Sie sehen ein blaues Leuchten durch die Lüftungsöffnungen.

Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege den Anschlussstecker
heraus.

VORSICHT! Verbrennungsgefahr!
Lassen Sie die UV-Lampe vor der Reinigung abkühlen.

ACHTUNG!
Reinigen Sie das Gerät niemals unter fließendem Wasser oder
gar im Spülwasser.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine scharfen Reinigungsmittel
oder harten Gegenstände, da diese das Gerät beschädigen
können.
➤ Reinigen Sie das Gerät außen gelegentlich mit einem weichen trockenen
Tuch.
➤ Entfernen Sie insbesondere Staub und Schmutz, der sich um die
Lüftungsöffnungen abgelagert hat.
➤ Reinigen Sie das Innere mit Druckluft, um Staubpartikel zu entfernen.
➤ Reinigen Sie den Lüfter (Abb. 1 1, Seite 3) mit einer weichen Bürste,
wenn Sie die UV-Lampe austauschen oder wenn Sie eine Reduzierung
des Luftstroms feststellen.
➤ Reinigen Sie den auswechselbaren Nano-Mesh-Streifen (Abb. 1 2,
Seite 3), wenn Sie eine Reduzierung des Luftstroms feststellen.
Nehmen Sie den Nano-Mesh-Streifen hierzu aus der Halterung, und reinigen Sie ihn mit einer weichen Bürste oder mit Wasser und Spülmittel.
Lassen Sie ihn trocknen, bevor Sie ihn in seine Halterung stecken.
➤ Reinigen Sie die festgeklebten Nano-Mesh-Streifen (Abb. 1 4, Seite 3)
mit einer weichen Bürste.
➤ Reinigen Sie die UV-Lampe ggf. mit einem weichen Tuch und
Reinigungsalkohol.

Keine Spannung (das Gerät schaltet sich nicht ein, kein Lüftergeräusch zu hören)
➤ Prüfen Sie, ob das Anschlusskabel mit dem Gerät und der Spannungs-
versorgung verbunden ist.
➤ Prüfen Sie, ob der Schalter (Abb. 2 1, Seite 3) in der Stellung „I“ oder „II“
steht.
➤ Prüfen Sie die Spannung.
Der Lüfter läuft, kein blaues Leuchten sichtbar
➤ Prüfen Sie, ob die UV-Lampe (Abb. 1 3, Seite 3) korrekt im Lampen-
sockel (Abb. 1 5, Seite 3) steckt (siehe Kapitel „UV-Lampe und auswechselbaren Nano-Mesh-Streifen ersetzen“ auf Seite 12).
➤ Ersetzen Sie ggf. die UV-Lampe (Abb. 1 3, Seite 3) (siehe Kapitel „UV-
Lampe und auswechselbaren Nano-Mesh-Streifen ersetzen“ auf
Seite 12).
➤ Prüfen Sie, ob der Lampensockel (Abb. 1 5, Seite 3) defekt ist.
Die Luft wird nicht richtig gereinigt
➤ Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät richtig angebracht ist:
– in einem geschlossenen Raum
– nicht neben der Luftzufuhr oder -abfuhr einer Klimaanlage
– die Grundfläche des Raums darf nicht größer als 46 m² sein
DIe Reinigungsleistung ist zu gering
➤ Reinigen Sie die Lüftungsöffnungen.
➤ Reinigen Sie den auswechselbaren Nano-Mesh-Streifen (siehe Kapitel
„Breathe Easy™ pflegen und reinigen“ auf Seite 14).
➤ Reinigen Sie die UV-Lampe (siehe Kapitel „Breathe Easy™ pflegen und
reinigen“ auf Seite 14).
➤ Prüfen Sie, ob die UV-Lampe ersetzt werden muss. Sehen Sie hierzu auf
den Wartungsaufkleber, wie lange die UV-Lampe in Betrieb ist.

12 Gewährleistung
Es gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist. Sollte das Produkt defekt sein,
wenden Sie sich bitte an an Ihren Fachhändler oder an die Niederlassung
des Herstellers in Ihrem Land (Adressen siehe Rückseite der Anleitung).
Zur Reparatur- bzw. Gewährleistungsbearbeitung müssen Sie folgende
Unterlagen mitschicken:
eine Kopie der Rechnung mit Kaufdatum,
einen Reklamationsgrund oder eine Fehlerbeschreibung.
Die UV-Lampe ist von der Gewährleistung ausgenommen.
13 Entsorgung
➤ Geben Sie das Verpackungsmaterial möglichst in den entsprechenden
Recycling-Müll.

Wenn Sie das Produkt endgültig außer Betrieb nehmen, informieren Sie sich bitte beim nächsten Recyclingcenter oder bei

When selecting the installation location, observe the following instructions:
The device is designed for rooms with an area of up to 500 sq. ft. (46 m²).
Select a location where the air flow is not impaired.
Do not install the device in rooms where flammable materials are stored
or flammable gases may accumulate.
Do not install the device near the inlet or outlet of an air conditioning
system.
Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
Install the device on a flat, smooth surface.

This is how to install the device:
➤ Fasten the device to a flat, smooth surface using the suction pads.
➤ Fill in the current date on the maintenance sticker (fig. 2 3, page 3). This
tells you when the ultraviolet lamp must be replaced in the following year.

➤ Connect one end of the 12 V power cable to the socket (fig. 2 2, page 3).
➤ Plug the other end of the cable into the 12 V source.
➤ Move the switch (fig. 2 1, page 3) to the required position:
– II (maximum purification, recommended): The fan operates at maxi-
mum speed. The ultraviolet lamp is on (you can see a blue glow
through the vents).
– I: The fan operates at lower speed. The ultraviolet lamp is on (you can
see a blue glow through the vents).
– 0: The fan and the ultraviolet lamp are switched off.

CAUTION! Ultraviolet lamp may cause injury
Ultraviolet lamps are made of glass and are fragile. Safety eyewear
and puncture resistant gloves must be worn when handling an ultraviolet lamp
Ultraviolet lamps have a limited service life. After around 9000 service hours
(about a year of continuous use) they lose their germicidal effectiveness. You
must therefore replace the lamp after this period, even if it still lights up.

NOTE
Each time you switch the ultraviolet lamp on and off, you reduce its
service life by about an hour.

This is how to replace the ultraviolet lamp and the nano-mesh divider:
➤ Unplug the device from the electrical outlet.
➤ Unscrew the four screws on the corners of the bottom side.
➤ Remove the cover.
➤ Let the device cool down for 5 minutes.
➤ Pull the ultraviolet lamp (fig. 1 3, page 3) out of the lamp socket
(fig. 1 5, page 3).

NOTICE!
Do not touch the new ultraviolet lamp with you bare hands as the
oil you leave on it will shorten its service life.
➤ Put the new Dometic ultraviolet lamp into the socket (fig. 1 5, page 3).
Insert the pins on the lamp firmly into the socket.
➤ Place a new maintenance sticker with the current date over the old one
so that you know when the ultraviolet lamp needs to be replaced.
➤ Lift the nano-mesh divider (fig. 1 2, page 3) out of the slots.
➤ Insert the new nano-mesh divider lengthways into the slots.
It does not matter which side faces the ultraviolet lamp.
➤ Clean the device if necessary (see chapter “Cleaning and caring for
Breathe Easy™” on page 27).
➤ Put on the cover.
➤ Fasten the cover with the four screws.
➤ Connect the device to the electrical outlet.

Let the ultraviolet lamp cool down before cleaning.

NOTICE!
Never clean the device under running water or in dish water.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during
cleaning as these can damage the device.
➤ Wipe the exterior of the device occasionally with a soft, dry cloth.
➤ Pay special attention to dirt and dust in the air vents.
➤ Clean the interior with canned air to blow out any dust.
➤ Clean the fan (fig. 1 1, page 3) with a soft brush when you replace the
ultraviolet lamp or if you notice a reduction in the air flow.
➤ Clean the removable nano-mesh divider (fig. 1 2, page 3) if you notice a
reduction in the air flow.
To do this, lift it out of the slots and clean it with a soft brush or with water
and detergent.
Let it dry, then slide it back in the slots.
➤ Clean the non-removable nano-mesh strips (fig. 1 4, page 3) with a soft
brush.
➤ If necessary, clean the ultraviolet lamp with a soft cloth and alcohol.

11 Troubleshooting
No power (the device does not switch on, the fan cannot be heard)
➤ Check that the power cable is connected to the device and the power
source.
➤ Check that the switch (fig. 2 1, page 3) is in the I or II position.
➤ Verify that the power source is working.
Fan runs but no blue light can be seen
➤ Check that the ultraviolet lamp (fig. 1 3, page 3) is correctly inserted in
the socket (fig. 1 5, page 3) (see chapter “Replacing the ultraviolet lamp
and the nano-mesh divider” on page 25).
➤ Replace the ultraviolet lamp (fig. 1 3, page 3) if necessary (see chapter
“Replacing the ultraviolet lamp and the nano-mesh divider” on page 25).
➤ Check whether the lamp socket (fig. 1 5, page 3) is defective.
Output seems ineffective
➤ Make sure the device is correctly installed:
– In an enclosed room
– Not near the inlet or outlet of an air conditioning system
– The area of the room may not exceed 500 sq. ft. (46 m²)
Output seems low
➤ Clean the vents.
➤ Clean the removable nano-mesh divider (see chapter “Cleaning and car-
ing for Breathe Easy™” on page 27).
➤ Clean the ultraviolet lamp (see chapter “Cleaning and caring for
Breathe Easy™” on page 27).
➤ Check whether ultraviolet lamp needs to be replaced (look at the sticker
to see how long it has been in use).

5 Usage conforme
Dometic Breathe Easy™ (SKU 9108680632) est un purificateur d’air
améliorant la qualité de l’air grâce à la technologie à nanostructure
photocatalytique et à la lumière UV, dans la mesure où l’air circule à
plusieurs reprises à travers l’appareil.

REMARQUE
Veuillez noter que l’appareil n’élimine pas la source d’odeurs
gênantes et persistantes. Par exemple si une fuite provoque des
moisissures et donc des odeurs gênantes, elle doit être réparée et
les moisissures doivent être enlevées.
L’appareil fonctionne sur 12 Vg. Il doit être utilisé uniquement avec
l’adaptateur secteur livré (SKU 9108694411) sur le réseau alternatif
100–240 V.

Respectez les consignes suivantes lors du choix de l’emplacement
d’installation :
L’appareil est conçu pour les pièces d’une surface au sol allant jusqu’à
46 m².
Choisissez un emplacement où l’air circule bien.
Ne montez pas l’appareil dans des pièces dans lesquelles pourraient se
trouver des matières ou des gaz inflammables.
Ne montez pas l’appareil à proximité de l’alimentation en air ou de
l’évacuation d’air d’un climatiseur.
Tenez le câble de raccordement éloigné de surfaces chaudes.
Montez l’appareil sur une surface plate et lisse.
Procédez de la manière suivante pour monter l’appareil :
➤ Fixez l’appareil sur une surface plate et lisse à l’aide des ventouses.
➤ Notez la date actuelle (fig. 2 3, page 3) sur l’autocollant d’entretien.
Vous savez ainsi quand vous devrez remplacer la lampe UV l’année
suivante.

AVERTISSEMENT !
Ne regardez pas directement la lumière UV. La lumière UV peut
abîmer vos yeux.
➤ Raccordez une extrémité du câble de raccordement 12 V à la prise
(fig. 2 2, page 3).
➤ Raccordez l’autre extrémité du câble de raccordement à une prise 12 V.
➤ Placez le commutateur (fig. 2 1, page 3) sur la position souhaitée :
– II (niveau de purification le plus élevé, recommandé) : le ventilateur
fonctionne à la vitesse la plus élevée. La lampe UV est allumée (vous
voyez une lumière bleue à travers les orifices d’aération).
– I : le ventilateur fonctionne à une vitesse plus basse. La lampe UV est
allumée (vous voyez une lumière bleue à travers les orifices
d’aération).
– 0 : le ventilateur et la lampe UV sont éteints.

9 Remplacement de la lampe UV et de la
bande amovible à nanostructure

ATTENTION ! Les lampes à ultraviolets peuvent causer des
blessures !
Les lampes à ultraviolets sont en verre et sont fragiles. Portez des
lunettes de protection et des gants résistant aux coupures lorsque
vous manipulez des lampes à ultraviolets.
Les lampes UV ont une durée de vie limitée. Au bout d’env. 9000 heures de
service (ce qui correspond à environ une année d’utilisation permanente), les
lampes UV perdent leur effet germicide. Vous devez donc remplacer la
lampe UV au bout de cette période, même si elle génère encore de la
lumière.

REMARQUE
À chaque fois que la lampe UV est allumée et éteinte, sa durée de
vie se raccourcit d’environ une heure.
Procédez de la manière suivante pour remplacer la lampe UV et la bande
amovible à nanostructure :
➤ Coupez l’alimentation électrique de l’appareil.
➤ Dévissez les quatre vis aux quatre coins du dessous du boîtier.
➤ Retirez le cache.
➤ Laissez l’appareil refroidir 5 minutes.
➤ Retirez la lampe UV (fig. 1 3, page 3) de son socle (fig. 1 5, page 3).

AVIS !
Ne saisissez pas la nouvelle lampe UV à mains nues, les traces de
graisse raccourcissent sa durée de vie.
➤ Insérez la nouvelle lampe UV Dometic dans le socle (fig. 1 5, page 3).
Veillez à ce que les tiges de la lampe soient bien insérées dans le socle.
➤ Collez un nouvel autocollant d’entretien comportant la date actuelle sur
l’ancien afin que vous sachiez quand vous devez remplacer la lampe UV.
➤ Retirez la bande à nanostructure (fig. 1 2, page 3) de son support.

➤ Placez la nouvelle bande à nanostructure dans le support, dans le sens
de la longueur.
Peu importe quel côté est orienté vers la lampe UV.
➤ Si nécessaire, nettoyez l’appareil (voir chapitre « Entretien et nettoyage
de Breathe Easy™ », page 40).
➤ Replacez le cache.
➤ Fixez le cache à l’aide des quatre vis.
➤ Raccordez l’appareil à l’alimentation électrique.

Laissez refroidir la lampe UV avant de la nettoyer.

Ne nettoyez jamais l’appareil à l’eau courante et ne le plongez
pas non plus dans l’eau.
N’utilisez ni produits abrasifs ni objets durs pour le nettoyage,
ceux-ci pouvant endommager l’appareil.
➤ Nettoyez de temps en temps l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un tissu doux
et sec.
➤ Retirez en particulier la poussière et la saleté qui s’est déposée autour
des orifices de ventilation.

➤ Nettoyez l’intérieur à l’air comprimé pour retirer les particules de
poussière.
➤ Nettoyez le ventilateur (fig. 1 1, page 3) avec une brosse douce lorsque
vous changez la lampe UV ou si vous constatez une réduction du flux
d’air.
➤ Nettoyez la bande amovible à nanostructure (fig. 1 2, page 3) si vous
constatez une réduction du flux d’air.
Pour ce faire, retirez la bande amovible à nanostructure du support et
nettoyez-la avec une brosse douce ou avec de l’eau et du produit
vaisselle.
Laissez-la sécher avant de la remettre dans son support.
➤ Nettoyez les bandes collées (fig. 1 4, page 3) avec une brosse douce.
➤ Si besoin, nettoyez la lampe UV avec un tissu doux et de l’alcool
isopropylique.
11 Recherche des pannes
Pas de tension (l’appareil ne s’allume pas, aucun bruit de ventilateur)
➤ Vérifiez si le câble de raccordement est raccordé à l’appareil et à
l’alimentation électrique.
➤ Vérifiez si le commutateur (fig. 2 1, page 3) est en position « I » ou
«II».
➤ Vérifiez la tension.
Le ventilateur fonctionne, aucune lumière bleue n’est visible.
➤ Vérifiez si la lampe UV (fig. 1 3, page 3) est correctement insérée dans
son socle (fig. 1 5, page 3) (voir chapitre « Remplacement de la lampe
UV et de la bande amovible à nanostructure », page 39).
➤ Remplacez le cas échéant la lampe UV (fig. 1 3, page 3) (voir chapitre
« Remplacement de la lampe UV et de la bande amovible à
nanostructure », page 39).
➤ Vérifiez si le socle de la lampe (fig. 1 5, page 3) n’est pas défectueux.

L’air n’est pas correctement purifié
➤ Assurez-vous que l’appareil est correctement installé :
– dans une pièce fermée
– pas à proximité de l’alimentation en air ou de l’évacuation d’air d’un
climatiseur
– la surface au sol de la pièce ne doit pas être supérieure à 46 m²
La puissance de purification est trop faible.
➤ Nettoyez les orifices de ventilation.
➤ Nettoyez la bande amovible à nanostructure (voir chapitre « Entretien et
nettoyage de Breathe Easy™ », page 40).
➤ Nettoyez la lampe UV (voir chapitre « Entretien et nettoyage de
Breathe Easy™ », page 40).
➤ Vérifiez si la lampe UV doit être remplacée. Pour ce faire, regardez sur
l’autocollant d’entretien depuis combien de temps la lampe UV est
utilisée.

Le délai légal de garantie s'applique. Si le produit s'avérait défectueux,
veuillez vous adresser à la filiale du fabricant située dans votre pays (voir

mediante nanotecnología de malla fotocatalítica y luz UV, mejora la calidad
del aire haciéndolo circular varias veces a través del aparato.

Tenga en cuenta que el aparato no elimina la fuente de olores
molestos permanentes. Por ejemplo, si una fuga es fuente de
moho y olores molestos, está deberá taparse y se deberá eliminar
el moho.

Siga estos pasos para montar el aparato:
➤ Con ayuda de las ventosas, fije el aparato sobre una superficie plana y
lisa.
➤ Apunte la fecha actual en el autoadhesivo de mantenimiento (fig. 2 3,
página 3). De este modo sabrá cuándo tendrá que reemplazar la lámpara
UV el próximo año.

¡ADVERTENCIA!
No fije la vista de manera directa en la luz UV. Ésta puede dañar
sus ojos.
➤ Conecte un extremo del cable de conexión de 12 V al enchufe de
conexión (fig. 2 2, página 3).
➤ Conecte el otro extremo del cable de conexión a una toma de 12 V.
➤ Coloque el interruptor (fig. 2 1, página 3) en la posición deseada:
– II (máximo nivel de purificación, recomendado): El ventilador funciona
a máxima velocidad. Se enciende la lámpara UV (verá una luz azul a
través de las aberturas de ventilación).
– I: El ventilador funciona a baja velocidad. Se enciende la lámpara UV
(verá una luz azul a través de las aberturas de ventilación).
– 0: El ventilador y la lámpara UV se apagan.

9 Recambio de lámpara UV y de tira de
nanomalla recambiable
!
¡ATENCIÓN! ¡Las lámparas ultravioletas pueden provocar
lesiones!
Las lámparas ultravioletas están hechas de cristal y son, por tanto,
frágiles. Protéjase los ojos y utilice guantes de trabajo para
manipular lámparas ultravioletas.
Las lámparas UV tienen una vida útil limitada. Después de aprox. 9.000
horas de uso (corresponden a un año en funcionamiento continuo), las
lámparas UV pierden su efecto germicida. Por este motivo y aunque aún
emita luz, recambie la lámpara UV después de este tiempo.

NOTA
Cada encendido y apagado reduce en aproximadamente una hora
la vida útil de la lámpara UV.
Siga estos pasos para reemplazar la lámpara UV y la tira de nanomalla
recambiable:
➤ Desenchufe el aparato de la alimentación de tensión.
➤ Afloje los cuatro tornillos en las cuatro esquinas de la parte inferior de la
carcasa.
➤ Retire la cubierta.
➤ Espere 5 min. a que el aparato se enfríe.
➤ Extraiga la lámpara UV (fig. 1 3, página 3) del portalámparas (fig. 1 5,
página 3).

¡AVISO!
No toque la nueva lámpara UV con las manos descubiertas ya que
la grasa del cuerpo reduce la vida útil de la lámpara.
➤ Coloque la nueva lámpara UV Dometic en el portalámparas (fig. 1 5,
página 3).
Asegúrese de que el casquillo esté colocado correctamente en el
portalámparas.
➤ Pegue un nuevo autoadhesivo de mantenimiento con la fecha actual
sobre el anterior para saber cuándo tiene que recambiar nuevamente la
lámpara UV.

➤ Retire la tira de nanomalla (fig. 1 2, página 3) del soporte.
➤ Inserte la nueva tira de nanomalla a lo largo en el soporte.
Da lo mismo qué lado está orientado hacia la lámpara UV.
➤ Limpie el aparato en caso necesario (véase capítulo “Cuidado y limpieza
de Breathe Easy™” en la página 53).
➤ Coloque la cubierta.
➤ Fije la cubierta con los cuatro tornillos.
➤ Enchufe el aparato a la alimentación de tensión.

¡ADVERTENCIA!
No fije la vista de manera directa en la luz UV. Ésta puede dañar
sus ojos.
➤ Compruebe si la lámpara UV está encendida.
Verá una luz azul a través de las aberturas de ventilación.

No use ningún producto de limpieza abrasivo ni objetos duros,
ya que podrían dañar el aparato.
➤ Si es necesario, limpie el aparato por fuera con un paño suave y seco.
➤ Limpie en particular el polvo y la suciedad que se haya acumulado en las
aberturas de ventilación.
➤ Limpie el interior con aire a presión para quitar las partículas de polvo.

➤ Limpie el ventilador (fig. 1 1, página 3) con un cepillo blando cuando
cambie la lámpara UV o cuando note una reducción de la corriente de
aire.
➤ Limpie la tira de nanomalla recambiable (fig. 1 2, página 3) cuando note
una reducción de la corriente de aire.
Para ello, retire la tira de nanomalla del soporte y límpiela con un cepillo
blando o con agua y detergente.
Deje que se seque antes de insertarla en su soporte.
➤ Limpie la tira de nanomalla pegada (fig. 1 4, página 3) con un cepillo
blando.
➤ Si es necesario, limpie la lámpara UV con un paño suave y alcohol de
limpieza.
11 Localización de averías
Sin alimentación (el aparato no se enciende, no se escucha el
ventilador)
➤ Compruebe que el cable de conexión esté enchufado en el aparato y en
la alimentación de tensión.
➤ Compruebe que el interruptor (fig. 2 1, página 3) esté en la posición “I”
o “II”.
➤ Compruebe si hay alimentación.
El ventilador funciona pero no hay luz azul
➤ Compruebe que la lámpara UV (fig. 1 3, página 3) esté correctamente
colocada en el portalámparas (fig. 1 5, página 3) (véase capítulo
“Recambio de lámpara UV y de tira de nanomalla recambiable” en la
página 52).
➤ Si es necesario, recambie la lámpara UV (fig. 1 3, página 3) (véase
capítulo “Recambio de lámpara UV y de tira de nanomalla recambiable”
en la página 52).
➤ Compruebe que el portalámparas (fig. 1 5, página 3) no esté averiado.

El aire no se purifica
➤ Asegúrese de que el aparato esté instalado correctamente:
– en un espacio cerrado
– no junto a la entrada o salida de aire de un equipo de aire
acondicionado
– la superficie de la habitación no debe superar los 46 m²
La potencia de limpieza es muy limitada
➤ Limpie las aberturas de ventilación.
➤ Limpie la tira de nanomalla recambiable (véase capítulo “Cuidado y
limpieza de Breathe Easy™” en la página 53).
➤ Limpie la lámpara UV (véase capítulo “Cuidado y limpieza de
Breathe Easy™” en la página 53).
➤ Compruebe si es necesario recambiar la lámpara UV. Para ello, fíjese en
el autoadhesivo de mantenimiento hace cuánto que la lámpara UV está
en funcionamiento.
12 Garantía
Rige el plazo de garantía legal. Si el producto presenta algún defecto,
diríjase a su establecimiento especializado o a la sucursal del fabricante de
su país (ver direcciones en el dorso de estas instrucciones).
Para la tramitación de la reparación y de la garantía debe enviar también los
siguientes documentos:
una copia de la factura con fecha de compra,
el motivo de la reclamación o una descripción de la avería.
La lámpara UV no se incluye en la garantía.
13 Eliminación
➤ Deseche el material de embalaje en el contenedor de reciclaje
correspondiente.

Cuando vaya a desechar definitivamente el producto, infórmese en
el centro de reciclaje más cercano o en un comercio especializado
sobre las normas pertinentes de eliminación de materiales.

Le lampade a raggi ultravioletti possono causare lesioni
Le lampade a raggi ultravioletti sono in vetro e si possono rompere
facilmente. Indossare una protezione per gli occhi e guanti antitaglio quando
si usano le lampade a luce ultravioletta.

Dometic Breathe Easy™ (SKU 9108680632) è un purificatore d’aria che
migliora la qualità dell’aria grazie alla tecnologia di fotocatalisi nanometrica e
ai raggi UV, in quanto l’aria viene fatta circolare più volte attraverso
l’apparecchio.
I
NOTA
Fare attenzione che l’apparecchio non elimini la fonte di continui
odori sgradevoli. Ad esempio è necessario sigillare un perdita che
causa la formazione di muffa e di conseguenza la produzione di
odori sgradevoli ed eliminare la muffa.
L’apparecchio funziona a 12 Vg. Esso può venire messo in funzione solo
con l’adattatore di rete in dotazione (SKU 9108694411) a una rete di
alimentazione in corrente alternata 100–240 V.

Osservare le seguenti indicazioni nella scelta del luogo di montaggio.
L’apparecchio è concepito per ambienti con una superficie massima di
46 m².
Scegliere un posto in cui non viene impedita la circolazione d’aria.
Non montare l’apparecchio in ambienti in cui sono stoccati materiali
infiammabili o all’interno dei quali possono formarsi miscele di gas
esplosive.
Non montare l’apparecchio vicino alla presa/uscita dell’aria di un
condizionatore.
Tenere il cavo di collegamento lontano da superfici calde.
Montare l’apparecchio su una superficie liscia e piatta.
Per montare l’apparecchio procedere come descritto di seguito:
➤ Fissare l’apparecchio su una superficie piatta e liscia con l’ausilio di
ventose.
➤ Segnare la data attuale sull’etichetta di manutenzione (fig. 2 3,
pagina 3). In questo modo si sa quando è necessario sostituire la
lampada UV il prossimo anno.

AVVERTENZA!
Non guardare direttamente la luce UV, poiché potrebbe
danneggiare gli occhi.
➤ Collegare un lato del cavo di collegamento da 12 V alla presa di
collegamento (fig. 2 2, pagina 3).
➤ Collegare l’altra estremità del cavo di allacciamento a una presa da 12 V.
➤ Posizionare l’interruttore (fig. 2 1, pagina 3) nella posizione desiderata:
– II (livello di pulizia massimo, consigliato): la ventola funziona alla
velocità massima. La lampada UV è accesa (è visibile una luce blu
attraverso le aperture di aerazione).
– I: la ventola funziona a velocità minore. La lampada UV è accesa (è
visibile una luce blu attraverso le aperture di aerazione).
– 0: la ventola e la lampada UV sono spente.

ATTENZIONE! Le lampade a raggi ultravioletti possono
causare lesioni!
Le lampade a raggi ultravioletti sono in vetro e si possono rompere
facilmente. Indossare una protezione per gli occhi e guanti
antitaglio quando si usano le lampade a luce ultravioletta.
Le lampade UV hanno una durata limitata. Dopo ca. 9000 ore di esercizio
(corrispondenti a circa un anno di funzionamento continuo) le lampade UV
perdono la loro azione microbicida. Per questo motivo, una volta trascorso
questo intervallo di tempo, sostituire la lampada UV anche se emette ancora
luce.

NOTA
Ogni accensione/spegnimento accorcia la durata della lampada
UV di ca. un’ora.
Per sostituire la lampada UV e il film nanometrico sostituibile procedere
come descritto di seguito:
➤ Staccare l’apparecchio dall’alimentazione di tensione.
➤ Allentare le quattro viti ai quattro angoli del lato inferiore
dell’alloggiamento.
➤ Rimuovere il coperchio.
➤ Far raffreddare l’apparecchio per 5 min.
➤ Estrarre la lampada UV (fig. 1 3, pagina 3) dalla rispettiva base
(fig. 1 5, pagina 3).

AVVISO!
Non toccare la lampada UV nuova con le mani nude poiché il
grasso corporeo che rimane sulla superficie accorcia la durata
della lampada.
➤ Inserire la nuova lampada UV Dometic nella rispettiva base (fig. 1 5,
pagina 3).
Fare attenzione che i piedini di contatto della lampada siano inseriti
correttamente nella base.

➤ Incollare una nuova etichetta di manutenzione con la data attuale sopra
quella vecchia, in modo da sapere sempre quando la lampada UV deve
essere sostituita.
➤ Estrarre il film nanometrico (fig. 1 2, pagina 3) dal supporto.
➤ Inserire il nuovo film nanometrico longitudinalmente nel supporto.
È indifferente quale lato è rivolto verso la lampada UV.
➤ Se necessario, pulire l’apparecchio (vedi capitolo “Manutenzione e pulizia
di Breathe Easy™” a pagina 66).
➤ Applicare il coperchio.
➤ Fissare il coperchio con le quattro viti.
➤ Collegare l’apparecchio all’alimentazione di tensione.

AVVERTENZA!
Non guardare direttamente la luce UV, poiché potrebbe
danneggiare gli occhi.
➤ Controllare se la lampada UV è accesa.
Attraverso le aperture di aerazione è visibile una luce blu.

Far raffreddare la lampada UV prima di effettuare la pulizia.

Non pulire mai l’apparecchio sotto l’acqua corrente e non
utilizzare in nessun caso acqua di risciacquo.
Per la pulizia non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi o oggetti duri
poiché potrebbero danneggiare l’apparecchio.

➤ All’occorrenza pulire l’apparecchio esteriormente utilizzando un panno
morbido e asciutto.
➤ Rimuovere in particolar modo polvere e sporco sedimentato attorno alle
aperture di aerazione.
➤ Pulire l’interno dell’apparecchio con aria compressa per rimuovere le
particelle di polvere.
➤ In caso di sostituzione della lampada UV o se viene rilevata una riduzione
del flusso d’aria, pulire la ventola (fig. 1 1, pagina 3) con una spazzola
morbida.
➤ Se viene rilevata una riduzione del flusso d’aria, pulire il film nanometrico
sostituibile (fig. 1 2, pagina 3).
In questo caso estrarre il film nanometrico dal supporto e pulirlo con una
spazzola morbida oppure con acqua unita a detergente.
Lasciarlo asciugare prima di inserirlo nuovamente nel rispettivo
supporto.
➤ Pulire i film nanometrici incollati (fig. 1 4, pagina 3) con una spazzola
morbida.
➤ Eventualmente pulire la lampada UV con un panno morbido e con alcool
detergente.
11 Ricerca degli errori
Tensione assente (l’apparecchio non si accende, dalla ventola non
proviene alcun rumore)
➤ Controllare se il cavo di collegamento è collegato all’apparecchio e alla
linea di alimentazione della tensione.
➤ Controllare se l’interruttore (fig. 2 1, pagina 3) si trova nella posizione “I”
o “II”.
➤ Controllare la tensione.

➤ Controllare se la lampada UV (fig. 1 3, pagina 3) è inserita
correttamente nella rispettiva base (fig. 1 5, pagina 3) (vedi capitolo

pagina 65).
➤ Eventualmente sostituire la lampada UV (fig. 1 3, pagina 3) (vedi
capitolo “Sostituzione della lampada UV e del film nanometrico
sostituibile” a pagina 65).
➤ Controllare se la base della lampada (fig. 1 5, pagina 3) è guasta.
L’aria non viene pulita in maniera sufficiente.
➤ Assicurarsi che l’apparecchio sia disposto in maniera corretta:
– in un luogo chiuso
– non vicino alla presa/uscita dell’aria di un condizionatore
– la superficie dell’ambiente non deve essere superiore a 46 m²

➤ Pulire le aperture di aerazione.

Vale il termine di garanzia previsto dalla legge. Qualora il prodotto risultasse
difettoso, La preghiamo di rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore specializzato o alla
filiale del produttore del suo Paese (l'indirizzo si trova sul retro del manuale
di istruzioni).
Per la riparazione e per il disbrigo delle condizioni di garanzia è necessario
inviare la seguente documentazione:
una copia della fattura con la data di acquisto del prodotto,
un motivo su cui fondare il reclamo, oppure una descrizione del guasto.
La lampada UV è esclusa dalle prestazioni di garanzia.

Reparaties aan dit toestel mogen uitsluitend door vakmonteurs

grote gevaren ontstaan.
Neem contact op met de klantenservice indien er een reparatie
nodig is.
Personen die door hun psychische, sensorische of geestelijke
vaardigheden of hun onervarenheid of onwetendheid niet in
staat zijn het toestel veilig te gebruiken, mogen dit niet zonder
toezicht of instructie door een verantwoordelijke persoon doen.
Elektrische toestellen zijn geen speelgoed!
Gebruik het toestel buiten bereik van kinderen.

2.2 Veiligheid bij het gebruik van het toestel

WAARSCHUWING!
Kijk niet direct in het UV-licht. Het UV-licht kan uw ogen
beschadigen.
!
VOORZICHTIG!
Gebruik het toestel niet met natte handen.
Als het toestel in water valt, dient u het onmiddellijk van het
stroomnet te scheiden. Grijp niet in het water.
Neem het toestel niet meer in gebruik.
Gevaar door verhoogde ultraviolette (UV) straling!
Gebruik het toestel alleen als de afdekking volledig gemonteerd
is.

LET OP!
Gebruik het toestel uitsluitend in ruimtes, nooit buiten.
Stel het toestel nooit bloot aan vocht.
Let erop dat er de openingen niet verstopt raken. Reinig indien
nodig de openingen, voordat u het toestel in gebruik neemt.
Plaats het toestel nooit in ruimtes waarin nog niet uitgeharde
siliconeafdichtingen voorhanden zijn. De daarvan uitgaande
dampen blokkeren het fotokatalytische vermogen.
Gebruik uitsluitend de door de fabrikant aanbevolen
reserveonderdelen. Doet u dit niet, dan verliest u de aanspraak
op garantie.
De gezondheidsaspecten die het gebruik van dit toestel
betreffen alsook zijn mogelijkheden om de desinfectie van de

Dometic Breathe Easy™ (SKU 9108680632) is een luchtreiniger die met
fotokatalytische nano-meshtechnologie en UV-licht de luchtkwaliteit
verbetert door de lucht meermaals door het toestel te circuleren.

INSTRUCTIE
Gelieve er rekening mee te houden dat het toestel de bron van
aanhoudende geurhinder niet wegneemt. Zo moet bijvoorbeeld
een lek dat schimmel en hierdoor geurhinder veroorzaakt,
afgedicht worden en moet de schimmel verwijderd worden.
Het toestel wordt met 12 Vg gebruikt. Het mag alleen met de bijgeleverde
netadapter (SKU 9108694411) aan het 100–240-V-wisselstroomnet
gebruikt worden.

Neem de volgende instructies in acht bij de keuze van de montageplaats:
Het toestel is ontworpen voor ruimtes met een grondvlak van max. 46 m².
Kies een plaats waarop de luchtdoorstroming niet gehinderd wordt.
Monteer het toestel niet in ruimtes, waarin brandgevaarlijke stoffen zijn
opgeslagen of waar zich ontvlambare gassen kunnen vormen.
Monteer het toestel niet naast de luchttoevoer of -afvoer van een
airconditioning.
Houd de aansluitkabel uit de buurt van hete oppervlakken.
Monteer het toestel op een vlak, glad oppervlak.

Ga als volgt te werk om het toestel te monteren:
➤ Bevestig het toestel met behulp van de zuignappen op een vlak, glad
oppervlak.
➤ Noteer de actuele datum op de onderhoudssticker (afb. 2 3, pagina 3).
Zo weet u wanneer u de UV-lamp het volgende jaar moet vervangen.

WAARSCHUWING!
Kijk niet direct in het UV-licht. Het UV-licht kan uw ogen
beschadigen.
➤ Verbind een zijde van de 12 V aansluitkabel met de aansluitbus
(afb. 2 2, pagina 3).
➤ Verbind de andere zijde van de aansluitkabel met een 12 V stopcontact.
➤ Zet de schakelaar (afb. 2 1, pagina 3) op de gewenste positie:
– II (hoogste reinigingsstand, aanbevolen): de ventilator werkt met
hoogste snelheid. De UV-lamp brandt (u ziet een blauw schijnen door
de ventilatieopeningen).
– I: de ventilator werkt met laagste snelheid. De UV-lamp brandt (u ziet
een blauw schijnen door de ventilatieopeningen).
– 0: ventilator en UV-lamp zijn uitgeschakeld.

VOORZICHTIG! Ultraviolette lampen kunnen verwondingen
veroorzaken!
Ultraviolette lampen bestaan uit glas en zijn breekbaar. Draag een
oogbescherming en snijvaste handschoenen bij de omgang met
ultraviolette lampen.
UV-lampen hebben een beperkte levensduur. Na ca. 9000 bedrijfsuren
(komt overeen met een jaar continu gebruik overeen) verliezen UV-lampen
hun kiemdodende werking. Vervang de UV-lamp daarom na deze tijd, ook
als ze nog licht geeft.

INSTRUCTIE
Elk in- en uitschakelen verkort de levensduur van de UV-lamp met
ca. een uur.
Ga als volgt te werk om de UV-lamp en de verwisselbare nano-mesh-strook
te vervangen:
➤ Scheid het toestel van de spanningsvoorziening.
➤ Maak de vier schroeven aan de vier hoeken van de onderkant van de
behuizing los.
➤ Verwijder de afdekking.
➤ Laat het toestel 5 min. afkoelen.
➤ Trek de UV-lamp (afb. 1 3, pagina 3) uit de lampsokkel (afb. 1 5,
pagina 3).

LET OP!
Neem de nieuwe UV-lamp niet met blote handen vast, omdat het
achterblijvende lichaamsvet de levensduur verkort.
➤ Plaats de nieuwe Dometic UV-lamp in de lampsokkel (afb. 1 5,
pagina 3).
Let erop dat de lamppennen juist in de sokkel zitten.
➤ Plak een nieuwe onderhoudssticker met de actuele datum boven de
oude, opdat u weet wanneer u de UV-lamp moet vervangen.
➤ Neem de nano-mesh-strook (afb. 1 2, pagina 3) uit de houder.

➤ Steek de nieuwe nano-mesh-strook in de lengterichting in de houder.
Het is om het even welke zijde naar de UV-lamp gericht is.
➤ Indien nodig reinigt u het toestel (zie hoofdstuk „Breathe Easy™
onderhouden en reinigen” op pagina 80).
➤ Breng de afdekking aan.
➤ Bevestig de afdekking met de vier schroeven.
➤ Sluit het toestel aan op de spanningsvoorziening.

Kijk niet direct in het UV-licht. Het UV-licht kan uw ogen
beschadigen.
➤ Controleer of de UV-lamp brandt.
U ziet een blauw schijnen door de ventilatieopeningen.

LET OP!
Reinig het toestel nooit onder stromend water of in afwaswater.
Gebruik voor het reinigen geen bijtende reinigingsmiddelen of
harde voorwerpen, het toestel zou hierdoor kunnen
beschadigen.
➤ Reinig de buitenkant van het toestel regelmatig met een zachte droge
doek.
➤ Verwijder vooral stof en vuil dat zich rond de ventilatieopeningen afgezet
heeft.
➤ Reinig het binnenste met perslucht om stofpartikels te verwijderen.

➤ Reinig de ventilator (afb. 1 1, pagina 3) met een zachte borstel als u de
UV-lamp vervangt of als u een vermindering van de luchtstroom vaststelt.
➤ Reing de verwisselbare nano-mesh-strook (afb. 1 2, pagina 3) als u een
vermindering van de luchtstroom vaststelt.
Haal de nano-mesh-strook hiervoor uit de houder en reinig hem met een
zachte borstel of met water en afwasmiddel.
Laat hem drogen voor u hem in zijn houder steekt.
➤ Reinig de vastgeplakte nano-mesh-stroken (afb. 1 4, pagina 3) met een
zachte borstel.
➤ Reinig de UV-lamp evt. met een zachte doek en reinigingsalcohol.
11 Verhelpen van storingen
Geen spanning (het toestel schakelt niet in, geen ventilatorgeluid te
horen)
➤ Controleer of de aansluitkabel met het toestel en de
spanningsvoorziening verbonden is.
➤ Controleer of de schakelaar (afb. 2 1, pagina 3) op de stand „I” of „II”
staat.
➤ Controleer de spanning.
De ventilator loopt, geen blauw schijnen zichtbaar
➤ Controleer of de UV-lamp (afb. 1 3, pagina 3) correct in de lampsokkel
(afb. 1 5, pagina 3) steekt (zie hoofdstuk „UV-lamp en verwisselbare
nano-mesh-strook vervangen” op pagina 79).
➤ Vervang evt. de UV-lamp (afb. 1 3, pagina 3) (zie hoofdstuk „UV-lamp
en verwisselbare nano-mesh-strook vervangen” op pagina 79).
➤ Controleer of de lampsokkel (afb. 1 5, pagina 3) defect is.
De lucht wordt niet juist gereinigd
➤ Controleer of het toestel juist aangebracht is:
– in een gesloten ruimte
– niet naast de luchttoevoer of -afvoer van een airconditioning
– het grondvlak van de ruimte mag niet groter dan 46 m² zijn

Het reinigingsvermogen is te gering
➤ Reinig de ventilatieopeningen.
➤ Reinig de verwisselbare nano-mesh-strook (zie hoofdstuk
„Breathe Easy™ onderhouden en reinigen” op pagina 80).
➤ Reinig de UV-lamp (zie hoofdstuk „Breathe Easy™ onderhouden en
reinigen” op pagina 80).
➤ Controleer of de UV-lamp vervangen moet worden. Kijk hiervoor op de
onderhoudssticker om te zien hoe lang de UV-lamp in gebruik is.
12 Garantie
De wettelijke garantieperiode is van toepassing. Als het product defect is,
wendt u zich tot uw speciaalzaak of tot het filiaal van de fabrikant in uw land
(adressen zie achterkant van de handleiding).
Voor de afhandeling van de reparatie of garantie dient u de volgende
documenten mee te sturen:
een kopie van de factuur met datum van aankoop,
reden van de klacht of een beschrijving van de storing.
De UV-lamp is uitgesloten van de garantie.
13 Afvoeren
➤ Laat het verpakkingsmateriaal indien mogelijk recyclen.

➤ Forbind en ende af 12 V-tilslutningskablet med tilslutningsbøsningen
(fig. 2 2, side 3).
➤ Forbind den anden ende af tilslutningskablet med en 12 V-stikdåse.
➤ Stil kontakten (fig. 2 1, side 3) på den ønskede position.
– II (højeste rengøringstrin, anbefalet): Ventilatoren kører med højeste
hastighed. UV-lampen lyser (du ser et blåt lys gennem
ventilationsåbningerne).
– I: Ventilatoren kører med lav hastighed. UV-lampen lyser (du ser et

FORSIGTIG! Ultraviolette lamper kan forårsage kvæstelser!
Ultraviolette lamper består af glas og er skrøbelige. Bær øjenværn
og snitsikre handsker ved omgang med ultraviolette lamper.
UV-lamper har en begrænset levetid. Efter ca. 9000 driftstimer (svarer ca. til
et års konstant drift) mister UV-lamper deres kimdræbende virkning. Udskift
derfor UV-lampen efter denne tid, også selv om den stadig skaber noget lys.
I
BEMÆRK
Hver gang der tændes og slukkes, forkortes UV-lampens levetid
ca. en time.
Gå frem på følgende måde for at udskifte UV-lampen og den udskiftelige
nano-mesh-stribe:
➤ Afbryd apparatet fra spændingsforsyningen.
➤ Løsn de fire skruer i de fire hjørner på husets underside.
➤ Fjern afdækningen.
➤ Lad apparatet køle af i 5 min.
➤ Træk UV-lampen (fig. 1 3, side 3) ud af lampesoklen (fig. 1 5, side 3).

VIGTIGT!
Tag ikke i den nye UV-lampe med bare hænder, da kropsfedt, der
bliver siddende, forkorter levetiden.
➤ Sæt den nye Dometic UV-lampe i lampesoklen (fig. 1 5, side 3).
Sørg for, at lampestifterne sidder rigtigt i soklen.
➤ Klæb en ny vedligeholdelsesmærkat med den aktuelle dato over den
gamle, så du ved, hvornår du skal udskifte UV-lampen.
➤ Tag nano-mesh-striben (fig. 1 2, side 3) ud holderen.
➤ Sæt den nye nano-mesh-stribe på langs i holderen.
Det er ligegyldigt, hvilken side der vender mod UV-lampen.
➤ Rengør om nødvendigt apparatet (se kapitlet „Vedligeholdelse og
rengøring af Breathe Easy™“ på side 93).
➤ Sæt afdækningen på.

Anvend ikke skrappe rengøringsmidler eller hårde genstande
ved rengøringen, da de kan beskadige apparatet.
➤ Rengør af og til apparatet udvendigt med en blød, tør klud.
➤ Fjern især støv og smuds, der er aflejret omkring ventilationsåbningerne.
➤ Rengør det indre med trykluft for at fjerne støvpartikler.
➤ Rengør ventilatoren (fig. 1 1, side 3) med en blød børste, når du
udskifter UV-lampen, eller når du konstaterer, at luftstrømmen reduceres.

Tag nano-mesh-striben ud af holderen, og rengør den med en blød
børste eller med vand og opvaskemiddel.
Lad den tørre, før du sætter den i holderen.
➤ Rengør den fastklæbede nano-mesh-stribe (fig. 1 4, side 3) med en
blød børste.
➤ Rengør evt. UV-lampen med en blød klud og rengøringssprit.

➤ Kontrollér, om tilslutningskablet er forbundet med apparatet og

➤ Kontrollér, om UV-lampen (fig. 1 3, side 3) sidder korrekt i lampesoklen
