4Intended use
The BP124 lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack is a portable power supply for 24 V coolboxes.
Only the charger supplied may be used to charge the lithium-ion battery.
5 Technical description
The BatteryPack BP124 is a portable lithium-ion rechargeable battery that serves as a mobile power
supply for coolboxes.
The device has a back-light that can be switched on if required.

6.1 Charging the lithium-ion battery
WARNING!

➤ Place the charger (fig. 3 1, page 4) on a firm base.
➤ Fold the handle of the battery upwards.
➤ Connect the DC connecting lead (fig. 3 2, page 4) of the charger to the battery (fig. 3 3,
page 4).
➤ Connect the charger to the AC power supply.
✓ The LED on the charger shows the battery charge level:
– Red: battery charging is in progress
– Green: the battery is fully charged

If batteries are overcharged they may set on fire. Only use the charger supplied.
NOTE
•
The LED also shows green when there is no battery connected to the charger.
•
If the battery has not been charged for a long time, the charger will not immediately
show the charge level. Leave the battery connected to the charger until the LED
shows red.
✓ Charging takes around 5 hours.
NOTE

✓ When the battery is charged up, the charger switches off.
6.2 Supplying the cooler with power
➤ Connect the DC plug to your coolbox.
6.3 Checking the charge level
➤ If necessary, disconnect the charger from the battery.
➤ Press the P button.
✓ The battery shows the charge level. The more LEDs that light up, the higher is the battery
charge level.
If the battery has been completely discharged, the recharging process can take up to
10 hours.
6.4 Switching on the back-light
➤ Press and hold the P button for between one and three seconds.
✓ The back-light switches on.

➤ Press and hold the P button for between one and three seconds.

6.6 Replacing the fuse
To replace a blown fuse, proceed as follows (fig. 4, page 4):
➤ Using a cross-bladed screwdriver, release the fuse-holder cap by turning it anti-clockwise.
➤ Replace the fuse with one of the same rating.
➤ Using a cross-bladed screwdriver, refit the fuse-holder cap by turning it clockwise.
7 Maintaining and cleaning the device
NOTICE!
A
Do not use sharp or hard objects or cleaning agents for cleaning as these may damage
the product.
➤ Occasionally clean the product with a damp cloth.
NOTICE!
A
Fully charge the lithium-ion battery at least every two months. Overloading the battery
or storing it for too long without using it may cause permanent damage to the battery.
8Warranty
The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please contact the
manufacturer's branch in your country (see the back of the instruction manual for the addresses) or
your retailer.
For repair and guarantee processing, please include the following documents when you send in
the device:

A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
•
A reason for the claim or description of the fault

4 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Der Lithium-Ionen-Akku BP124 ist eine mobile Stromversorgung für 24-V-Kühlboxen. Zum Laden
des Lithium-Ionen-Akkus darf nur das mitgelieferte Ladegerät verwendet werden.
5 Technische Beschreibung
Das BatteryPack BP124 ist ein tragbarer Lithium-Ionen-Akku, der unterwegs die Stromversorgung
von Kühlboxen ermöglicht.
Das Gerät besitzt ein Rücklicht, das bei Bedarf zugeschaltet werden kann.

6.1 Lithium-Ionen-Akku aufladen
WARNUNG!

➤ Stellen Sie das Ladegerät (Abb. 3 1, Seite 4) auf eine feste Unterlage.
➤ Klappen Sie den Haltegriff des Akkus hoch.
➤ Schließen Sie das Gleichstrom-Anschlusskabel (Abb. 3 2, Seite 4) des Ladegeräts an den
Akku (Abb. 3 3, Seite 4) an.
Zu stark geladene Akkus können sich entzünden. Verwenden Sie nur das mitgelieferte
Ladegerät.
➤ Schließen Sie das Ladegerät an die Wechselstromversorgung an.
✓ Die LED des Ladegeräts zeigt den Ladezustand an:
– rot: der Akku wird aufgeladen
– grün: der Akku ist voll aufgeladen
HINWEIS

✓ Der Ladevorgang dauert ca. 5 Stunden.

✓ Nachdem der Akku aufgeladen ist, schaltet das Ladegerät ab.
Die LED leuchtet auch grün, wenn kein Akku an das Ladegerät angeschlossen ist.
•
Wenn der Akku längere Zeit nicht aufgeladen wurde, zeigt das Ladegerät den Ladezustand nicht sofort an. Belassen Sie den Akku am Ladegerät, bis die rote LED leuchtet.
HINWEIS
Wenn der Akku komplett entladen wurde, kann der Ladevorgang bis zu 10 Stunden
dauern.
6.2 Kühlbox mit Strom versorgen
➤ Schließen Sie den Gleichstromstecker an Ihre Kühlbox an.

6.3 Ladezustand prüfen
➤ Trennen Sie gegebenenfalls das Ladegerät vom Akku.
➤ Drücken Sie die Taste P.
✓ Der Akku zeigt den Ladezustand an. Je mehr LEDs leuchten, desto voller ist der Akku.
6.4 Rücklicht einschalten
➤ Drücken Sie die Taste P ein bis drei Sekunden lang.
✓ Das Rücklicht leuchtet.
6.5 Rücklicht ausschalten
➤ Drücken Sie die Taste P ein bis drei Sekunden lang.
✓ Das Rücklicht erlischt.
6.6 Sicherung austauschen
Tauschen Sie eine defekte Sicherung wie folgt aus (Abb. 4, Seite 4):
➤ Drehen Sie den Verschluss mit einem Kreuz-Schraubendreher gegen den Uhrzeigersinn auf.
➤ Tauschen Sie die Sicherung gegen eine gleichwertige Sicherung aus.
➤ Drehen Sie den Verschluss mit einem Kreuz-Schraubendreher im Uhrzeigersinn zu.
7 Gerät pflegen und reinigen

➤ Reinigen Sie das Produkt gelegentlich mit einem feuchten Tuch.

Keine scharfen oder harten Gegenstände oder Reinigungsmittel zur Reinigung verwenden, da dies zu einer Beschädigung des Produktes führen kann.
ACHTUNG!
Laden Sie den Lithium-Ionen-Akku spätestens alle zwei Monate komplett auf. Zu starke
Belastung oder zu lange Lagerung ohne Benutzung kann zu dauerhafter Beschädigung des Akkus führen.
8Gewährleistung
Es gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist. Sollte das Produkt defekt sein, wenden Sie sich bitte
an die Niederlassung des Herstellers in Ihrem Land (Adressen siehe Rückseite der Anleitung) oder
an Ihren Fachhändler.
Zur Reparatur- bzw. Gewährleistungsbearbeitung müssen Sie folgende Unterlagen mitschicken:
•
eine Kopie der Rechnung mit Kaufdatum,
•
einen Reklamationsgrund oder eine Fehlerbeschreibung.

Débranchez l'appareil du secteur
– avant tout nettoyage et entretien
– après chaque utilisation
– avant le changement d'un fusible

Si l’appareil ou le câble de raccordement présentent des dommages visibles, il est
interdit de mettre l'appareil en service.

La batterie lithium-ion BP124 est un bloc d'alimentation mobile pour glacières 24 V. Seul le chargeur fourni doit être utilisé pour charger la batterie lithium-ion.
5 Description technique
Le BatteryPack BP124 est une batterie lithium-ion portable, qui permet l'alimentation mobile des
glacières.
Le dispositif comporte un feu arrière qui peut être activé selon les besoins.

6.1 Rechargement de la batterie lithium-ion
AVERTISSEMENT !

➤ Placez le chargeur (fig. 3 1, page 4) sur une surface stable.
➤ Rabattez la poignée de l'accumulateur vers le haut.
➤ Raccordez le câble de raccordement au courant continu (fig. 3 2, page 4) du chargeur à
l'accumulateur (fig. 3 3, page 4) .
Des batteries trop fortement chargées peuvent s'enflammer. Utilisez uniquement le
chargeur fourni à la livraison.
➤ Raccordez le chargeur à l'alimentation en courant alternatif.
✓ La LED du chargeur affiche l'état de chargement :
– rouge : l'accumulateur est en cours de chargement
– vert : l'accumulateur est complètement chargé
REMARQUE

✓ La procédure de chargement dure env. 5 heures.

✓ Une fois que la batterie est chargée, le chargeur s'éteint.
La LED s'allume également en vert si aucune batterie n'est raccordée au chargeur.

Lorsque la batterie n'a pas été rechargée pendant une longue période, le chargeur
n'indique pas immédiatement l'état de charge. Laissez la batterie dans le chargeur
jusqu'à ce que la LED rouge s'allume.
REMARQUE
Si la batterie est complètement déchargée, le processus de charge peut prendre
jusqu'à 10 heures.
6.2 Alimentation de la glacière en courant
➤ Raccordez le connecteur de courant continu à votre glacière.

6.3 Contrôle de l'état de chargement
➤ Si nécessaire, débranchez le chargeur de la batterie.
➤ Appuyez sur la touche P.
✓ L'accumulateur affiche l'état de chargement. Plus le nombre de LEDs qui s'allument est grand,
plus la batterie est pleine.
6.4 Mise en marche du feu arrière
➤ Appuyez sur la touche P pendant une à trois secondes.
✓ Le feu arrière s'allume.
6.5 Extinction du feu arrière
➤ Appuyez sur la touche P pendant une à trois secondes.
✓ Le feu arrière s'éteint.
6.6 Remplacement du fusible
Pour remplacer un fusible défectueux, procédez comme suit (fig. 4, page 4) :
➤ Tournez la fermeture avec un tournevis cruciforme dans le sens antihoraire, pour l'ouvrir.
➤ Remplacez le fusible par un fusible équivalent.
➤ Tournez la fermeture avec un tournevis cruciforme dans le sens horaire, pour la fermer.
7 Entretien et nettoyage de l'appareil

➤ Nettoyez le produit avec un tissu humide.

N’utilisez aucun objet coupant ou dur, ni de détergents pour le nettoyage. Cela pourrait endommager le produit.

Chargez la batterie lithium-ion complètement au moins une fois tous les deux mois.
Une trop grande sollicitation ou un trop long stockage sans utilisation peuvent causer
des dommages irréversibles à la batterie.
8 Garantie
Le délai légal de garantie s'applique. Si le produit s'avérait défectueux, veuillez vous adresser à la
filiale du fabricant située dans votre pays (voir adresses au verso du présent manuel) ou à votre
revendeur spécialisé.

La batería de iones de litio BP124 es un sistema de energía portátil para neveras de 24 V. Esta batería de iones de litio solo se puede cargar con el cargador incluido en el suministro.

6.1 Cargar la batería de iones de litio
¡ADVERTENCIA!

➤ Coloque el cargador (fig. 3 1, página 4) sobre una base firme.
➤ Abata el asa de la batería hacia arriba.
➤ Conecte el cable de conexión de corriente continua (fig. 3 2, página 4) del cargador a la
batería (fig. 3 3, página 4).
Las baterías demasiado cargadas se pueden inflamar. Utilice únicamente el cargador
suministrado.
➤ Conecte el cargador a la alimentación de corriente alterna.
✓ El LED del cargador indica el nivel de carga:
– Rojo: la batería se está cargando
– Verde: la batería está completamente cargada

✓ El proceso de carga dura aproximadamente 5 horas.

✓ Una vez cargada la batería, el cargador se desconecta.
El LED se ilumina en verde también cuando no hay conectada una batería al cargador.
•
Si la batería no se ha recargado durante mucho tiempo, el cargador no indica inmediatamente el nivel de carga. Deje la batería en el cargador hasta que el LED rojo se
ilumine.
NOTA
Si la batería se ha descargado completamente, la carga puede durar hasta 10 horas.
6.2 Suministrar corriente a la nevera
➤ Conecte el enchufe de corriente continua en la nevera.

6.3 Control del nivel de carga
➤ Si es necesario, desconecte el cargador de la batería.
➤ Pulse la tecla P.
✓ El cargador indica el nivel de carga. Cuanto más LEDs se iluminan, más carga tiene la batería.
6.4 Conexión de la luz trasera
➤ Pulse la tecla P entre uno y tres segundos.
✓ La luz trasera se enciende.
6.5 Desconexión de la luz trasera
➤ Pulse la tecla P entre uno y tres segundos.
✓ La luz trasera se apaga.
6.6 Sustitución del fusible
Cambie un fusible averiado de la siguiente manera (fig. 4, página 4):
➤ Gire el cierre con un destornillador de cruz en sentido contrahorario.
➤ Sustituya el fusible por otro de las mismas características.
➤ Gire el cierre con un destornillador de cruz en sentido horario.
7 Mantenimiento y limpieza del aparato

➤ Limpie de vez en cuando el producto con un paño húmedo.

No utilice ningún objeto o producto de limpieza corrosivo o duro en la limpieza, ya
que podría dañar el producto.
¡AVISO!
Cargue completamente la batería de iones de litio como muy tarde cada dos meses.
Una solicitación demasiado alta o un almacenamiento demasiado prolongado puede
causar daños permanentes en la batería.
8 Garantía legal
Rige el plazo de garantía legal. Si el producto presenta algún defecto, diríjase a la sucursal del
fabricante de su país (ver direcciones en el dorso de estas instrucciones) o a su establecimiento
especializado.
Para la tramitación de la reparación y de la garantía debe enviar también los siguientes documentos:

una copia de la factura con fecha de compra,
•
el motivo de la reclamación o una descripción de la avería.
