UNDERSTAND SIGNAL WORDS
1. OPERATION
A. TO OPEN AWNING
1. Grasp the loop on the pull strap and pull down to extend awning then hook the loop onto the window strap hanger. FIG. 1 & 2.

B. TO CLOSE AWNING
1. Remove loop on pull strap from window hanger. FIG 2

CAUTION

Do not release strap as window awning is under tension. It may snap back against vehicle.
2. Slowly allow awning to close by feeding pull strap upwards and diagonally. This pre­vents the strap from building up and creat­ing a bulge in the fabric.
3. The awning is now ready for travel with no further locking required.
