CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ

Lors de l’utilisation de l’appareil, des précautions élémentaires sont à prendre, comme
indiqué ci-dessous :
– Lisez attentivement le mode d’emploi avant d’utiliser l’appareil.
– N’utilisez cet appareil que pour l’usage pour lequel il est prévu: le repassage.
– Avant de brancher l’appareil, vérifiez que le voltage de votre installation correspond à celui

inscrit sur la plaquette signalétique (sous le socle de la presse).

– Utilisez obligatoirement une prise de courant comportant une prise de terre, ceci pour votre

sécurité.
– Ne jamais mettre ni retirer la fiche dans la prise avec des mains mouillées.

Beim Gebrauch der Dampfbügelpresse beachten Sie bitte die folgenden

– Die Bügelpresse nur für Arbeiten einsetzen, für die sie entwickelt wurde: zum Bügeln.
– Stecker nie am Kabel aus der Steckdose ziehen.
– Das elektrische Kabel nicht mit Hitze in Verbindung bringen. Die Bügelpresse vor dem

Wegräumen ganz abkühlen lassen.
– Benutzen Sie Ihre Presse nicht, wenn das elektrische Kabel oder die Presse beschädigt

ist oder wenn Wasser aus der Presse rinnt. Um jedes elektrische Risiko zu vermeiden,

montieren Sie Ihre Presse nicht auseinander, sondern vertrauen Sie sie einem

Servicecenter zwecks Überprüfung oder Reparatur an.
– Wenn Sie in Kindernähe bügeln, ist eine besondere Aufsicht notwendig. Lassen Sie Ihre

Presse nie ohne Aufsicht eingeschaltet oder auf einem Bügelbrett stehen.

– Es darf nur kaltes Wasser benutzt werden.
– Halten Sie Ihre Hand beim Bügeln nicht zwischen Bügeltisch und Heizplatte.
– Reparaturen nur vom Fachmann ausführen lassen. Bei nicht fachgerechter Reparatur

entfällt der Garantieanspruch.

When using your ironing press, basic safety precautions should be followed, including

Incorrect reassembly can cause risk of electric shock when the ironing press is used.
– Close supervision is necessary when using your press with children around.
– To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance on the

same circuit.
– If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 10-ampere cord should be used.

Cords rated for less amperage may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the

cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
– Never immerse th machine in water or other liquids.
– Only use cold water.
– Do not put your hand between the steaming board and the heating plate while

ironing.
– For any repair, take your machine to a registered after-sales service centre, so that

the repair will be in accordance with the standards indicated in this instruction book.
– Any repair done by an unauthorized person would cancel the warranty.

BELANGRIJKE BEVEILIGINGEN

Bij gebruik van uw strijkpers dienen de grondveiligheidsmaatregelen in acht te worden
genomen, inclusief de volgende :
– Vordaat u de stekker van uw strijkpers in het stopkontakt steekt overtuigt u zich ervan dat

12. Always disconnect ironing press from electrical outlet when not in use.

13. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts or steam. Use caution when you
handle an ironing press.

Precauzioni da prendere quando si utilizza la pressa da stiro :
– Leggere tutte le istruzioni prima di utilizzare la pressa.
– Utilizzare la pressa solo per l’uso per il quale è prevista : la stiratura.
– Prima di collegare la pressa da stiro, controllare il voltaggio sulla targhetta segnaletica

(applicata sotto la base della pressa) ed assicurarsi che corrisponda alla tensione di rete.

– Utilizzate obbligatoriamente una presa di corrente che comporti una presa di terra, e questo

per la vostra sicurezza.

– Non mettere mai la spina nella presa e non togliere mai la spina dalla presa con le mani

bagnate.

– Per mettere la pressa fuori circuito, non tirare mai sul cavo elettrico, ma sulla presa di

RECOMENDACIONES

Al utilizar la prensa planchadora se deben tomar algunas precauciones elementales, como
las que se indican a continuación :
– Antes de conectar la prensa planchadora, verifique que el voltaje de su instalación

corresponda al de la plaquita descriptiva (situada bajo el zócalo de la prensa).
– Lea todas las instrucciones antes de utilizar la prensa.
– Utilice la prensa planchadora solamente para el uso para el cuál está prevista, es decir

el planchado.
– Para desconectar la prensa, nunca tire del cordón de alimentación sino del enchufe.
– Procure que el cordón de alimentación no toque ninguna superficie caliente. Deje que la

prensa se enfríe por completo antes de guardarla.

Ao utilizar a sua máquina de passar a ferro, deve seguir algumas regras básicas de

The cores in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code :
BLUE : NEUTRAL BROWN : LIVE GREEN AND YELLOW : EARTH

CONNECTING INSTRUCTIONS

As the colours of the cores in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug proceed as follows : the core
which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.
The core which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.
The core which is coloured GREEN or GREEN and YELLOW must be connected with the terminal which is marked with the letter E or the earth simbol or coloured

fuse to BS 1362 must be fitted, and the fuse cover must be replaced. If you lose or damage the fuse cover, the plug MUST NOT be used until a replacement is obtained

INSTALLATION

1. Déballez votre appareil.

Appuyez sur la poignée et libérez

4. OUVERTURE ET FERMETURE
DE LA PRESSE

La poignée sert à fermer et ouvrir la
semelle chauffante. En l'abaissant, la
machine se ferme. La pression de
repassage est enclenchée
progressivement et automatiquement.
Il est inutile d'appuyer de toutes vos
forces sur la poignée car la pression
est automatique.
La poignée permet la commande
automatique de la vapeur (voir
chapitre : Génération de vapeur).
Attention : certaines presses
s’ouvrent automatiquement.
Accompagnez toujours la poignée vers
le haut à l’aide de la main.

5. OUVERTURE MAXIMUM

Pour une plus grande ouverture de la
presse : ouvrez la presse et continuez
à pousser la poignée vers le haut. La
table vaporisante se dégage et peut
être utilisée comme une planche
classique. La grande ouverture permet
une manipulation plus aisée des
grandes pièces et s'utilise également à
l'occasion du pliage du linge. Le
plateau chauffant reprendra
automatiquement sa place en
redescendant la poignée.

ÖFFNEN UND SCHLIESSEN DER

PRESSE

Der Griff dient zum Öffnen und Schließen
der Heizplatte. Wenn der Griff nach unten
gedrückt wird, schließt sich die Presse.
Der Bügeldruck entsteht progressiv und
automatisch. Der Griff erlaubt die
automatische Dampferzeugung (siehe :
“Dampferzeugung”). Schon leichtes
Andrücken genügt, da der Bügeldruck
automatisch erzeugt wird.
Achtung : Einige Modellen von Presse
öffnen sich automatisch. Führen Sie
stets den Griff, mit der Hand, nach
oben.

Die Presse läßt sich weiter als normal
öffnen : Öffnen Sie die Presse, und
drücken Sie den Griff weiter nach oben.
Das Dampfbügelbrett ist noch besser
erreichbar und kann wie ein normales
Bügelbrett benutzt werden. Die höchste
Öffnungsstufe erlaubt, große
Wäschestücke einfacher zu bedienen und
hilft beim Zusammenlegen der Wäsche.
Die Heizplatte geht automatisch in ihre
Stellung zurück, sobald der Griff
herabgezogen wird.
