Turn off all controls before unplugging. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present. Keep the vacuum cleaner on the floor. Only the hand-held vacuum cleaners may

Flip the ultra edger (located on the right side of the nozzle) so the edge bristles face down. The edge bristles provide effec­tive baseboard cleaning. Return to stored position for normal vacuuming.

The *Dirt Sensor system uses optics to detect existing dirt. A red light illuminates when dirt is detected and turns off when your carpet is clean. DlRT DETECTION, MAKE SURE CLEANER IS ON PROP­ER HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT SETTING. may cause sensor light to illuminate for long periods of time due to the over abundance of small carpet fibers. The sensor will continue to detect these new carpet fibers until they are gone, which may take many passes with the cleaner.
