The heater is tted with a length of exible cable for connection to the xed wiring
of the premises through a suitable double pole switched fused spur, with the fuse
rated correctly for the appliance, positioned adjacent to the heater. The supply
circuit to the heater must incorporate a double pole isolating switch having a
contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles.
DO NOT use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or
swimming pool.
DO NOT place heater immediately below a socket outlet.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/o the
appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal
operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children
aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the
appliance or perform user maintenance.

Momentary contact with any part of the heater should not cause injury. However
aged, inrm persons or young children should not be left unsupervised in the
vicinity of the heater.

CAUTION - In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal
cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device,
such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and o by
the utility.
If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or service
agent or a similarly qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.
During initial heat-up, some odour may be emitted from the heater due to the
newness of materials used in manufacture. This is normal and will disappear after
a short period of use. It is however advisable to keep the room well ventilated.
WARNING: KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
• Swallowing may lead to serious injury in as little as 2 hours or death, due to
chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.
• If you suspect your child has swallowed or inserted a battery go straight to a
hospital emergency room.
• Examine devices and make sure the battery compartment is correctly
secured, i.e. that the battery cover is tted securely. Do not use if the
compartment is not secure.
• Dispose of used batteries immediately and safely. Flat batteries can still be
dangerous.

General
This heater has been designed for tting in the space behind the plinth of oor standing
kitchen units or other tted furniture units. It is recommended that the heater is not
installed under cupboards used for storing perishable goods. It can be accommodated
in plinths with a minimum height of 150mm, and is suitable for cupboards of 1000mm
width and above.
Installation
WARNING: The installation of this appliance should be carried out by a competent
electrician and be in accordance with the current IEE wiring regulations
and any local or insurance regulations.
Before undertaking installation work, ensure the electricity supply is disconnected
from any relevant xed wiring.
The heater is more easily tted during the installation of new furniture units, or on
existing furniture units if they can be temporarily moved from their position against
the wall. If an existing furniture unit cannot be moved, then it may be necessary to
remove the back of the unit in order to gain access to carry out the wiring installation.
Before installing the unit consider the location with respect to the following;
• The electrical supply and cable length.
• Position heater to deliver heat eectively without causing personal discomfort
from overheating while standing at work surfaces etc.
• Minimum plinth height of 150mm and minimum furniture unit width of 1000mm.

1. Cutting the aperture in the Plinth
Cut aperture in furniture unit plinth to dimensions shown. This must be positioned so
that the minimum distance from the bottom of the aperture to the TOP surface of any
oor covering is not less than 12mm.
If an overhang above the heater is greater than 75mm, then a distance of at least
100mm must be maintained between the overhang and the uppermost part of the
heater
NOTE:
If fitted in corner with adjacent cupboards to left hand side of heater
then a distance of at least 150mm must be maintained between the
left hand end of the heater and the front of the adjacent cupboard
door
*This minimum dimension must be maintained above the top surface of any oor
covering material. All dimensions in millimetres
2. Fitting the Rear Support Bracket
The heater is supplied with a rear support bracket. Fit to the back of the appliance
with the two screws supplied. Adjust the rear support bracket so that unit is level. The
slots in the rear support bracket allow it to be adjusted to the required height.
3. Marking the Fixing Positions
Slide the heater into position in the plinth aperture. Mark the six xing holes, two on
each side and two on the top. Remove the heater and drill 2mm pilot holes.
4. Mounting the Heater into the Plinth
When the cable connection has been made and the rear support bracket adjusted,
slide the heater into the aperture ensuring that it is adequately supported and that
the inlet grille is not obstructed. Use the six screws provided to secure the heater to
the plinth.

5. Colour Options
Your product is supplied with a choice of 3 dierent nishes, Brown (supplied with the
heater), White or Stainless Steel.
The white grille and stainless steel grille are supplied separately as attachments for the
front of the heater. If you require the white or the stainless steel nish, place the chosen
grille against the heater over the xed brown grille and secure the product plus preferred
grille using the six screws.

Remote Control
The product is supplied with a Bluetooth remote control, the remote control should be
contained in the carrier bag along with these instructions. This remote control is required
to operate the appliance. When paired with the remote control various operational modes
and features can be accessed.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The remote control is required to operate the appliance. It is important
that the remote control remains near the appliance at all times.

Fitting the Batteries:
The remote requires two AA batteries, these are supplied with the product contained
in the bag along with the instructions and remote.
To t the batteries:
1. On the rear of the remote, remove the
battery cover by pushing the catch
downwards and pulling outwards in one
motion.
2. It should be possible to completely remove
the battery cover to reveal the battery
cavity.
3. Carefully insert the new batteries, ensuring
the polarity is correct. Ensure the ‘+’ and
‘-‘ signs on the batteries match the signs
marked inside the battery cavity.
4. Once the batteries are in place, replace the cover, ensuring the clip has engaged fully.
Once the batteries have been successfully tted the remote control will immediately
start scanning for a product to control. At this stage it is necessary to complete the
pairing process, see Remote Pairing Instructions.
Remote control cradle:
The remote control is supplied with a wall
mounting cradle. If desired, mount the cradle in
a suitable location. The cradle can be mounted
using suitable screws and the appropriate wall
xing solution, not supplied.
Mark and drill the wall accordingly to mount
the remote control cradle. The remote control
can also be xed to the cradle using the
bottom xing screw. The use of this screw is
optional, particularly if the remote will be used
as a portable device.
NOTE:
If the remote cradle is not initially required please store in a suitable
location in case of future use. The bottom fixing screw should also be
stored with the cradle

Remote Pairing Instructions
To pair the product to the Bluetooth remote:
1. Press the Bluetooth button which is located on the front of the product. The product
will emit a beep and begin to broadcast a signal to be paired via Bluetooth.
NOTE:
If no remote pairs within 2 minutes, the product will stop broadcasting.
2. Wake the remote by briey holding the ENTER
button.
Once awake the remote will then immediately
search for the product. This is indicated by the
rotating loading graphic and ashing connectivity
icon. on the remote followed by the pairing
sequence.

NOTE:
The remote will attempt to pair with the first product it finds. Please
ensure that no other products are broadcasting within the vicinity to
prevent pairing to the incorrect product.
3. The remote will search for devices for 1 minute. If no product can be found, the
remote will display ‘NO PROD’ before returning to a sleep state. If this happens,
please repeat steps 1 and 2.
4. If connection is successful the product will emit a second beep and the remote
screen will show a solid connectivity icon for 4 seconds then revert to the home
screen.
