Operator’s Manual

Congratulations for purchasing DIGIWEIGH BT series precision pocket scale. With normal care and proper

treatment, the scale will provide years of reliable service. Please take a few minutes to read the Operator’s

Manual so that you can become acquainted with the proper usage and special features of your DIGIWEIGH
pocket scale.

SPECIFICATIONS

Please check the rating label located on the bottom of your scale and find the capacity and readability. Now

HOW TO USE THE SCALE

Place the scale on a rigid horizontal flat surface.
Hold both side of the cover and slide the cover to the left to expose the plat form. Or you can pull the sliding

cover out to use it as a scoop. Slide the cover back in after using.
Take out the tray on the platform and flip it over to use it as a tray if needed.

Press ON/OFF button to switch on the scale and wait until “0.0” is showed on the display screen. Please

make sure the scale is under the environment with stable temperature.
Put the object(s) on the center of the platform. Wait until the display is stable. The readout equals the

weight of the object(s) on the platform.
Press MODE button to choose different weighing units.
After use, just press ON/OFF to switch off the scale. Slide the cover back in.

HOW TO USE TARE FUNCTION

Tare function can make it easier to weigh tiny things or liquid.
Press ON/OFF button to switch on the scale. Put the container of weighing object(s) on the center of

platform, press TARE button and the screen shows “0.0”. Take the container off and put the weighing
object(s) in the container and put the container again on the center of the platform.

Wait until the screen is stable, the readout equals the weight of the weighing object(s).

MAINTENANCE

Avoiding any exposure to extreme heat or coldness. Your scale works better when operated at normal room
temperature. Always allow the scale to acclimate to normal room temperature for at least one hour before
using.

Keep your scale in a clean environment. Dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, air currents and close distance to
other electronic equipment may cause an adverse effect on the reliability and accuracy of your scale.

Handle the scale with care. Gently apply all items to be weighed onto tray top. Although this scale is
designed to be quite durable, try to avoid rough treatment as this may permanently damage the internal
parts. Avoid shaking or dropping the scale. This is a precision instrument and must be handled with
extreme care.

HOW TO CALIBRATE THE SCALE

Although your scale was calibrated before shipping, due to different gravity in different part of the globe, a
from-time-to-time calibration will keep your scale always accurate.

Put the scale on a stable flat surface and in the status of ON, press CAL button and the screen shows “CAL”
and then “0.0”. Wait 2 second for scale self-zero-tracking, the scale will show the standard weight on the
screen. Put standard weight on the platform. (Please refer to the following standard weight for your model)

Model DW-250BT: 250 gram Class 4 and up Model DW-350BT: 350 gram Class 4 and up
Model DW-500BT: 500 gram Class 4 and up
Wait for 5 seconds, press the CAL button, the screen shows weight of the standard weight then shows

“PASS” and then weight of the standard weight again. Press ON/OFF button to switch off the scale.
Calibration is complete.
