This device distributes music from your PC throughout your house via
the power circuit.
Naturally, you aren’t restricted to just music—you can enjoy your
audio collection anywhere in the house at top CD quality—in your
living room, kitchen, bathroom, or even out on the patio.

With the dLAN Audio extender you can set up your own audio network using the existing electrical wiring in your home! Music in the

HomePlug adapter gives you the greatest possible flexibility in choosing your location. All you need to connect your PC or server is one

The dLAN Audio extender enhances your dLAN
HomePlug network for a wide variety of audio
applications. You can now keep your favourite
tracks on a music server and play them on your
HiFi system anywhere within range of your household mains circuit. Naturally, the PC or server with
your digital music archive must be integrated within the network. Simply plug the dLAN duo
HomePlug adapter (included in the Starter Kit) into
a free power socket and connect it to the PC using
either an Ethernet or USB cable.

The dLAN Audio extender also provides music or
other audio files from a central PC or music server
to your active speakers via your household mains
circuit. Take advantage of even greater flexibility
and enjoy your music or audiobooks in any room
using your active speakers.

1. Unpack the dLAN Audio extender,
plug the stereo RCA cable into it and
2. Plug the device into a free power socket next to
your HiFi system. Use the RCA cable to connect the
adapter to your HiFi. Additionally, your dLAN
Audio extender supports active speakers—simply
use a mini-jack cable to connect them to the adapter.
3. Plug the dLAN duo into a free power socket
next to your PC and connect the adapter to the PC
using an Ethernet or USB cable.
4. Insert the included CD into your PC and install
the software. This will take less than a minute.
Once the installation is complete, you can use the
application immediately. Play your tracks on the PC
and listen to them on the speakers of your desired
HiFi system or active speaker set.
