Safety Instructions
Before installation, maintenance or lamp replacement, ensure that the mains supply to the
luminaire is switched off and the circuit supply fuses are removed or circuit breaker turned off.
It is recommended that a qualified electrician is consulted or used for the installation of this
luminaire and installed to the current edition of the IEE wiring regulations.
This luminaire is only suitable to be installed outside of Zone 2 in a bathroom. Check that the total load on the circuit, including this luminaire, does not exceed the rating of the
circuit cable, fuse or circuit breaker.
This luminaire is of Class II construction and does not need to be earthed.
Installation
Remove the two screws from the rear of the luminaire and remove the base. Remove the diffuser by squeezing in on it in line with the retaining clips and pulling the diffuser
away from the body.
Remove the lamp from the lampholders. Offer the luminaire to the mounting surface and mark out the fixing points. Feed the supply cable through the base and terminate the cables into the terminal block, ensuring
the correct polarity is observed.
This luminaire is of Class II construction and does not need to be earthed. Return the base to the luminaire and replace the 2 screws removed earlier. Offer the luminaire to the mounting surface and fit securely. Replace the lamp into the fitting. Replace the diffuser, ensuring the retaining clips are properly positioned.
Lamp Replacement
Ensure the power supply to the luminaire is switched off. Remove the diffuser as described above. Replace the lamp Return the diffuser
Operating Instructions
When using the shaver socket, ensure that the shaver plug is fully inserted into the socket and
that the Voltage Selection Switch is in the appropriate position.
The shaver socket is not intended for continues use or loads exceeding 20VA. Turn the light on/off by using the pull cord. This will not affect the operation of the shaver socket.
