Remote-info transmitter

Installation guide

Thank you for choosing our product through your installer.
EM.TI. enables a product theoretically reserved for installa-

tions with electronic meters to be used on installations with
electromechical meters.
It interfaces with the product and the counter by reproducing
the information normally provided by the remote information of
an electronic meter.

EM.TI. is delivered with a CT (current transformer).
If you have a three-phase system, you must order 2 additional
CTs (ref. 6330004).

EM.TI. generates the following remote information signals:

- power overload (ADPS),

- tariff information HC/HP,

- power consumption index in Wh (HC/HP).

IMPORTANT : EM. TI. is only guaranteed to operate cor­rectly in combination with the DELTA DORE range of pro­ducts.

Presentation

Mounted on a DIN rail, with the modular unit and CT on the
electrical switchboard.

Installing the CTs

(current transformers)

• The CT wire length (type H03VV-F or H05V-K) can be
extended by up to 1.5 m.

• It is possible to pass several conductors from the same
phase through a single CT (maximum interior Ø 10mm).

• CTs do not have a connection polarity.

and other accessories required by the standards are not illustrated.

- Standard UTE NF C15-100 and good practice must be complied with.

- Connected or nearby equipment must not generate excessive interference
(directive 89/336/EEC).

Choosing the circuit-breaker caliber

For EM.TI. to be able to evaluate tariff overshoots, you must
specify the contracted band and the type of meter (mono or
three-phase).
This is set using the swit­ches on the upper terminal
of the unit.

Example 1 :

You have a single-phase meter.

Your contract is for 9 kVA (45 A).

Example 2 :

You have a three-phase meter.

Your contract is for 12 kVA (20 A).

Important :

If no caliber or more calibers were selected, a

meter fault will be indicated on the product controlled.

Switching on

Switch the transmitter on and check that the remote-info LED
of the product controlled is on.

Starting up

• 230 V, 50 Hz power supply, +10%

• Class II insulation

• Power consumption:4 VA

• 3 : 10 mm max.) Rated operating current:2 to 90A, Cos. =
from 0.8 to 1

• One 230 V phase input for HC/HP contact

• 1 remote-info link output (use 6/10 single twisted pair cable
with continuity wire, max. length 1 m)

• Max. number of products to connect to the remote-info unit :5

• Storage temperature: -10°C to +70°C

• Operating temperature: 0 to +40°C

• Modular unit: 3 modules, h = 53 mm, mounted on DIN rail

• Protection index: IP 40

• Installation in an environment with normal pollution levels
