ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS (UK ONLY)

Before using this appliance ensure that the voltage indicated on the product corre­sponds with the main voltage in your home, if you are in any doubt about your sup­ply contact your local electricity company.

The flexible mains lead is supplied connected to
a B.S. 1363 fused plug having a fuse of 13 amp
capacity.Should this plug not fit the socket outlets in
your home, it should be cut off and replaced with
a suitable plug, following the procedure outlined
below.
Note: Such a plug cannot be used for any other
appliance and should therefore be properly dis­posed of, (having removed the fuse) and not left
where children might find it and plug it into a sup­ply socket - with the obvious consequent danger.
N.B. We recommend the use of good quality
plugs and wall sockets that can be switched off
when the machine is not in use.
IMPORTANT: the wires in the mains lead fitted
to this appliance are coloured in accordance
with the following code:

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of
this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured green and yellow
must be connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked with the letter E or by the earth
symbol or coloured green or green and yel­low.
The wire which is coloured blue must be con-

nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured brown must be con­nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
When wiring the plug, ensure that all strands of
wire are securely retained in each terminal. Do
not forget to tighten the mains lead clamp on the
plug. If your electricity supply point has only two
pin socket outlets, or if you are in doubt, consult
a qualified electrician.
Should the mains lead ever require replacement,
it is essential that this operation be carried out by
a qualified electrician and should only be
replaced with a flexible cord of the same size.
If the plug is a moulded-on type the fuse cover must
be refitted. If the fuse cover is lost, the plug must not
be used until a replacement cover is obtained. The
colour of the correct replacement fuse cover is that of
the coloured insert in the base of the fuse recess or
elsewhere on the plug. Always state this colour when
ordering a replacement fuse cover.
Only 13amp replacement fuses which are ASTA
approved to B.S. 1362 should be fitted.
This appliance conforms to the Norms EN
55014 regarding the suppression of radio inter­ference.

AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTI

- L’apparecchio dovrà essere destinato
esclusivamente all’uso per il quale è stato
espressamente concepito. Ogni altro uso è
da considerarsi improprio e quindi
pericoloso. Il costruttore non potrà essere
ritenuto responsabile di eventuali danni
derivanti da uso improprio, erroneo e
irresponsabile e/o da riparazioni effettuate
da personale non qualificato.

- Dopo aver tolto l’imballaggio, assicurarsi
dell’integrità del prodotto. In caso di dubbio,
non utilizzare l’apparecchio e rivolgersi
esclusivamente a personale qualificato.
Per rimuovere le polveri che potrebbero
essersi accumulate, è sufficiente spolverare
l’apparecchio con un panno morbido.

- Prima di inserire la spina nella presa di
corrente, verificare che:

- la tensione di rete corrisponda al valore

indicato nella targa dati, posta sotto
l’apparecchio.

- la presa di corrente sia dotata di una

sufficiente messa a terra: la casa

costruttrice declina ogni responsabilità
derivante dalla mancata osservazione di
questa norma.

- In caso di incompatibilità tra la presa e la
spina dell’apparecchio, fare sostituire la
presa con altra di tipo adeguato da
personale qualificato. É sconsigliabile l’uso di
adattatori, prese multiple, e/o prolunghe.
Qualora il loro uso si rendesse necessario,
utilizzare esclusivamente adattatori semplici
o multipli e prolunghe conformi alle vigenti
norme di sicurezza, facendo attenzione a
non superare il limite di potenza marcato
sull’adattatore e/o prolunga.

- Il sacchetto di plastica contenente il prodotto
non deve essere lasciato alla portata dei
bambini in quanto potenziale fonte di
pericolo.

- Quando l’apparecchio è collegato alla rete
di alimentazione e soprattutto quando è in
funzione non introdurre le mani nelle bocche
di caricamento (A);

- Non consentire l’uso dell’apparecchio a
persone (anche bambini) con ridotte capacità
psico-fisico-sensoriali, o con esperienza e
conoscenze insufficienti, a meno che non
siano attentamente sorvegliate e istruite da
un responsabile della loro incolumità.
Sorvegliare i bambini, assicurandosi che non
giochino con l’apparecchio.

- Non toccare l’apparecchio con le mani
bagnate o umide.

- Durante il funzionamento le pareti metalliche
e le zone circostanti le bocche di caricamento
(A) sono calde: operare sull’apparecchio
toccando solo manopole e maniglie in
plastica.

- Il pane è un alimento che può incendiarsi.
Non usare quindi questo apparecchio sotto o
accanto a tendaggi o altri materiali

combustibili.

- Non coprire l’apparecchio mentre è in uso.

- Non usare l’apparecchio a piedi nudi o
bagnati.

- Disinserire la spina dalla presa di corrente
quando l’apparecchio non viene utilizzato.

- Non lasciare l’apparecchio inutilmente
acceso perché potenziale fonte di pericolo.

- Non sfilare la spina dalla presa tirando il
cavo di alimentazione.

- Non lasciare l’apparecchio esposto agli
agenti atmosferici (pioggia, sole, gelo, ecc.).

- Prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione di
pulizia o di manutenzione, scollegare
l’apparecchio dalla rete di alimentazione
elettrica staccando la spina. Non immergere
l’apparecchio, il cavo di alimentazione o la
spina in acqua.

- In caso di guasto e/o di cattivo
funzionamento, spegnere l’apparecchio
senza manometterlo. Per eventuali
riparazioni e per la sostituzione del cavo di
alimentazione rivolgersi esclusivamente a
Centri di Assistenza tecnica autorizzati dal
costruttore.

- Conservare con cura le presenti istruzioni per
ulteriori consultazioni.

- L’apparecchio non è destinato a essere fatto
funzionare per mezzo di un temporizzatore
esterno o con un sistema di comando a
distanza separato.

Questo apparecchio è conforme alla Direttiva
2004/108/CEE relativa alla compatibilità
elettromagnetica.
I materiali e gli oggetti destinati al contatto con
prodotti alimentari sono conformi alle
prescrizioni del regolamento Europeo
1935/2004.

Avvertenze per il corretto smaltimento del prodotto
ai sensi della Direttiva Europea 2002/96/EC e del
Decreto Legislativo n. 151 del 25 Luglio 2005.

Alla fine della sua vita utile il prodotto
non deve esser smaltito insieme ai rifiu­ti urbani. Può essere consegnato pres­so gli appositi centri di raccolta diffe­renziata predisposti dalle amministra­zioni comunali, oppure presso i riven­ditori che forniscono questo servizio.
Smaltire separatamente un elettrodo­mestico consente di evitare possibili

conseguenze negative per l’ambiente e
per la salute derivanti da un suo smaltimento ina­deguato e permette di recuperare i materiali di
cui è composto al fine di ottenere un importante
risparmio di energia e di risorse. Per rimarcare
l’obbligo di smaltire separatamente gli elettrodo­mestici, sul prodotto è riportato il marchio del
contenitore di spazzatura mobile barrato. Lo
smaltimento abusivo del prodotto da parte del­l’utente comporta l’applicazione delle sanzioni
amministrative previste dalla normativa vigente.

USO DEI COMANDI

• Assicurarsi che la leva (B) sia sollevata e che
la manopola (G) sia impostata per il grado di
tostatura media.

• Collegare l’apparecchio alla presa di corrente.
Per eliminare l’odore di “nuovo” al primo
funzionamento, far funzionare l’apparecchio
senza alimenti per almeno 5 minuti. Aerare
la stanza durante questa operazione.

• Inserire le fette di pane nelle bocche di cari­camento (A), quindi abbassare la leva (B)
fino a fine corsa.
Nota: se l’apparecchio non è collegato alla
presa di corrente, la leva (B) non rimane
abbassata.

• Quando la tostatura è ultimata, il toaster
emetterà 3 brevi beep e la leva risalirà lenta­mente facendo salire anche le fette di pane.

• Se il toast non è sufficientemente dorato, sele­zionare un grado maggiore di tostatura ruo­tando la manopola (G).
Se invece il toast è troppo dorato, seleziona­re un grado inferiore.

• La tostatura può essere interrotta in qualsiasi
momento semplicemente premendo il pulsan­te “CANCEL” (F).
Attenzione: durante il funzionamento le boc­che di caricamento diventano molto calde.
Per estrarre le fette tostate, spingete le leva di
accensione verso l’alto: il carrello del pane
risalirà per altri 2cm consentendovi di affer­rare il pane senza scottarvi (extra-lift).
Non toccare!

Funzione “Scongelamento”

Potete tostare le fette di pane congelate premen­do il pulsante“DEFROST” (C) subito dopo aver
abbassato la leva (B); il ciclo di cottura sarà
allungato per raggiungere la doratura desidera­ta.
La spia luminosa rimarrà accesa fintanto che la
funzione defrost sarà in uso.

Funzione riscaldamento

Abbassare la leva di accensione (B) e premere il
pulsante di “REHEAT” (D). La spia di riscalda­mento rimarrà accesa durante l’uso di questa
funzione. Da notare che il tempo di riscaldamen­to è fisso e non può essere modificato interve­nendo sul controllo del grado di tostatura.

Funzione “bagel” (tostatura su un lato)

La funzione “bagel” consente la tostatura di
focaccine, pane, ecc. su un solo lato.

Le focaccine devono essere tagliate a metà;
abbassare la leva (B) di accensione e premere il
pulsante “BAGEL” (E), le resistenze esterne del
tostapane funzioneranno a piena potenza men­tre quelle interne a potenza ridotta.
La spia luminosa rimarrà accesa durante l’uso di
questa funzione.
NOTA: è consigliabile ridurre il grado di tostatu­ra normalmente usato nella funzione toast duran­te l’utilizzo della funzione bagel.

CONSIGLI

• Non fate funzionare l’apparecchio a vuoto (ovve­ro senza fette di pane).

• Non utilizzare fette di pane molto sottili o rotte.

• Non inserite alimenti che possono gocciolare
durante la cottura.
Oltre a rendere impegnative le operazioni di
pulizia, possono essere causa di incendi.
É inoltre importante pulire il vassoio raccoglibri­ciole da eventuali gocciolamenti prima di ogni
utilizzo.

• Non inserire (sforzando) alimenti troppo grandi.
Non inserire forchette o altri utensili all’interno del
toaster per estrarre il pane, in quanto potrebbe
danneggiare le resistenze dell’apparecchio.
Staccate la spina, capovolgete l’apparecchio e
scuotetelo leggermente per rimuovere eventuali
cibi incastrati.

PULIZIA - MANUTENZIONE

• Qualsiasi operazione di pulizia e manuten­zione deve essere fatta dopo aver disinserito
la spina dalla presa di corrente.

• Lasciare che l’apparecchio si raffreddi prima
di procedere alla pulizia.

• La parte esterna dell’apparecchio dev’essere
pulita con un panno umido. Non usare deter­genti abrasivi che potrebbero rovinare la
superficie.

• NON IMMERGERE IN ACQUA.

• Dopo ogni utilizzo, staccare la spina e svuo­tare il vassoio raccogli-briciole che si trova
sul fondo dell’apparecchio premendolo sulla
parte frontale: il cassettino uscirà lentamente
per 2cm, consentendovi di estrarlo facilmen­te dalla sua sede.

• Nel caso dei toast dovessero rimanere inca­strati, staccare la spina, capovolgere e scuo­tere leggermente il toaster.

• NON TOCCARE MAI ALCUNA PARTE DEL

TOASTER CON UTENSILI TAGLIENTI, SPE­CIALMENTE ALL’INTERNO DELLE BOCCHE DI
CARICAMENTO.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS

- The appliance is exclusively for the use for
which it has been expressly manufactured.
Any other use is to be considered inappro­priate and therefore dangerous. The manu­facturer cannot be held responsible for even­tual damage caused by inappropriate,
improper or irresponsible use and/or for
repairs made to the product by unauthorised
personnel.

- After having removed the appliance from the
packaging, make sure that the product is
complete and in perfect condition.

- The plastic bag in which the appliance was
packaged should be kept out of reach of chil­dren as it poses a suffocation hazard.
In order to remove the dust that may have
accumulated on the appliance, simply dust it
off with a soft cloth.

- Before inserting the plug into the electrical
outlet, make certain:

- the voltage of the outlet corresponds to the

value indicated on the information label,
attached to the appliance.

- the electrical outlet has sufficient grounding

capacity: the manufacturer declines any

responsibility for the lack of observation
of this norm.

- In the case of incompatibility between the
outlet and the plug of the appliance, have it
replaced by a qualified technician. The use
of adapters, multiple socket units and/or
extension cords is not recommended.
Whenever it may be necessary to use such
equipment, it is advisable to use only simple
or multiple adapters or extension cords which
comply with the current safety standards, and
make sure not to exceed the voltage limit of
the adapter or extension cord.

- When the appliance is plugged into the electri­cal outlet, and moreover, while it is turned on,
never place hands into the bread toasting slots
(A).

- The appliance is not intended for use by per­sons (including children) with reduced physi­cal, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concer­ning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should
be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.

- Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp

- The metal sides of the toaster and the areas

surrounding the bread slots (A) become very
hot during use: control the appliance tou­ching only the plastic dials and handles.

- Bread is a foodstuff which may catch fire.

Do not use this appliance under or next to
curtains or other combustible material.

- Do not cover the appliance while it is in use.

- Do not use the appliance with bare or wet feet.

- Unplug the appliance from the electrical
outlet when it is not in use.

- Do not leave the appliance on when not
being used as this may be potentially dange­rous.

- Do not unplug the appliance from the outlet
by pulling on the cord.

- Do not leave the appliance exposed to the
elements, (rain, direct sunlight, frost, etc.).

- Before doing any cleaning or operation,
unplug the appliance from the electrical
outlet. Do not immerse the appliance, the
plug, or the electrical cord in water.

- In case of break down or improper functio­ning of the appliance, turn off the appliance
without tampering with it. For necessary

USE OF THE COMMANDS

• Make sure that the lever (B) is raised and the
dial (G) is set for a medium toasting level.

• Connect the appliance to the electrical outlet.
In order to eliminate the “new” smell at the
first use, operate the appliance without any
food inside for at least 5 minutes. Aerate the
room during this operation.

• Place the slices of bread in the toasting slots
(A), then lower the lever (B) as far as it will
go. Note: if the appliance is not plugged into
an electrical outlet, the lever (B) will not
remain down.

• When toasting is complete, the toaster will
emit three short beeps and the lever will rise
slowly up, together with the slices of bread.

• If the bread is not sufficiently toasted, select a
darker degree of toasting by turning the dial
(G). If on the other hand it is too dark, select
a lighter degree of toasting.

• The toasting can be interrupted at any
moment simply by pressing the Stop/clear
button (F).
Caution: the Bread toasting slots becomes
very hot during operation.
To remove the slices of toast, push the ON
lever upwards. The bread carriage rises a
further 2 cm, enabling you to take hold of the
bread without burning yourself (extra-lift). ­Do not touch!

Defrost function

Frozen slices of bread may be toasted by press­ing the Defrost button (C) immediately after low­ering the lever (B); the toasting cycle will be
lengthened in order to achieve the desired
browning.
The warning light will remain lit while the defrost
function is in use.

Reheat function

Press down the ON lever (B) and press the
Reheating button (D). The reheat light will remain
on while the reheat function is in use. Please note
that this is a fixed reheat time which cannot be
adjusted by the browning control

Bagel function

The ”Bagel” function allows for the toasting of
bread or the browning of muffins, etc. on one
side only.
Muffins must first be sliced in half. Press down the

ON lever (B) and press the "bagel" button (E).
The outer resistances of the toaster will operate at
full power and the inner resistances at low power.
The warning light will remain lit while the Bagel
function is in use.
NOTE: when using the bagel function, you
should reduce the normal degree of toasting.

SUGGESTIONS

• Never use the appliance when it is empty
(when there is no bread inside).

• Do not use very thin or broken slices of
bread.

• Do not insert other foods that may drip
during the cooking process.
In addition to making the cleaning procedure
more difficult, these may cause fires.
It is also very important to clean the crumb
collection tray of any drippings before each
use.

• Do not insert (by force) foods that are too big
for the slots.

• Do not insert forks or other utensils into the
toaster in order to remove bread, in so far as
it may damage the resistance coils of the
appliance.
Remove the plug from the outlet and turn the
appliance over, gently shaking it to remove
the lodged item.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Any cleaning and/or maintenance operation
must be done after having removed the plug
from the electrical outlet.

• Let the appliance cool down before procee­ding with its cleaning.

• The external part of the appliance must be
cleaned with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasi­ve detergents that can ruin the surface.

• DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER.

• After each use, remove the plug from the
electrical outlet and empty the crumb collec­tion tray that is under the appliance by
pushing on the front. About 2 cm of the tray
will emerge slowly, allowing you to remove it
easily from its housing.

• Should some toast remain blocked in the toa­ster, remove the plug from the mains, turn the
toaster over and shake it gently.

• DO NOT TOUCH ANY PART OF THE TOAST-

ER WITH SHARP UTENSILS, ESPECIALLY
INSIDE THE BREAD TOASTING SLOTS.

personnel qualifié. Il est déconseillé d’utiliser des
adaptateurs, des prises multiples et/ou des ral­longes. Si leur utilisation s’avère absolument
nécessaire, utiliser exclusivement des adaptateurs
simples ou multiples ainsi que des rallonges
conformes aux normes de sécurité en vigueur, en
veillant à ne pas dépasser la puissance maxima­le indiquée sur l’adaptateur et/ou sur la rallonge.

- Lorsque l'appareil est branché au réseau d’ali­mentation et en particulier lorsqu’il est en marche,

UTILISATION DES COMMANDES

• Assurez-vous que le levier (B) est soulevé et
que le bouton (G) est réglé sur le degré de
grillage moyen.

• Branchez l’appareil. Pour éliminer l’odeur de
neuf, lors de la première mise en service, fai­tes fonctionner l’appareil sans aliments pen­dant au moins 5 minutes. Aérez la pièce pen­dant cette opération.

• Introduisez les tranches de pain dans les fen­tes (A) et baissez complètement le levier (B).
Remarque : si l’appareil n’est pas branché, le
levier (B) ne restera pas baissé.

• Quand le grillage est terminé, le grille-pain
émet 3 bips courts et le levier remonte en fai­sant remonter également les tranches de pain.

• Si le pain n’est pas suffisamment doré, sélec­tionnez un degré supérieur de grillage en
tournant le bouton (G). Si en revanche le pain
est trop grillé, sélectionnez un degré inférieur.

• Le grillage peut être interrompu à tout
moment en appuyant la touche stop/clear (F).
Attention: pendant le fonctionnement, les
ouvertures de chargement et les volets devien­nent très chauds.
Pour extraire les tranches grillées, poussez le
levier de marche vers le haut : le chariot du
pain remontera de 2 autres cm et vous pour­rez retirez le pain sans vous brûler (extra lift)
Ne les touchez pas !

Fonction “décongélation”

Vous pouvez faire griller des tranches de pain
congelées en appuyant sur la touche Defrost (C)
tout de suite après avoir baissé le levier (B); le
cycle de cuisson sera prolongé de manière à
atteindre le grillage souhaité.
Le voyant reste allumé tant que la fonction Defrost
est active.

Fonction réchauffage

Baissez le levier de marche (B) et appuyez sur la
touche de réchauffage (D). Le témoin de réchauf­fage restera allumé pendant l’utilisation de cette
fonction. N’oubliez pas que le temps de réchauf­fage est fixe et qu’il ne peut pas être modifié en
réglant le degré de grillage.

Fonction “bagel” (pour griller d’un seul côté)

La fonction “bagel” permet de griller des fougas­ses, du pain, etc. d’un seul côté.
Les fougasses doivent être coupées en deux ;
baissez le levier (B) de marche et appuyez sur la

touche “bagel” (E). Les résistances extérieures du
grille-pain fonctionneront à pleine puissance, les
résistances internes à puissance réduite.

Le voyant restera allumé pendant l'utilisation de
cette fonction.
REMARQUE: pendant la fonction bagel, il est
conseillé de réduire le degré de grillage normale­ment utilisé dans la fonction toast.

CONSEILS

- Évitez de faire fonctionner l'appareil à vide

(sans tranches de pain).

- Évitez les tranches de pain trop fines ou cas-

sées.

- Évitez d’introduire des aliments qui pour-

raient goutter pendant la cuisson.
Non seulement ils compliquent le nettoyage
de l'appareil mais ils risquent de provoquer
des incendies.
Il est important, en outre, de nettoyer le tiroir
ramasse-miettes avant chaque utilisation.

- Évitez d’introduire (en forçant) des aliments

trop grands.

- Évitez d’introduire des fourchettes ou autres

ustensiles pour extraire le pain, vous pourriez
abîmer les résistances de l’appareil.
Pour faire sortir les morceaux coincés,
débranchez l’appareil, retournez-le et
secouez-le légèrement.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

- Débranchez l’appareil avant toute opération

de nettoyage ou entretien.

- Laissez refroidir l'appareil avant de le net-

toyer.

- Nettoyez l’extérieur avec un chiffon humide.

Évitez les détergents abrasifs, ils pourraient
abîmer la surface.

- ÉVITEZ D’IMMERGER L’APPAREIL DANS

L’EAU.

- Après chaque utilisation, débranchez l’appa-

reil et videz le tiroir ramasse-miettes qui se
trouve dans le bas en appuyant sur le devant
le tiroir sortira lentement sur 2 cm et vous
pourrez l’extraire facilement.

- Si des tranches de pain restent coincées dans

l'appareil, débranchez celui-ci, retournez-le
et secouez-le légèrement.

GEBRAUCH DER BETRIEBSSCHALTER

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Hebel (B) in

gehobener Stellung und der
Bräunungsgradregler (G) auf den mittleren
Bräunungsgrad eingestellt ist.

• Schließen Sie das Gerät an der Steckdose an.
Um bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme den Geruch
des “Neuen” zu beseitigen, lassen Sie das
Gerät mindestens 5 Minuten leer arbeiten.
Lüften Sie während dieses Vorgangs den Raum.

• Führen Sie die Brotscheiben in die
Einführschlitze (A) ein, und drücken Sie den
Hebel (B) bis zum Anschlag nach unten.
Hinweis: Ist das Gerät nicht am
Versorgungsnetz angeschlossen, rastet der
Hebel (B) nicht ein.

• Nach abgeschlossenem Toastvorgang gibt der
Toaster 3 kurze Pieptöne ab, der Hebel wird
langsam angehoben und bringt gleichzeitig die
Brotscheiben mit nach oben.

• Ist der Toast nicht ausreichend gebräunt, wäh­len Sie einen höheren Bräunungsgrad, indem
Sie den Bräunungsgradregler (G) drehen. Ist
der Toast hingegen zu stark gebräunt, wählen
Sie einen niedrigeren Bräunungsgrad.

• Der Toastvorgang kann jederzeit gestoppt wer­den, indem Sie die Taste stop/clear (F) drücken.
Achtung: Während des Betriebs werden die
Einführschlitze sehr heiß. Um die getoasteten
Brotscheiben herauszunehmen, den Hebel nach
oben drücken: der Toastlift wird für weitere 2
cm angehoben und die Toasts können herau­sgenommen werden, ohne sich zu verbrennen
(Extralift). Nicht berühren!

Funktion “Auftauen”

Sie können tiefgefrorene Brotscheiben toasten,
indem Sie sofort nach dem Herunterdrücken des
Hebels (B) die Taste „Auftauen“ (C) drücken. Der
Toastvorgang wird verlängert, um den gewünschten
Bräunungsgrad zu erzielen.
Die Kontrolllampe bleibt so lange eingeschaltet, wie
die Auftaufunktion ist Betrieb ist.

Funktion Aufwärmen

Drücken Sie den Einschalthebel (B) nach unten, und
drücken Sie die Taste „Aufwärmen“ (D). Die
Kontrolllampe „Aufwärmen“ leuchtet während der
gesamten Dauer dieser Funktion auf. Die
Aufwärmzeit ist vorgegeben und lässt sich nicht
über den Bräunungsgraddrehknopf ändern.

Funktion „Bagel“ (Einseitiges Toasten)

Mit der Funktion “Bagel” können Sie Fladen, Brot,

usw. nur auf einer Seite toasten.
Die Fladen müssen halbiert werden. Senken Sie den
Einschalthebel (B), und drücken Sie die Taste
„Bagel“ (E), woraufhin nur die äußeren
Heizelemente des Toasters mit voller, und die inne­ren mit reduzierter Leistung eingeschaltet werden.
Die rote Kontrolllampe bleibt während dieses
Funktionsvorgangs eingeschaltet.
HINWEIS: Es empfiehlt sich, den normalerweise
beim Toasten verwendeten Bräunungsgrad wäh­rend der Bagel-Funktion herunterzuschalten.

TIPPS

- Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht leer (d.h. ohne
Brotscheiben).

- Verwenden Sie keine sehr dünnen oder gebro­chene Brotscheiben.

- Führen Sie keine Nahrungsmittel ein, die wäh­rend des Toastvorgangs tropfen können.
Dies würde nicht nur die Reinigungsarbeiten
erschweren, sondern könnte auch eine
Brandursache darstellen.

- Es ist zudem wichtig, dass Sie das Krümelblech
vor jedem Gebrauch reinigen und eventuelle
Tropfrückstände entfernen.

- Führen Sie nicht mit Gewalt zu große
Nahrungsmittel ein.

- Verwenden Sie zum Herausziehen von Brot aus
dem Toasterinneren keine Gabeln oder andere
Utensilien, da diese die Heizelemente des
Gerätes beschädigen könnten. Ziehen Sie hier­zu den Netzstecker, drehen Sie das Gerät auf
den Kopf und schütteln Sie es leicht.

REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

- Ziehen Sie vor Beginn jeder Reinigungs- oder
Instandhaltungsarbeit stets den Netzstecker aus
der Steckdose.

- Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, bevor Sie mit
der Reinigung beginnen.

- Reinigen Sie das Gerät außen mit einem wei­chen Tuch. Verwenden Sie keine Scheuermittel,
da diese die Oberfläche beschädigen könnten.

- TAUCHEN SIE DAS GERÄT NICHT IN WAS­SER.

- Ziehen Sie nach jedem Gebrauch den
Netzstecker, und entleeren Sie das am
Geräteboden befindliche Krümelblech, indem
Sie vorne darauf drücken: das Krümelblech tritt
langsam 2 cm heraus und lässt sich dann pro­blemlos herausnehmen.

- Sollte sich Toastscheiben verklemmt haben, so
ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, drehen den Toaster
auf den Kopf und schütteln ihn leicht.

BELANGRIJKE AANWIJZINGEN

- Het apparaat dient uitsluitend gebruikt te worden
voor de doeleinden waarvoor het ontworpen is.
Elk ander gebruik dient als oneigenlijk
beschouwd te worden en derhalve als gevaarlijk.
De fabrikant kan niet verantwoordelijk gesteld
worden voor eventuele schade veroorzaakt door
oneigenlijk, verkeerd en onverantwoordelijk
gebruik en/of door reparaties uitgevoerd door
niet vakbekwaam personeel.

- Nadat de verpakking verwijderd is, dient men te
controleren of het apparaat in goede staat
verkeerd. In geval van twijfel, moet het apparaat
niet gebruikt te worden en dient men zich te wen­den tot vakbekwaam personeel.
De plastic zak waarin het produkt verpakt is, dient
niet binnen het bereik van kinderen achtergelaten
te worden, omdat dit een bron van gevaar zou

- Voor het verwijderen van eventuele stof dat zich

het apparaat af te nemen met een zachte doek.

• Controleer of de hendel (B) omhoog staat en
of de draaiknop (G) op een gemiddelde roo­stergraad is ingesteld.

• Steek de stekker van het apparaat in het stop­contact. Om de “nieuwgeur” die bij het eerste
gebruik vrijkomt te verwijderen, dient u het
apparaat minstens 5 minuten zonder eten­swaren te laten werken. Lucht het vertrek tij­dens deze handeling.

• Doe de sneden brood in de broodsleuven (A)
en druk vervolgens de hendel (B) helemaal
omlaag. Opmerking: als het apparaat niet op
een stopcontact is aangesloten, kan de hendel
(B) niet in de onderste stand geblokkeerd
worden.

• Nadat het roosteren beëindigd is, zal het
broodrooster 3 korte geluidssignalen afgeven
en zal de hendel langzaam naar boven
komen, waarbij ook de sneden brood
omhoog komen.

• Als het brood niet voldoende geroosterd is,
dient men een hogere roostergraad te kiezen
door aan de knop (G) te draaien. Als het
brood echter te veel geroosterd is, dient men
een lagere roostergraad te kiezen.

• Het roosteren kan op elk moment onder­broken worden door op de toets stop/clear
(F) te drukken.
Let op: tijdens de werking worden de brood­sleuven zeer heet.
Duw, om de geroosterde sneden te verwijde­ren, de inschakelhendel omhoog: de brood­sleuf zal nog eens 2 cm omhoog komen,
zodat u het brood kunt vastpakken zonder u
te verbranden (extra-lift).
Niet aanraken !

Functie “defrost”

U kunt diepgevroren sneden brood roosteren
door op de toets “defrost” (C) te drukken zodra u
de hendel (B) omlaag hebt gedrukt. De berei­dingscyclus zal verlengd worden om de gewenste
roostergraad te bereiken.
Het controlelampje blijft branden zolang de
defrost-functie in gebruik is.

Functie verwarming

Duw de hendel (B) naar beneden en druk op de knop
“reheat” (D). Het controlelampje blijft branden zolang
deze functie in gebruik is. De verwarmingstijd is
steeds dezelfde en kan niet veranderd worden met de
regelknop van de roostergraad.

Functie “bagel” (roosteren aan één zijde)

De functie “bagel” dient voor het roosteren van
allerlei soorten brood aan één zijde.
Snijd het brood door de helft. Duw de hendel (B)

naar beneden en druk op de knop “bagel” (E).
Alleen de buitenste weerstanden van het broo­drooster werken op volle kracht, terwijl de bin­nenste weerstanden met gereduceerd vermogen
werken.
Het controlelampje blijft branden zolang deze
functie in gebruik is.
OPMERKING: het wordt aanbevolen om de roo­stergraad die normaliter voor het roosteren wordt
gebruikt, tijdens het gebruik van de bagel-functie
te verlagen.

TIPS

• Het apparaat niet leeg laten werken (d.w.z.
zonder sneden brood).

• Geen heel dunne of gebroken sneden brood
gebruiken.

• Geen etenswaren in het broodrooster doen
die tijdens het verwarmen kunnen lekken.
Afgezien van de moeilijkheden die dit veroor­zaakt voor het schoonmaken, kan dit ook
brandgevaar opleveren.
Het is bovendien belangrijk vóór elk gebruik
eventuele gelekte etenswaren van het kruime­lopvangblad te verwijderen.

• Geen te grote stukken in het broodrooster
duwen (forceren). Geen vorken of andere
voorwerpen in het broodrooster steken om
het brood eruit te halen, omdat hierdoor de
weerstanden beschadigd kunnen worden.
De stekker uit het stopcontact halen, het
apparaat omkeren en zachtjes schudden om
eventuele etensresten te verwijderen.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

• Elke reinigings- of onderhoudsbeurt dient te
geschieden nadat de stekker uit het stopcontact is
gehaald.

• Het apparaat laten afkoelen voordat men met rei­nigen begint.

• De buitenkant van het apparaat moet gereinigd
worden met een vochtige doek. Geen schurende
reinigingsproducten gebruiken die de buitenkant
kunnen beschadigen.

• DOMPEL HET APPARAAT NIET ONDER IN
WATER.

• Na elk gebruik de stekker uit het stopcontact
halen en de kruimelopvanglade die zich aan de
onderkant van het apparaat bevindt, leegmaken.
Druk hiervoor op het frontgedeelte: de lade komt
langzaam 2 cm naar buiten, zodat u hem vervol­gens eenvoudig uit zijn zitting kunt verwijderen.

• Indien een geroosterde boterham vast blijft zitten
in de sleuf, de stekker uit het stopcontact halen, het
apparaat omkeren en zachtjes schudden.

USO DE LOS MANDOS

• Controle que la palanca (B) esté levantada y que
el mando (G) esté situado en la posición de tosta­do medio.

• Enchufe el aparato a la corriente. Para eliminar el
olor a “nuevo” durante el primer uso, haga fun­cionar el aparato sin alimentos 5 minutos por lo
menos. Ventile la habitación durante esta opera­ción.

• Ponga las rebanadas de pan en las ranuras (A) y
baje la palanca (B) completamente. Nota: si el
aparato no está enchufado a la corriente, la
palanca (B) no permanecerá bajada.

• Cuando acaba el tostado, el tostador produce 3
beeps breves y la palanca sube lentamente,
haciendo subir también las rebanadas de pan.

• Si el pan no está lo suficientemente dorado, selec­cione un grado mayor de tostado, girando el
mando (G). Por el contrario, si está demasiado
dorado, seleccione un grado inferior.

• El tostado se puede interrumpir en cualquier
momento, simplemente presionando el botón
stop/clear (F).
Atención: durante el funcionamiento, las ranuras
se ponen muy calientes.
Para sacar las rebanadas tostadas, empuje la
palanca de encendido hacia arriba: la rejilla del
pan subirá otros 2 cm para que pueda sacar el
pan sin quemarse (extra-lift).
¡No las toque!

Función de descongelación

Puede tostar rebanadas de pan congelado, presio­nando el botón defrost (C), inmediatamente después
de haber bajado la palanca (B); el ciclo de cocción se
prolongará para alcanzar el dorado elegido.
El indicador luminoso permanecerá encendido
durante la función de defrost (descongelación).

Función de calentamiento

Baje la palanca de encendido (B) y pulse el botón de
calentamiento (D). El indicador luminoso de calenta­miento permanecerá encendido durante el uso de
esta función. Destacamos que el tiempo de calenta­miento es fijo y que no puede modificarse mediante
el mando de regulación del grado de tostado.

Función “bagel” (tostado por un lado)

La función “bagel” le permite tostar bollos, pan, etc.

por un lado únicamente.
Corte los bollos por la mitad y baje la palanca (B) de
encendido y presione el botón “bagel” (E); solamente
las resistencias externas del tostador funcionarán con
toda la potencia y las internas funcionarán con una
potencia reducida.
El indicador luminoso permanecerá encendido
durante el uso de esta función.
NOTA: es aconsejable reducir el grado de tostado
normalmente usado en la función toast cuando se uti­liza la función bagel.

CONSEJOS

• No haga funcionar el aparato vacío (o sea sin
rebanadas de pan).

• No use rebanadas de pan muy finas o rotas.

• No introduzca alimentos que puedan gotear
durante la cocción.

• Pues, además de dificultar la limpieza, pueden
ser causa de incendios.

• También es importante limpiar los goteos de la
bandeja recogemigas antes de cada uso.

• No introduzca (forzando) alimentos demasiado
grandes.

• No introduzca tenedores u otros utensilios en el
interior del tostador para sacar el pan, ya que
podrían estropear las resistencias del aparato.

• Desenchufe el aparato, vuélquelo y sacúdalo lige­ramente para quitar los eventuales alimentos
atrapados.

LIMPIEZA - MANTENIMIENTO

• Desenchufe el aparato de la corriente antes de
realizar cualquier operación de limpieza y man­tenimiento.

• Deje que el aparato se enfríe antes de limpiarlo.
Limpie las partes externas del aparato con un
paño húmedo. No use detergentes abrasivos que
podrían estropear la superficie.

• NO LO SUMERJA EN EL AGUA.

• Después de cada uso, desenchufe el aparato de
la corriente y vacíe la bandeja recogemigas,
situada en el fondo del aparato, ha de presionar
en la parte delantera: el cajón saldrá lentamente

UTILIZAÇÃO DOS COMANDOS

• Certifique-se de que a alavanca (B) está levanta­da e de que o botão (G) está regulado para o
grau de torragem média.

• Ligue o aparelho à tomada de alimentação.
Para eliminar o cheiro a “novo”, ligue o apa­relho, aquando da primeira utilização, sem quai­squer alimentos durante pelo menos 5 minutos.
Areje a divisão durante esta operação.

• Introduza as fatias de pão nas cavidades (A) e,
de seguida, baixe a alavanca (B) até ao fim do
curso. Nota: se o aparelho não estiver ligado à
tomada, a alavanca (B) não se mantém baixada.

• Quando a torragem terminar, a torradeira emi­tirá 3 bips curtos e a alavanca subirá lentamente,
fazendo subir igualmente as fatias de pão.

• Se a torrada não estiver suficientemente tostada,
seleccione um grau de torragem mais elevado,
rodando o botão (G). Se a torrada estiver dema­siado tostada, seleccione um grau inferior.

• A torragem pode ser interrompida a qualquer
momento premindo, simplesmente, a tecla
stop/clear (F).
Atenção: As cavidades ficam muito quentes
durante o funcionamento.
Para retirar as fatias tostadas, empurre a alavan­ca de ligação para cima: o carreto do pão subirá
mais 2 cm, o que lhe permitirá pegar no pão sem
se queimar (extra-lift).
Não toque!

Função de “descongelação”

Pode torrar fatias de pão congeladas premindo a
tecla defrost (C) logo depois de baixar a alavanca (B);
o ciclo de cozedura será prolongado para atingir o
grau de torragem desejado.
A luz piloto mantém-se acesa enquanto a função
defrost estiver a ser utilizada.

Função de aquecimento

Baixe a alavanca de ligação (B) e prima a tecla de
aquecimento (D). A luz piloto de aquecimento
mantém-se acesa durante o uso desta função. De
referir que o tempo de aquecimento é fixo e não pode
ser modificado intervindo no controlo do grau de tor­ragem.

Função “bagel” (tostar um lado)

A função “bagel” permite torrar fogaça, pão, etc. só
de um lado.
A fogaça deve ser cortada ao meio; baixe a alavan-

ca (B) de ligação e prima o botão “bagel” (E); ape­nas as resistências externas da torradeira funcio­narão à potência máxima; as internas funcionarão a
uma potência reduzida.
A luz piloto mantém-se acesa durante o uso desta
função.
NOTA: é aconselhável reduzir o grau de torragem
normalmente usado na função Toast durante a utili­zação da função Bagel.

CONSELHOS

• Não utilize o aparelho vazio (ou seja, sem fatias
de pão).

• Não utilize fatias de pão muito finas ou partidas.

• Não coloque alimentos que possam gotejar
durante a torragem.
Além de dificultar a limpeza, podem originar
incêndios.
Antes da utilização é igualmente importante lim­par quaisquer salpicos do tabuleiro de recolha
de migalhas.

• Não introduza (forçando) alimentos demasiado
grandes.
Não introduza garfos ou outros utensílios dentro
da torradeira para retirar o pão, dado que tal
pode danificar as resistências do aparelho.

• Retire a ficha da tomada, vire o aparelho ao con­trário e sacuda-o delicadamente para remover
eventuais alimentos que estejam presos.

LIMPEZA - MANUTENÇÃO

• Qualquer operação de limpeza e manutenção
deve ser efectuada depois de se retirar a ficha da
tomada.

• Aguarde que o aparelho arrefeça antes de pro­ceder à limpeza.

• A parte externa do aparelho deve ser limpa com
um pano húmido. Não utilize detergentes abrasi­vos, pois estes podem danificar a superfície.

• NÃO MERGULHE EM ÁGUA.

• Após cada utilização, retire a ficha da tomada e
esvazie o tabuleiro de recolha de migalhas situa­do na base do aparelho, premindo-o na parte
frontal: a gaveta sairá 2 cm lentamente, o que lhe
permitirá retirá-lo facilmente do lugar.

• Se as torradas ficarem presas na torradeira, reti­re a ficha da tomada, vire o aparelho ao con­trário e sacuda-o delicadamente.

τη συσκευή και απευθυνθείτε σε εξειδικευ­µένο προσωπικό. Για να καθαρίσετε τη σκόνη
που µπορεί να συγκεντρωθεί, αρκεί να
ξεσκονίσετε τη συσκευή µε ένα µαλακό πανί.

- Πριν συνδέσετε το φισ στην πρίζα του ρεύ­µατοσ, βεβαιωθείτε ότι:

η τάση του δικτύου αντιστοιχεί στην τιµή
που αναγράφεται στην ετικέτα χαρακτηρι­στικών, κάτω από τη συσκευή.

- η πρίζα του ρεύµατοσ διαθέτει αποτελεσµα­τική γείωση: ο κατασκευαστής δεν φέρει

καµία ευθύνη σε περίπτωση που δεν τηρηθεί
αυτός ο κανόνας.

-∑ε περίπτωση ασυµβατότητασ µεταξύ τησ
πρίζασ και του φισ τησ συσκευήσ, απευθυν-

θείτε σε εξειδικευµένο προσωπικό για την
αντικατάσταση τησ πρίζασ µε άλλη κατάλ­ληλου τύπου. ∑υνιστάται να αποφεύγετε τη
χρήση αντάπτορα, πολύπριζων και προεκτά­σεων. Εάν η χρήση τουσ είναι αναγκαία,
χρησιµοποιείτε µόνον απλούσ ή πολλαπλούσ
αντάπτορεσ και προεκτάσεισ σύµφωνα µε
τουσ ισχύοντεσ κανονισµούσ ασφαλείασ,
χωρίσ να υπερβείτε το όριο ισχύοσ που ανα­γράφεται στον αντάπτορα ή την προέκταση.

- Η πλαστική σακούλα που περιέχει τη συσκευή
δεν πρέπει να δίνεται σε παιδιά επειδή είναι

πιθανή εστία κινδύνου.

- Μη βάζετε τα χέρια σασ στισ υποδοχέσ για

το ψωµί όταν η συσκευή είναι συνδεδεµένη
στην πρίζα και προπαντόσ όταν λειτουργεί

(Α).

- Μην επιτρέπετε τη χρήση τησ συσκευήσ σε

άτοµα (ακόµα και παιδιά) µε µειωµένεσ
ψυχοφυσικέσ ικανότητεσ ή µε ανεπαρκή
εµπειρία, εκτόσ εάν επιβλέπονται µε προσοχή
και εκπαιδεύονται από έναν υπεύθυνο για τη
σωµατική ακεραιότητά τουσ.
Παρακολουθείτε τα παιδιά και βεβαιωθείτε
ότι δεν παίζουν µε τη συσκευή.

- Μην αγγίζετε τη συσκευή µε βρεγµένα ή
υγρά χέρια.

- Κατά τη λειτουργία, τα µεταλλικά τοιχώµα­τα και η περιοχή γύρω από τισ υποδοχέσ για
το ψωµί (Α) θερµαίνονται: χρησιµοποιήστε
τη συσκευή αγγίζοντασ µόνο τουσ διακόπτεσ
και τισ πλαστικέσ χειρολαβέσ.

Το ψωµί µπορεί να πάρει φωτιά.

Κατά συνέπεια µη χρησιµοποιείτε τη συσκευή
κάτω ή δίπλα σε κουρτίνεσ ή άλλα εύφλεκτα
υλικά.

- Μη σκεπάζετε τη συσκευή όταν την

χρησιµοποιείτε.

- Μη χρησιµοποιείτε τη συσκευή µε γυµνά ή
βρεγµένα πόδια.

- Αποσυνδέετε το φισ από την πρίζα του ρεύ­µατοσ όταν δεν χρησιµοποιείτε τη συσκευή.

- Μην αφήνετε τη συσκευή άσκοπα αναµµένη
γιατί αποτελεί εστία πιθανού κινδύνου.

- Μην αποσυνδέετε το φισ από την πρίζα τρα­βώντασ το ηλεκτρικό καλώδιο.

- Μην αφήνετε τη συσκευή εκτεθειµένη στουσ
ατµοσφαιρικούσ παράγοντεσ (βροχή, ήλιο,

παγετό κλπ.).

- Πριν απόοποιαδήποτε ενέργεια καθαρισµού ή

συντήρησησ, αποµονώστε τη συσκευή απότο
ηλεκτρικό δίκτυο τροφοδοσίασ αποσυνδέο­ντασ το φισ.

- Μη βυθίζετε ποτέ τη συσκευή

, το ηλεκτρικό

καλώδιο ή το φισ σε νερό.

-∑ε περίπτωση βλάβησ και/ή κακήσ λειτουρ-

γίασ, σβήστε τη συσκευή και µην επιχειρείτε
να την επισκευάσετε.

- Για ενδεχόµενεσ επισκευέσ και για την αντι-
κατάσταση του ηλεκτρικού καλωδίου

απευθυνθείτε µόνο στο εξουσιοδοτηµένο
∑έρβισ του κατασκευαστή.

- Φυλάξτε σε ασφαλέσ σηµείο τισ παρούσεσ
οδηγίεσ για µελλοντικέσ χρήσεισ.

- Η συσκευή δεν πρέπει να λειτουργεί µέσω

ενόσ εξωτερικού χρονοδιακόπτη ή µέσω
ενόσ ξεχωριστού συστήµατοσ ελέγχου εξ'
αποστάσεωσ.

Η συσκευή συµµορφούται µε την Οδηγία
2004/108/ΕΟΚ σχετικά µε την ηλεκτροµαγνητική
συµβατότητα.
Τα υλικά και τα αντικείµενα που προορίζονται
για να έλθουν σε επαφή µε τρόφιµα συµµορ­φούνται µε τισ διατάξεισ του Ευρωπακού
Κανονισµού 1935/2004.

Προειδοποιήσεις για τη σωστή διάθεση του

ΧΡΗ∑ΗΤΩΝ ΧΕΙΡΙ∑ΤΗΡΙΩΝ

• Βεβαιωθείτε ότι ο µοχλόσ (B) είναι αναση­κωµένοσ και ότι ο διακότησ (G) είναι ρυθ­µισµένοσ για µεσαίο βαθµό φρυγανίσµα­τοσ.

• Συνδέστε τη συσκευή στην ρίζα του ρεύ­µατοσ.
Για να εξαλείψετε την οσµή "καινούργιου"
την ρώτη φορά, αφήστε τη συσκευή να
λειτουργήσει χωρίσ τρόφιµα τουλάχιστον
εί 5 λετά. Αερίζετε το δωµάτιο κατά τη
διάρκεια αυτήσ τησ ενέργειασ.

• Τοοθετήστε τισ φέτεσ του ψωµιού στισ
υοδοχέσ (A), στη συνέχεια κατεβάστε το
µοχλό (B) τέρµα κάτω. Σηµείωση: εάν η
συσκευή δεν είναι συνδεδεµένη στην ρίζα,
ο µοχλόσ (Β) δεν αραµένει κατεβασµένοσ.

• Όταν τελειώσει το φρυγάνισµα, η φρυγα­νιέρα εκέµει 3 σύντοµα µι και ο µοχλόσ
ανεβαίνει αργά ανασηκώνοντασ και τισ
φέτεσ του ψωµιού.

• Αν το ψωµί δεν έχει ροδίσει αρκετά, ειλέξ­τε υψηλότερο βαθµό φρυγανίσµατοσ γυρ­νώντασ το διακότη (G). Αν αντίθετα το
ψωµί έχει ψηθεί υερβολικά, ειλέξτε χαµη­λότερο βαθµό φρυγανίσµατοσ.

• Το φρυγάνισµα µορεί να διακοεί ανά
άσα στιγµή ιέζοντασ αλώσ το λήκτρο
stop/άκυρο (F).
Προσοχή: κατά τη διάρκεια τησ λειτουργίασ
οι υοδοχέσ για το ψωµί ανατύσσουν
υψηλή θερµοκρασία. Για να βγάλετε τισ
φρυγανισµένεσ φέτεσ, σρώξτε το µοχλό
on/off ροσ τα άνω:  φορέασ του ψωµιού
θα ανέβει για άλλα 2 εκατ. ειτρέοντάσ
σασ να ιάσετε το ψωµί χωρίσ να καείτε
(extra-lift). Μην αγγίζετε !

Λειτουργία "ξε;αγώµατος"

Μορείτε να φρυγανίσετε φέτεσ κατεψυγµένου
ψωµιού ιέζοντασ το λήκτρο ξεαγώµατοσ (C)
αφού κατεβάσετε το µοχλό (B). Ο κύκλοσ ψησί­µατοσ αρατείνεται για να ειτευχθεί ο ειθυ­µητόσ βαθµόσ φρυγανίσµατοσ.
Η ενδεικτική λυχνία αραµένει αναµµένη όσο
χρησιµοοιείται αυτή η λειτουργία.

Λειτουργία ζεστάµατος

Κατεβάστε το µοχλό on/off (B) και ιέστε το
λήκτρο ζεστάµατοσ (D). Η ενδεικτική λυχνία
ζεστάµατοσ αραµένει αναµµένη όσο χρησιµο­οιείται αυτή η λειτουργία. Σηµειώστε ότι ο
χρόνοσ ζεστάµατοσ είναι σταθερόσ και δεν
µορεί να µεταβληθεί αλλάζοντασ το βαθµό
φρυγανίσµατοσ.

Λειτουργία "bagel" (φρυγάνισµα σε µία
;λευρά)

Η λειτουργία "bagel" σασ ειτρέει να ψήσετε

ίτεσ, ψωµί κλ. σε µία µόνο λευρά.
Οι ίτεσ ρέει να κοούν στη µέση και να τοο­θετηθούν µε το κοµµένο µέροσ ροσ τα έξω.
Κατεβάστε το µοχλό (B) on/off και ιέστε το
λήκτρο "bagel" (E), µόνο οι εξωτερικέσ αντι-
στάσεισ τησ φρυγανιέρασ θα λειτουργήσουν
στη µέγιστη ισχύ ενώ οι εσωτερικέσ θα λει­τουργήσουν σε µειωµένη ισχύ. Η ενδεικτική
λυχνία αραµένει αναµµένη όσο χρησιµοοιεί­ται αυτή η λειτουργία.
ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ: όταν χρησιµοοιείτε τη λειτουργία
bagel, συνιστάται να µειώσετε το βαθµό φρυ­γανίσµατοσ ου συνήθωσ χρησιµοοιείτε στη
λειτουργία φρυγανίσµατοσ.

ΣΥΜΒΟΥΛΕΣ

• Μην αφήνετε τη συσκευή να λειτουργεί
άδεια (χωρίσ φέτεσ ψωµί).

• Μη χρησιµοοιείτε ολύ λετέσ ή σασµένεσ
φέτεσ ψωµιού.

• Μη βάζετε τρόφιµα ου µορούν να στά­ξουν κατά το ψήσιµο. Εκτόσ αό τη δυσκο­λία καθαρισµού, µορούν να ροκαλέσουν
υρκαγιά.
Είναι είσησ σηµαντικό να καθαρίζετε το
δίσκο για τα ψίχουλα αό τυχόν υολείµµα­τα ριν αό κάθε χρήση.

• Μην ιέζετε ολύ µεγάλα τρόφιµα στισ υο­δοχέσ.
Μη βάζετε ιρούνια ή άλλα εργαλεία στη
φρυγανιέρα για να βγάλετε το ψωµί, γιατί
µορούν να ροκαλέσουν ζηµιέσ στισ αντι­στάσεισ τησ συσκευήσ.
Αοσυνδέστε το φισ, γυρίστε ανάοδα τη
συσκευή και ανακινήστε την ελαφρά για να
έσουν τυχόν υολείµµατα τροφίµων.

ΚΑΘΑΡΙΣΜΟΣ - ΣΥΝΤΗΡΗΣΗ

•Οοιαδήοτε ενέργεια καθαρισµού και
συντήρησησ ρέει να εκτελείται µετά την
αοσύνδεση του φισ αό την ρίζα του ρεύ­µατοσ.

• Αφήστε τη συσκευή να κρυώσει ριν ξεκι­νήσετε το καθαρισµό.

• Η εξωτερική ειφάνεια τησ συσκευήσ ρέει
να καθαρίζεται µε ένα υγρό ανί. Μη χρη­σιµοοιείτε διαβρωτικά αορρυαντικά ου
µορούν να καταστρέψουν την ειφάνεια.

• ΜΗ ΒΥΘΙΖΕΤΕ ΤΗ ΣΥΣΚΕΥΗ ΣΕ ΝΕΡΟ.

• Μετά αό κάθε χρήση, αοσυνδέετε το φισ
και αδειάζετε το δίσκο για τα ψίχουλα ου
βρίσκεται στο κάτω µέροσ τησ συσκευήσ
ιέζοντάσ τον στην ρόσοψη: το συρταράκι
θα βγει αργά για 2 εκατ., ειτρέοντάσ σασ
να το αφαιρέσετε εύκολα αό την υοδοχή
του.

• Σε ερίτωση ου µλοκάρουν οι φέτεσ, αο­συνδέστε το φισ, γυρίστε ανάοδα τη φρυ­γανιέρα και ανακινήστε την ελαφρά.
