Lifecycle Controller를 사용하여 Dell EMC PowerEdge 서버 설정

1. Open Lifecycle Controller.

a) Power on the server and press F10 to open Lifecycle Controller.

NOTE: If you miss pressing F10, restart the server and press F10.

The Initial Setup Wizard is displayed only when you open Lifecycle Controller for the first time.

2. Set up Lifecycle Controller.

a) Select the language and keyboard type, and click Next. b) Read the product overview, and click Next. c) Configure the network settings, and click Next after the settings are applied. d) Configure the iDRAC network settings and credentials, and click Next after the settings are applied.

3. Verify the applied network settings, and click Finish to exit the Initial Setup Wizard.

NOTE: The Initial Setup Wizard is displayed only when you open Lifecycle Controller for the first time. If you want to make

configuration changes later, restart the server, press F10 to open Lifecycle Controller, and select Settings or System Setup

from the Lifecycle Controller home page.

4. Update the firmware.

a) Click Firmware Update > Launch Firmware Update and follow the instructions on the screen.

5. Deploy an operating system.

a) Click OS Deployment > Deploy OS and follow the instructions on the screen.

iDRAC Express에서 iDRAC Service Module 설치

1. iDRAC 설정 페이지에서 iDRAC Service Module Setup 페이지를 선택하고 Install Service Module을 클릭합니다. 서비스 모듈 설치 프로그램은 호스트 운영 체제에서 사용할 수 있으며 작업이 iDRAC에서 생성됩니다.

2. 서비스 모듈 설치 프로그램 파일을 찾으려면 서버에 원격 또는 로컬로 로그인합니다.

3. 디바이스 목록에서 "SMINST" 라고 레이블 지정된 마운트된 볼륨을 찾고 그에 해당하는 스크립트를 실행합니다.

• Windows의 경우 명령 프롬프트를 열고 ISM-Win.bat 배치 파일을 실행합니다.

• Linux의 경우 셸 프롬프트를 열고 ISM-Lx.sh 스크립트 파일을 실행합니다.

4. 화면의 지시사항에 따라 설치를 완료합니다. 설치가 완료되면 iDRAC에서 서비스 모듈과 설치 날짜가 표시됩니다.

노트: 서비스 모듈 설치 프로그램은 30분 동안 호스트 운영 체제에서 사용할 수 있습니다. 30분 이내에 서비스 모듈 설치를

시작하지 않을 경우 설치를 다시 시작해야 합니다.

iDRAC Enterprise에서 iDRAC Service Module 설치

1. SupportAssist Registration 마법사에서 Next를 클릭합니다.

2. iDRAC Service Module Setup 페이지에서 Install Service Module을 클릭합니다.

3. Launch Virtual Console > Continue on the security warning을 클릭합니다.

4. 서비스 모듈 설치 프로그램 파일을 찾으려면 서버에 원격 또는 로컬로 로그인합니다.

노트: 설치 프로그램은 30분 동안 호스트 운영 체제에서 사용할 수 있습니다. 30분 이내에 설치를 시작하지 않을 경우 설치를

다시 시작해야 합니다.

5. 디바이스 목록에서 "SMINST" 라고 레이블 지정된 마운트된 볼륨을 찾고 그에 해당하는 스크립트를 실행합니다.

노트: 설치가 완료되면 호스트 운영 체제에서 서비스 모듈 설치 프로그램 파일이 삭제됩니다.
