This document provides information about the supported hardware and software versions for Dell™ DX Object Storage Platform systems.

Supported Hardware

This section lists the hardware supported by DX Object Storage Platform. Where applicable, firmware and driver versions are also listed.

BIOS Versions

Table 1 lists the BIOS version supported by the DX6000 system.

Hard Drives

The DX Object Storage Platform supports internal 3.5-inch hard drives only. Tabl e 2 lists the supported hard drives and RAID types.

Hot removal of drive is supported. Reinserting or adding a new hard drive requires reboot of the DX6012S and DX6004S.
