ELECTRONIC KITCHEN SCALES

Thank you for purchasing an electronic scale UNIT. Before operating please read this manual carefully.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

• Scales are intended use for household only.

• When installing and replacing the batteries observe the polarity speciﬁed.

• If you do not use the device for a long period, remove the batteries.

• Do not let children or incapable persons use the appliance.

• Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than speciﬁed in this manual.

• Do not clean the appliance with abrasive or aggressive chemicals.

• Do not place the appliance near heat sources such as radiators, ovens, etc. protect the instrument from direct sunlight and humidity.

• Scales are a measuring instrument. Protect the scales from impacts and falls.

• Do not attempt to repair the appliance, contact an authorized service center.

• Using the appliance for commercial purposes is not allowed.

TO REPLACE BATTERY

2 batteries AAA (not included)

• Open battery case cover on the back of scale.

• Take out the used batteries (with the aid of a sharp object, if needed).

• Install new battery by putting one side of the battery and then pressing down the other side. Please take note to the polarity.

OPERATION OF THE DEVICE

Weighing mode

• Place the scale on a solid and ﬂat surface.

• Place bowl (if used) on the scale before turning on the scale.

• Press «ON/OFF» to turn on the scale

• Wait until LCD shows «0» to start weighing. Press «UNIT» to convert to weight mode if needed.

• Load weighing object on to start weighing, LCD will show the weight reading.

TO CONVERT WEIGHT UNIT

Scales can make measurements in the metric system (grams) and Imperial system (ounces). You can press UNIT to convert between two systems during the course of weighing.
