WHO IS COVERED:
This warranty covers only the original purchaser of th e DEFENDER™ Theft Deterrent
Locking Drawer within 1-year after purchase. This warrant y is not transferable.
HOW LONG DOES COVERAGE LAST:
Coverage lasts 1-year from the date of the original purchase.
WHAT IS COVERED:
Any defect in material or workmanship of your DEFENDER™ The ft-Deterrent Locking
Drawer.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED:
This warranty does n ot cover damage due to misuse , abuse or accident such as :
• failure to mainta in the product as provided in the locking drawer instructio n manual
• commercial use
• improp er or unauthorized repair or service
• f ire, flood, “acts of God” or other contingencies beyond the contro l of
HoMedics, Inc.
WHAT HOMEDICS WILL DO:
Repair, and if not possible, replace your DEFENDER™ Theft De terrent Locking Drawer with
a new or reconditioned model of the same t ype. If the model has been revised, you will
receive the most current model.

Product Information
The DEFENDER™ Theft Deterrent Lock ing Drawer is built to secure valuables. It will
accommodate most standard size laptops, document s and small electronics. This product
is intended for basic protection only. It is not intended to be used as f urniture and will not
support excessive weight. This will void warrant y.
Setup
The customizable code lock can be p rogrammed to any four digit combination.
To set code lock:
1. Set the lock combination to the preset code of 0-0 -0-0.
2. Turn the lever to the 12 o’clock (vertical) position and open the drawer.
3. Turn the lever back to the 3 o’clock (horizontal) position.
4. Turn the knob on the back of the lock to “Set Code”.
5. Set the dials on the front of the lock to your personalized combination. W hen you
have entered your desired code, return the knob back to the “On” p osition.
IMPORTANT: Record and store thi s combination in a safe pla ce. Once the dial is
turned to “On” the comb ination is set to your code. T he lock cannot be unlocked
or reset without this c ode. Homedics will not b e responsible for any lost or
misplaced codes .
6. The lock combination is now set to your personalized code.
The cable tether can be utilized for ad ded security.
To attach cable tether:
1. Remove the drawer from the housing.
2. Unscrew the knob on the bottom right of the housing.
3. The cable is to be utilized to lock/secure drawer for se curity.
4. Feed one looped end of tether through the loope d end to secure it to the desired
object.
5. Feed the end of the tether through the opening on the rear r ight side of the
housing.
6. Place the loop of the tether over the raised plastic where the knob was.
7. Reattach the knob by screwing it back in. This will secure your l ocking drawer to the
object.

Operation
Usage
To open drawer:
To open the drawer, turn the code lock to the correct combination. The factory set ting for
the combination will be 0-0- 0-0.
Turn the black lever to the 12 o’clock (vertical) position and open the drawer.
To lock door:
To lock, close the drawer and turn the black lever to the 3 o’clock (horizontal ) position.
Then turn any of the dials to digits other than the combination.
Cleaning
The locking drawer can be cleaned by wip ing with a damp cloth. Be sure to remove all
items from the drawers before cleaning.
