The Datacard®SP55 card printer combines the power of professional-grade card

printing and the plug-and-play simplicity of a consumer desktop printer. This

versatile, cost-effective printer delivers high-quality cards for corporate, education,

retail, healthcare and other markets.

• Flexible performance. The SP55 card printer features smart card, proximity card,

magnetic stripe and bar code options that make it easy to create a wide range of

cards on demand. It is ideal for issuing multi-technology photo IDs that provide

secure access to facilities, networks and other privileges. This printer also can issue

student and staff IDs in schools as well as retail, loyalty and membership cards.

• High productivity. The SP55 card printer produces up to 180 full-color cards

per hour. An optional extra-large card input hopper helps ensure continuous

productivity, and a 40-card output hopper keeps operations moving without delays.

High speed meets high quality with true edge-to-edge printing and sharp, crisp

images driven by our exclusive Advanced Image Technology™.

• Intelligent features. The innovative Datacard®Smart Driver™printer driver

provides all the information you need on screen, including message prompts, color

image previews and online user help. The SP55 card printer also offers a built-in

LCD and optional Ethernet connectivity.
