S7_PVE_O Function Block

This function block controls the output of a Danfoss Series 7 PVEO electrical actuator.
The PVEO actuator provides on and off control of valves.

Inputs

Inputs to the function block are described.
Input Type Range Description Enable BOOL T/F Enables and disables Output A and Output B.
T: Enables Output A and Output B. F: Disables Output A and Output B.
Fdbk A BUS —— Input for the Status bus that reports the status of the output that is used by the function block’s Output A.
Each output has a Status bus (available through the Input bus) that reports on its status.
Fdbk B BUS —— Input for the Status bus that reports on the status of the output that is used by the function block’s Output B.
Each output has a Status bus (available through the Input bus) that reports on its status.
Input A BOOL T/F Controls Output A.
T: Turn on Output A. F: Turn off Output A.
Input B BOOL T/F Controls Output B.
T: Turn on Output B. F: Turn off Output B.

Function Block Parameter Values

The function block's operating characteristics are set by para bus input signals.
Input Type Range Description Flt_Det BOOL T-F Enables fault detection based on overload/open pin status.
T—Enable fault detection. F—Disable fault detection.

Outputs

Outputs of the function block are described.
Item Type Range Description Fault U16 —— Reports the faults of the function block.
Output A BUS —— Controls the flow of hydraulic pressure to work port A on the PVEO actuator.
T—Flow from the pressure inlet to work port A. F— No flow from the pressure inlet to work port A.
Output B BUS —— Controls the flow of hydraulic pressure to work port B on the PVEO actuator.
T—Flow from the pressure inlet to work port B. F— No flow from the pressure inlet to work port .

Fault Logic

This topic describes how fault logic indicates problems and causes of problems, as well as solutions to problems.
The following table shows how:
The Fault output indicates fault conditions.
•
Fault conditions set both Output A and Output B to F.
•
Condition Fault Output A Output B
Block is OK. 0x0000 T or F. T or F. Output A or Output B is short circuited. 0x8008 F. F. Both Input A and Input B are T. 0x8010 F. F.
Once a fault condition clears, both Input A and Input B must first return to F before Output A and
Output B return to normal T/F operation.

Legacy MC Controller—Output Configuration

Follow the instructions in this section to route the Output A and Output B from the function block to an MFOut or a DigOut on legacy MC controllers.

Configure the MFOut

Configure the multi-function output signal for the function block.
1. In the GUIDE template, enter the Outputs page.
2. Enter the MFOut that receives the function block’s output.
3. Delete the wires to DigOut and PinConfig.

Configure the DigOut

Configure the digital output signal for the function block.
1. In the GUIDE template, enter the Outputs page.
2. Enter the DigOut that receives the function block’s output.
3. Make the changes that are shown in the following figure.

SC and Non-Legacy MC Controller—Output Configuration

Follow the instructions in this section to route the Output A and Output B of the function block to an MFOut or a DigOut on SC controllers and non-legacy MC controllers.

2. Enter the MFOut that receives the function block’s output.
3. Make the changes that are shown in the following figure.
