Data Sheet
Thermostatic Radiator Sensor, Type RAW-K 5013
Application
The RAW series is a programme of radiator
thermostats which covers all central and
district heating systems.
RAW-K is a self-acting proportional controller
with a small P-band.
RAW-K radiator thermostats are designed for
use in 2-pipe domestic heating systems.

Features - Thermostatic valves functioning
Thermostatic sensors RAW-K 5013 are
manufactured to the highest standards,
and are approved to the European standard EN 215.
RAW-K 5013: Vt = 0,2 K
autonomously without auxiliary power
- Locking and limitation of the sensors
temperature setpoint are carried out using
the limiter tabs
The RAW-K sensor incorporates a frost protection setting for maximum user flexibility,
and provides also the option to limit the
temperature range.
The RAW-K design is particularly robust, with
both End-Stop strength limits and sensor
bending force limits being substantially
above the requirements of the European
Standard EN 215.
All Danfoss radiator thermostats are manufactured in factories, assessed and certified
against ISO 9001and ISO 14001.
- Comfort in heating and very good
recovery (energy saving)
- Aesthetic that integrates with any interior

Setting the Temperature
* = Frost protection setting
Mounting
The required room temperature is set by
turning the thermostat handle. The temperature scale shows the correlation between
scale values and the room temperature. The
temperature values stated are for guidance
only as the obtained room temperature will
often be influenced by installation conditions.
Mount the sensor onto the valve by
tightening the nut with a wrench.
The temperature scale is stated according to
European standards at Xp = 2K. This means
that the radiator thermostat close at a sensor
temperature which is 2°C higher than stated
on the temperature scale.
Limiting the Adjustment
Range
VDLTC102 © Danfoss 01/2017 2
The thermostat's two limiter tabs can be used for
simply limiting of the min. and max. range.
Example: If 4 should be max. setting, turn the
thermostat handle to the max. stop (A) and press
and hold right tab (B) while turning the thermostat to 4. Now release tab.
With the left tab the lower temperature must be
turned to other position.
Unauthorized adjustment of the limit settings
can be prevented by means of blocking pins
( Accessory No . 013G5199 ).
These can only be removed with the Danfoss
special tool ( Order No. 013G1236 ).
